Empties: July

I have quite a few products that I used up in July. July turned out to be a good month for me and it is mostly due to my project pan. It really motivated me to use and enjoy what I have in my collection. I’m looking forward to reviewing some of these products in my post, so stay tuned for some reviews. I’m really a review blog for the most part. I love writing reviews on products that I have used up and I have a ton of posts in back stock. I just use up so many products that the reviews get backlogged. I try to mix it up, so it’s at least a variety. That means that some of these items won’t be reviewed for months though. Now that I have explained that. Let’s get counting.

I impressed myself this month with 40 empties. Granted only 23 were beauty, skin care, and hair care products. Still, 23 beauty related empty products is amazing in one month. I think August will bring around 20 items total. I really emptied quite a few products. Most of what I am using now are mostly full. I’m not thinking that I will have a whole lot, which is good. I have so many reviews to write about now. About 20 I think. I know it’s August 6th right now, but I have an empty bucket.

With Love ❤

  1. So much! Way to go! What did you end up thinking of exfolikate? I think it’s not my most favorite micro exfoliant but not my least either. My favorite that I’ve tried so far is dr. Brandt.

    1. The Dr. Brandt is better, but I loved the scent on the Kate one. If I had to choose, I’d buy the Dr one, you get more product for less and it performs better. I wouldn’t mind getting another sample of the Kate on though.

      1. I’d really like to try some of the other Kate Somerville products. I know I tried some goat milk moisturizer once, but I’d be willing to try anything. I think there’s a product called dermaquench that sounds interesting but I may be confusing it with something else.

      2. It would. Or even some kind of face wash sample. I do like that they send some of their lesser known brands in the box. I was also just in Sephora with Beth to get her birthday freebie and they had a ton of new in house brand masks which would be fun to try too.

      3. They do sometimes send them in the boxes and I’ve also bought a couple of the lip gloss sets for myself a few years ago. A Minnie Mouse set and a jem and the holograms set. I think they’re nice. You usually got 5 decently sized minis for around $25 I think?

      4. They have a whole bunch of Sephora brand in there sale section, even sheet masks and makeup wipes. I will be picking something up from them for sure.

      5. I think so as well, but they were a little more expensive than Nicole by opi. I think I’ve tried one of the formula x polishes, which is what they replaced them with. It was good if I remember correctly. Almost a one coater.
