I received a surprising Voxbox from Influenster. I was mailed the Valentino box and when I opened it, I thought it was mistakenly sent to me. It had a card in the box, but no where stated it was from Influenster. I looked on the app and saw that I had the campaign badge for it. I must have gotten the box, before the notifications went out. I did get the notification via email a couple of days after it came in. Let’s get the disclaimer out of the way. I received this for free via Influenster for reviewing and testing purposes. All opinions are my own. I was sent free products in exchange for an honest review.
This box has me feeling so fancy. I have one Dior product that I also got from Influenster and they just make me feel like a fancy person, even if I’m the only one that knows that I’m wearing it. Luxury makeup and skin care give me such a confidence boost. I would never purchase them outright though. The sale would have to be VERY good like the Farsali that I have purchased for $9 full size.
The black liquid liner is very opaque and there is not much bleeding. It was really easy to use, but I am terrible about using a liquid liner. The red/orange/pink liner is very creamy and glided easily on the lid. It was also good in the waterline.
Valentino Stick With Me Glitter Primer Base, 10ml for $25
It was a nice base. It kept the glitter on my eyes. I really have nothing else to say about it, because I don’t have any experience with glitter primers. I never used one before this even though I wear a lot of glitter. I am going to use it with the other glitters that I have to see if the performance is clear across the board.
Valentino DreamDust Eye Glitter in SkyDust, 3.1g for $32
This eye glitter is so gorgeous! I love it. I love the color. I love everything about it! This is the item I am most excited for. I am so happy to have this in my collection. I won’t say that it will be used up by the end of this year, but I wouldn’t be surprised either. I’ve been wearing this a lot.
Valentino Eye2Cheek Blush in Bright Dream, 3.6 g for $58
This doesn’t look like a blush shade to me. It looks more like a highlight. I am not sure how I feel about it as a blush and it is not pigmented enough for me to wear on my eyes as eye shadow. I know some people like dewy or shinny blush and I think that people who like that would enjoy this. I also think if you want to buy this as a luxury highlighter, this would be a good one as you can build up the pigmentation to a certain degree.
This was a pretty expensive voxbox, so I feel very grateful to have gotten these goodies. I might give the “blush” to a friend, who might have better luck with it.
Finally, I am getting around to this post. I did torque up my knee, so I’ve been recovering as well as being lazy putting things off. lol. My full HUGE bag for January prompted me to finish my December posts. There will be quite a few going up this week ideally to catch up on some of my content. I tend to blog in spurts, but I am hoping to develop a consistent schedule once I am done with college and have that degree at the end of August. Until then, get used to hearing from me sporadically with a week or two of heavily content and then a few weeks of light to none. I am excited to see how much stuff I was able to use up/declutter for the year of 2020.
#272
I used up a box of hair dye. My hair is more on the magenta side than red. I bought another box and will do my hair again. It does rinse out for the most part. I am on the hunt for a true wine red.
#273-275
I used a hair tie, deodorant, and a sample of vitamins.
#276-281
I used up a marker and 5 rolls of washi tape that I used on Christmas gifts.
#281-321
40 sheets/stickers. It was a lot to go through in a month, but a whole bunch was gift labels.
#322
I gave my stepdaughter my unicorn keepsake box. My mother gave me a nice wooden one hand made from Poland. I don’t need more than one keepsake box and Jenna loves unicorns as much as I do. I’m ready to let go of it.
#323
I gave my daughter this plan page holder for drawing.
#334-336
I gave these labels to my grandmother-in-law.
#337-353
I gave everything seen above to Jenna.
#354-355
Two bottles of hand sanitizer: one from my purse and one from the homestead.
#356-357
A mini mascara and mini powder. I was happy to use up two makeup items!
#358-361
A cleansing face polish and three masks. It was a month of skincare for sure.
#362-367
5 clothing items decluttered.
367/1,000 isn’t bad for my first year and I am planning to continue it in 2021 (this year) as well. I beat my personal goal of 250, but did not quite reach the halfway mark. I am still really proud of what I was able to accomplish in 2020.
I did a second Black Friday Haul from Erin Condren. I got this completely free by just using my credit card points. I was pretty pumped about this haul and I still am. Everything was put to great use and I feel so much more organized with my planner supplies. The box was so HUGE that I tore off the top and turned it into a cat bed for Creag. He is only about 8 months and he is such a big boi. He won’t be full grown until he is 3 years old. I cannot wait to celebrate his birthday this year.
Apparently, my cat made off with one of my pens. Any who, I really love this pen holder! As you can see, I have a bit of a colored pen problem. I would love to get another one of these for my office when I get another office job after I graduate at the end of August. There are a whole bunch of things that I want for my office from EC once the time comes to be purchasing things. I want to be a database administrator for the school system, so I know it’ll come with its own office.
