Dean’s ABA Week

Dean has been doing very well with his therapies. Happy Memorial Day everyone! Too bad we are going to be having gloomy weather with not that much sunshine. I cannot wait for summer to truly start. I want to wear my sunscreen and sit out by the pool. Dean loves bouncing in the big trampoline and sitting outside on a hot day enjoying a Popsicle. Once July starts, I will be doing class by the pool for some quit and some sun. I have some vacation time to kill, so I will be using it for sure. Balance is key to a happy, healthy life. Anyone have any plans for a gloomy day like today? It’s raining.

Very good session! Dean energetic, lots of nice eye contact, making more and more connection with eyes. New peanut butter. 🙂 Mouthing hard items.

Dean did well this morning. Sat well across from me for most all toy activities. Enjoyed peanut butter at snack time. Great watching my mouth as I was making sounds.

5/24/18 – Joyce

Lots of babbling! Increased eye contact. Some avoidance behaviors. Eager to play and move from toy to toy.

5/24/18 – Ann

Dean had a great morning. Lots of good eye contact and interactions. Had to prompt for pointing to non-preferred. Did well letting me know what he wanted.

5/25/18 – Ann

Dean did well this morning. Independently completing shape sorter, and quicker to complete. Pointing much better with one non-preferred. I’m off Tuesday. Deb can be here 9:30 to 11.

Dean has been quicker with learning tasks and completing it them. I also feel like he is just rushing from one thing to the next. He still only likes to eat the crayons. I really want to color with him. I always loved coloring as a kid. I really want to complain about something college related, but I am waiting for my blog posts about it. I am working on a post this week for the process of enrolling in SNHU and my decision to go back to college after a 5 year hiatus. Then, I will do a blog posts of essentials: things you need for college AKA a haul. Another post about my degree program and classes that I am taking. Once I actually start college, I am thinking about writing a post on each class at the end of each semester and writing my experience and the grade I got. I know some of you had said that you wanted to see this content, so I am super excited to be starting to share!

Also, at the end of the year, I want to do a traditional versus online college experience.

With Love,
