Heya Aspiring Gurus!
On Monday, I went to work for three hours to do register training for my retail job. There was a few papers with check lists to make sure that the man training me went over everything with me and let me tell you, operating a register is very complicated and not that easy. I mean, it’s not totally difficult but there are so many details to remember that at times I got confused. My trainer told me actually that I was getting it faster than most other employees that he had previously trained so that made me fel a lot better. I got my schedule for the rest of the week and that was really it. I did learn of all the ways that customers try to rob you and that was very interesting. I never heard of a lot of the tatics and I learned a few things. But really, it was an uneventful day. Better events happened yesterday and today which I will be blogging about in later posts. I’m still trying to get over my cold, so I’ll end it here. I know it was short, but I promise longer ones in the near future.
Until my next post!
With Love,

I think its true people try to rob you and trick you at the register. a while ago a friend who worked in retail had someone do a whole complicated money thing on her and she ended up being down $60 or so. it was like a con artist tactic and it worked.
Wow. Yeah. I’ve heard of that tatic. They hand you all different bills and get you confused so you give them more money. I feel bad for your friend. Hopefully, it didn’t come out of her pay.
It seems like working a register would be one of those things that is much harder than it looks. Though I’m sure you’ll pick it up in no time. 🙂
Thanks. 🙂 I’m hoping so. I’m doing it again today and I’m nervous. I’m going to take it slower this time and I’ll get it mostly right.
