I have quite a few products that I used up in July. July turned out to be a good month for me and it is mostly due to my project pan. It really motivated me to use and enjoy what I have in my collection. I’m looking forward to reviewing some of these products in my post, so stay tuned for some reviews. I’m really a review blog for the most part. I love writing reviews on products that I have used up and I have a ton of posts in back stock. I just use up so many products that the reviews get backlogged. I try to mix it up, so it’s at least a variety. That means that some of these items won’t be reviewed for months though. Now that I have explained that. Let’s get counting.

I impressed myself this month with 40 empties. Granted only 23 were beauty, skin care, and hair care products. Still, 23 beauty related empty products is amazing in one month. I think August will bring around 20 items total. I really emptied quite a few products. Most of what I am using now are mostly full. I’m not thinking that I will have a whole lot, which is good. I have so many reviews to write about now. About 20 I think. I know it’s August 6th right now, but I have an empty bucket.
With Love ❤

So much! Way to go! What did you end up thinking of exfolikate? I think it’s not my most favorite micro exfoliant but not my least either. My favorite that I’ve tried so far is dr. Brandt.
The Dr. Brandt is better, but I loved the scent on the Kate one. If I had to choose, I’d buy the Dr one, you get more product for less and it performs better. I wouldn’t mind getting another sample of the Kate on though.
I’d really like to try some of the other Kate Somerville products. I know I tried some goat milk moisturizer once, but I’d be willing to try anything. I think there’s a product called dermaquench that sounds interesting but I may be confusing it with something else.
They are pricey but I really want that goat milk moisturizer.
I had a foil packet of that once it was nice. I’d love if they put it in a future play box.
But as an actual little sample jar. That would be nice.
It would. Or even some kind of face wash sample. I do like that they send some of their lesser known brands in the box. I was also just in Sephora with Beth to get her birthday freebie and they had a ton of new in house brand masks which would be fun to try too.
I bought the rose lip mask. I haven’t tried it yet though. Did you try the Sephora pod?
Not yet. I have it set aside for after I finish my current sleep mask up. Then I’m using it after. I tried the pink sleep mask before though and it was nice.
That’s good. I’ve been curious about the Sephora brand products.
They do sometimes send them in the boxes and I’ve also bought a couple of the lip gloss sets for myself a few years ago. A Minnie Mouse set and a jem and the holograms set. I think they’re nice. You usually got 5 decently sized minis for around $25 I think?
I should do that some time. Maybe during the November sale.
That is probably a good time. They usually end up with some of their products in the sale section.
They have a whole bunch of Sephora brand in there sale section, even sheet masks and makeup wipes. I will be picking something up from them for sure.
I remember when they used to have the Sephora by OPI nail polishes there. I miss those.
They were really good too. I think it was the same formula as the Nicole ones.
I think so as well, but they were a little more expensive than Nicole by opi. I think I’ve tried one of the formula x polishes, which is what they replaced them with. It was good if I remember correctly. Almost a one coater.
Now they are getting rid of that one as well.
Really? I wonder if they’ll replace it.
Yup. Well, Sephora is bringing in ColorPop. I cannot wait to look at it in stores.
I heard about that! That will be exciting. Probably also the most inexpensive makeup line they will have there.
