Heya Aspiring Gurus!
I finally have a few movies to review for you all today! I have been watching a few movies and relaxing on my two month leave, which will be officially over on Tuesday. I go back to work on Tuesday. 😦 There is a bit of everything, so enjoy!
Unfinished Business
This movie was hilarious and one of the best comedies that have seen in awhile. It was the perfect balance of funny and witty. I have been a fan of Vince Vaughn forever and Dave Franco, James Franco’s brother was one of the best parts of the movie. He played his part and it was very believable. He was comedic relief in this movie. I couldn’t have spent my Redbox token any better than this. This was also a different type of comedy with an actual plot that made sense. I could see this actually happening in real life. 5 out of 5 stars
Wild
I love Reese Witherspoon, but this was not my favorite movie of hers. I honestly found it boring and dragged out. Maybe I would have liked it better if I had read the book first, but I was not really paying attention to this movie as I watched it. It didn’t even seem to make much sense and at the end, I didn’t understand the point of the movie. I just missed the boat on this one. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t live up to expectations. 2 out of 5 stars
Spy
This is another comedy that I enjoyed. Melissa McCarthy is such a great actress. Danielle, I am so glad you introduced me to her. I never would have watched her movies, if it wasn’t for you. You started my addiction! I didn’t know the other actors in the movie, but everyone played their parts very well. I couldn’t believe who ended up being the bad guy! 5 out of 5 stars
The Intern
I love both actors in this movie, but like the movie Wild, I just thought it was boring. I liked some parts of it, but most of the time it was getting all the back story and waiting for things to happen. It was a slow movie and I fell asleep watching it. There was so much hype about this movie that I was disappointed. I still finished watching it, but I would not recommend it. 2 out of 5 stars
Inside Out
I rented this movie for Dean and he was very enthused with all of the colors. I enjoyed the movie as well. It is a cute movie for kids and teaching them about different emotions. I actually have to applaud Disney with this one. I couldn’t find anything inappropriate with it. My favorite character was Disgust, which I would have thought to be envy or vanity. I could recognize all the voices, but I know a few good actors were voice overs in this one. 5 out of 5 stars
With Love <3
I actually really liked the intern! It wasn’t exciting, but I thought it was cute and pleasant. Lol. I think I’ve seen all of these except unfinished business. Spy was so funny though. I liked her best friend a lot, she was funny.
It wasn’t the worst movie ever.
No it was not! Lol. I’ve definitely seen worse movies. I’ve seen a few recently that I didn’t like at all.
