I totally just accidentally deleted every picture off of my sd card. So, no more Sephora or Mashalls haul. And the rest of my collection posts are suspended until next year. I am so mad at myself right now. lol. Not going to lie, I cried a bit about it. I am so disappointed that I am not going to be sharing this stuff with you, but I am not about to take a million pictures trying to make up for the ones that I have lost. I will take this as a good thing and start my blog with fresh content again.
That means, currently my blog content is empty for lack of pictures. I will be posting my Dean updates and a slew of reviews. I still can kick myself for losing everything. sigh The first time in all of the years that I have blogging have I ever did that before. It was like 75 pictures.
I have been taking consignment bags of clothes every week and slowly weeding out the toys that Dean no longer plays with for donations. I price my own clothes and get 50% of the price when it sells. It is enough to get a little bit of money for me to buy my own clothes with at a thrift store.
Oh! And I will be sharing my college experiences with all of you with the process of applying to an online college, a good old college haul, and more content like how I study or balance school, etc. I want to wait until I am officially registered and have signed all the paperwork first, before commenting on the whole beginning experience. So, probably next week, I will be writing a blog post. If not, the week after for sure.
I have been blogging on Sundays and planning them out for the rest of the week for the most part. Some posts, I will write that day if I don’t get to write all of them on Sunday. I write on Sunday for 1 to 2 hours during Dean’s nap. I want to spend as much time with him as possible on my days off. I sometimes blog during his nap on a weekday, but I am usually watching an adult movie with my dad or another quite activity. I am sure when I start college, it will be doing college work.
I wanted to write a little update about why certain posts are no longer going up and what to expect on my blog right now. I have a heap of reviews piling up, so I am starting to see it as a good thing. I still have a whole heap of products to write reviews about, too. I have been cleaning/organizing lately. I am thinking about posting content like that on the blog as well. I want to buy an organizational tool once a week to try to organize this house. I am thinking about sharing before and afters and the step by step how I did it.
I’m thinking about having a beauty/lifestyle blog and making it more official with some organizational content, cooking/baking, and even some gardening. I think I am ready to evolve from just mostly beauty. I mean, I do book reviews regularly and movie ones sporadically. I think I would enjoy writing my content more with a better focus on what I actually do and care about. A big part is beauty, but another big part is organization. I want to show that on my blog more and have the motivation to buy stuff to organize our small space and keep it nice.
With Love,
OMG! Poor you, that’s one of my worst nightmares. I know how much planning a simple blog post takes and to lose all those pictures must have been heartbreaking. But just as you said, it is a fresh start and I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us. I think the addition of post ideas is great, especially the organization part. Things do happen for a reason and I am sure you’ll make the most out of this mishap.
Reblogged this on LIFE STORY'S FROM LINCOLN.
Thanks!
That is the worst! Google once convinced me to free up space on my phone by removing a bunch of old pictures and said that they were safely backed up to my Google account. They were but I had never used that feature before and thought they were lost then found them like a year later, not helpful 🙂 A fresh start can be a great thing though!!
Yeah, I am kicking myself right now, but let bygones be bygones. LOL.
