For Eco-Beauty Good Day Day Moisturizer
What it is: A hydrating moisturizer that revitalizes dry, tired skin.
Key Ingredients: Water, aloe, glycerin, caffeine, cucumber extract, grape extract, Maqui Berry, Licorice extract, ginkgo extract, hickory extract, cetyl alcohol, and sodium hyaluronate.
How it feels/smells/looks: It is a thick white cream that smells strongly of peppered cucumber [my favorite snack]. This feels sticky on the skin and is hard to try to get it to sink into the skin.
Why I Like it: Well, I love the scent, but that is about it. It feels sticky/tacky on the skin and it takes about 5 to 10 minutes of patting the moisturizer on my skin to get it to absorb the lotion. Also, it isn’t a pleasant application. It feels almost waxy on the skin and the lotion gets moved around on the surface of the skin. I think that there are far better lotions out there. If anything, I think that this lotion is geared towards drier skin types or for mature skin. If you have dry skin, it might be worth a shot if you want to try this. I received this in my Ipsy bag and I am glad that I was able to try it out.
With Love,
Isn’t glycerin usually in soap? A strange thing to put in a moisturizer. Even if it wasn’t great, that’s a pretty good sized sample.
In some soaps. Glycerin provides penetration for moisturizers, which is why glycerin soaps are less harsh.