I have used it once and I really like it. Basically, it is the glue version of white out and I plan on using it to stick in pictures and other mementos that aren’t backed on sticker paper. It is easy to use and I think it will come in handy for all of the projects I seem to be doing.
I bought myself another notebook for school to take notes in. These are great quality notebooks and durable.
This sticker pack was less than $1.
I wanted some gratitude stickers to go with the Vision Journal that I purchased.
I filled up my sticker album with all of my stickers. My sticker box is super organized now!
This is the Vision Journal set that I purchased.
I love these markers and I want more of them. They don’t bleed through the Life Planner and the notebooks. They do bleed through the petites though.
I gave this pencil case to my stepdaughter as part of her Christmas present.
This Vision Journal is so pretty! I haven’t started it yet as I am starting my Gratitude Journal instead. I try not to focus on too many things at once, so I am just focusing on them one at a time. I am hoping that I can add more onto my plate as time goes by.
Below:
I purchased a sticker bundle, so I got everything for around $25.
I split a lot of these sticker sheet with my stepdaughter as part of her Christmas gift. I did not purchase these all for myself. This is the most that I have gotten into stickers my entire life.
I should have posted this in December, when I got everything in but life happens. I hope everyone is enjoying the new year and is staying safe. I am hoping to get more old posts out this week, so I can start pumping out my newer content. Fingers crossed!
I made a Black Friday order at my favorite sticker store, because she was selling reusable sticker books and I have wanted one of those for a few months now, hoping that she would sell them after selling a sticker storing album recently. I was right for holding out, because she did sell them! I am excited for the new year and where my stickering/planning will go from here. I also just got new piercings and they ache. lol. I think that is the last time that I get more than 1 at a time. I hope the new year is treating everyone well. I know this is really late, but 2020 was a busy confusing year for most of us.
I got the same design for my sticker album. I like the pink marble style. I will be using this for when I have a few stickers left on a page. I can peel off the leftover stickers and add them to my book. It is a great way to keep and use up any leftover stickers.
I also got some freebies with my order. This free sample is really cute. I cannot wait to use it for my Christmas spread.
I think these flat lays are cute, but they aren’t my thing.
I love foil and these are cute, even though they are not functional.
I love these practical script stickers.
More samples that are practical and cute.
The last freebie sample and it is pretty.
I needed some cleaning stickers for when there is a big stack of dishes to wash, vacuuming to be done (Using done by Martin), laundry, light cleaning, folding, and mopping (Martin swiffers). I just wanted a few stickers as these activities can take up a huge chunk of my time/day.
These Chores Girls are adorable. I wanted more stickers for the things that I do around the house. These should last for a while as some of these things are not done every week or are rarely done by me and is Martin’s responsibility.
I wanted to increase my activity level with consistent exercise. I am at 30 minutes every other day. I am hoping to build it up to 45 min every other day. I have already lost 5lbs during the holiday season by doing 30 min every other day for a month. These stickers will help me to reach my goals and I plan on getting more exercise/fitness related stickers once I’m down to my last sheet (not necessarily this sheet as I have a fuckton of fitness stickers right now).
I am involved in an every other Sunday game night that runs from 7:30 to 11:30 at night. That is 4 hours out of my night. I wanted good stickers to represent that game night. I like that these are large and takes up half on my EC vertical boxes, because the event is 4 hours long. I would buy bigger stickers if they made them as it would better fill the whole box.
I didn’t really get to use any of these stickers, because we were quarantined that last two weeks leading up to Christmas. We didn’t get a chance to buy our tree or do much of any of this. I am hoping to use up all the rest of these stickers next Christmas.
I currently have this sticker pasted onto my January notes page before the month. I want to keep track of all the movies that we watch in 2021. This way, it can also be far as I can keep track of who picked one and who gets the next choice. If anyone of us mentions wanting to watch a movie, I can also write it here, so we don’t forget what we want to watch.
I love the Feb monthly kit! I have already stickered in the base calendar with the holidays and the pay days. There is actually a box missing to cover up the 30th day from Jan. I love the bright color scheme and how happy it looks.
I love the bright icons a ton! I do have 2 sick days that I can use in Feb and I think I would have earned 1 or 2 PTO days by then as well. I plan on taking V-Day off if we are in person. I also plan on catching up on all of Dean’s and I’s doctor appointments/dentists/others. 2021 is going to be a catch up year for sure.
I love these whole kit. I am glad the numbers are black a the rest of the kit is super colorful. They would have been lost on the spread if they were colorful as well.
I love the decorate sidebar, but I am moving to the checklist for school moving forward. I didn’t have a kit for Jan and my whole month of school assignments fit in the side bar. I will be selecting the sidebar up through August. After August, I will be graduated and hopefully on a Daily Duo by then. I would be back to the decorative side bar by that time.
I purchased a weekly kit for $20. I was curious to see how much of a value I was getting for my money. I am really a fan of no white space or limited white space. I cannot afford to be no white space all the time, but these kits make it possible for me to get a spread with very little white space. I really loved how pretty this kit was and I couldn’t wait until the winter time to use it! I ended up using it during the Fall in November and I haven’t looked back since. Looking at the spread now, I am still just as in love with it. I love the way that I plan. Right now, it is more of a memory planner, but in the future, I plan on it being more functional for me where I can have my list pad in my planner, an hourly layout for appointments, and space for stickers all in one planner.
The overview of using my weekly kit. I did add a couple of stickers from my own collection, but this is mostly the weekly kit. It is so pretty, I can’t even.
I don’t have a ton of stuff to get done everyday. I don’t document my whole life. I like to just focus on the highlights or high priority items. I do want to move to a more functional format, but I do love these decorative memory spreads.
I ended up taking a sick day this week, because Dean had a tummy upset due to his molars coming in. The end of the week was busier for me as I procrastinate my homework.
I was able to get a good chunk of a 2nd week out of this kit. I still have plenty of leftovers that I will show at the end of this blog post. I really like the way that this week looks as well. I am a fan of soft pastels.
This was a much busier week and I felt more productive as well. I was a big fan of the deco in this kit. The cat and candle sticks are adorable.
I love looking back on my planner and seeing everything I was able to accomplish. I was accepted to my 3rd National Honor Society in college this week.
I only had two stickers of deco left on this sheet that are long since used up.
I have plenty of check lists and scripts with deco leftover to use in future spreads.
I still have a few headers and little things to use in other spreads.
There are a couple of boxes on this sheet leftover.
There are a couple of lists and a box leftover.
One box leftover that has since been used up.
Empty sheet.
Mostly full sheet.
Empty Sheet.
Overall, I think $20 is worth it if you have the extra cash to spend. However, I will buy these kits when they are 50% off for $10 as I don’t think they are worth $20. I did enjoy using them and I would buy more weekly kits again, just not at full price.
I received another Influenster box a few months back with a VERY expensive Dior product in there. I got the Dior DreamSkin Primer. I am so happy and so grateful to have gotten a $120 USD product that I would NEVER buy on my own. I would NEVER spend so much on a SINGLE makeup item. I do spend that much at times on perfume, but that is about it. Even my most expensive face palette is $80 USD.
I am not going to lie. The packaging is gorgeous and I love that this is a pump! I love the baby pink with the silver accents. However for the price, I was expecting this to be glass, but it is just hard plastic. It sorta cheapens the experience for me. This is a dream. My face is perfected in the prettiest way. I even used this on my fiancé and he was impressed on how good his skin looked. It is slightly tinted and it blurs imperfections like a dream. It fills on pores, even the rather large ones on my nose. It smells like baby powder. I highly recommend this product if you can afford it. If I could afford it, I would purchase it. As such, it is WAY out of my price range. It is very beautiful on the skin though. For my oily skin, it acts as a moisturizer and a primer for makeup. I never end up putting makeup on top though. I use this for those no makeup days. Overall, It is very expensive, but for a reason.
I didn’t manage to use up much in September, but October’s bag feels full. I have high hopes for the last month. Plus, going back to work at the end of October is getting me back into using makeup and skincare routinely again. It has been a very rewarding experience to state the least. Although, I am still suffering a bad case of bronchitis after a month of first contracting it. I didn’t use up any makeup in September and I barely will move the monetary amount by much this month. It was a very stressful month for me, because by the end, I decided to look for employment elsewhere.
Recap from September:
Total Makeup Products Used Up or Hit Pan In: 5/20
Total Monetary Amount for 2020: $745.98
I used up a body cream sample and some eye pads. The eye pads were nice, but were mostly dried out by the time that I used them. The eye pads were worth $3.60. The sample of the Glow Recipe Avocado Sleeping Mask was really nice and I would consider purchasing it once I use up my current sleeping mask. I used up another WEI mud mask. I get 5 -6 masks per pod for $5.25. I really like these, but I would not repurchase at the high price.
Total Monetary Amount for 2020: $754.83
I used up a sample of my hair gummies that I enjoy.
I used up two sheets of stickers. With my growing sticker collection, it is very important to me to note how many sticker sheets I am using up a month. This will justify future sticker purchases.
I am so close at reaching my 1K goal that I really think that I am going to reach it this year. I have been concentrating on products on their last legs, so hopefully, I can get enough out to equal that 1K. I will start using my dry shampoo again. I have quite a few travel sizes, so I am sure that I can use a few cans up within the next couple of months. I don’t have much hope in reaching my makeup goals, but I will try again next year.
I made a smallish purchase at Victoria Secrets for a few Christmas presents and a few things that I needed for myself. I needed more hand sanitizer and some body wash. There was a sale going on and I had a $10 off coupon that I decided to use with my VS card. I also grabbed a couple of things that I didn’t need, but that always happens to me when I shop. Now, let’s get onto the haul!
I really enjoy the VS body scrubs, so I wanted to get another one to use up in the shower. I do have half of a container left and one more bag of scrub waiting to be used. I know that I will be using this up next, so I don’t feel bad that this will sit for a bit. I am getting MUCH better at getting rid of my backstash and only buying an item if I have 1 or none left. This is a honey scrub and I hope it has a nice consistency.
This exploded slightly into the cap. This is the body wash that I purchased as I used up my last one. This has a nice light scent and it does well at moisturizing my skin. This will last me through to the end of the year. I am hoping to pickup some B&BW body wash with my candles during their Black Friday sale.
I love that this is a spray on hand sanitizer and in a fresh, light coconut scent. I need to use up the drags of three different hand sanitizers first before cracking this bad boy open. I like to use hand sanitizer between light tasks like changing a diaper, but I will wash my hands before handling food and after cleaning Creag’s litter box.
My daughter and I got matching lip oils. These are wet looking as they are an oil, but absorb quickly. I don’t notice the micro shimmer on my lips. This is great to wear under a face mask as it won’t stain and absorbs quickly, so no mask sticking to your lips. They smell like cotton candy though and it is delightful.
It has been a hot minute, since the last time that I have done a haul. This is just one of a few that I have been compiling over the last month or so and I am just getting around to writing about. I am super excited to have gotten some new planner supplies. I am still afraid to use all of it, because I don’t want to use them up. lol. Silly, I know, but I enjoy looking at them as much as I do actually using them. I also spent less than $50 on this haul. I saved about $150 with this sale. I do not know the prices that I paid for each item as EC only gives the full listed price, not the prices of the items when you actually purchased them.
The welcome pack above came with a bunch of gift labels, which was a nice touch.
I bought a coil pack of the minis. I want to be able to insert things into my planner when the mood strikes me or if I need to put something in there. I got these to put in keepsake photos, tickets, papers, etc. Just anything that I want or need to have in there that isn’t a sticker. lol
I didn’t realize that these were calligraphy pens or “brush” pens. I am going to have some fun with these pens in cards and gifts. These bleed through the planner pages, so these were not made to use in the planner. I wish the fine tips wouldn’t bleed through.
So, I really enjoy functional stickers. I knew I wanted to have a pack. I have been using the “month” colors in the correct month and it has been really fun to have matching stickers in the same color scheme as the month.
I look forward to use the “To Pay” stickers for big milestones like paying off a credit card or something that I only pay for once a year to really mark the occasion. I love the rose gold foil the best out of all the foils.
I need to utilize these type of stickers more, especially when I don’t have a lot going on that day. These would take up a bunch of white space. Great stickers to mark a planning session or a day at work that doesn’t utilize much tasks.
These check lists and full boxes are going to be really fun to play with and I cannot wait to add them to my planner.
I wanted Holiday stickers for Christmas, so I can add some nice accents all month long.
These would be great for marking when we buy a Christmas tree or buy presents. You could use these deco icons to symbolize a lot of things that you can do during the holiday season. The mitten would even be cute as marking the first snow angel or snowman. This sticker sheet gives me happy vibes.
I needed some stickers for pets now that we have Creag. I can mark when I make his food, take him to the vet, and the groomers.
I love these puffy stickers, because I am a child. lol I cannot wait to use these! Since I scoop his litter everyday, I don’t need any reminder stickers for that. I like that it has these fun stickers with some functional ones as well.
I want to get back into exercising and fitness. I want to get a step counter to make sure that I am getting my steps in. I figure having these stickers might inspire me to do more than just sit on my butt all day.
There are two identical sheets in this pack. I like that I can use some of these for meal planning as well as fitness. I enjoy the mix of inspirational quotes as well.
I needed more shopping and meal planning stickers. I have been feeling more energy lately and I am ready to get back into some home cooking.
Again, there are two identical sheets in this pack. I should be good until the end of the year with these two pages.
This looked like a fun set, so I purchased it.
I didn’t like this sheet, so I am giving it to someone I know who loves llamas.
I thought these stickers looked interesting and could add something special to the spread. You can also never have too many habit trackers.
I am a big fan of quotes and most of these are large. These might be great to use on the functional pages after the month calendar and before the weekly pages. Some of these will fit in the boxes, but the others are too big for the daily boxes.
Like with Christmas, I wanted some deco for my New Years spread to make the week really pretty, but these are also stickers that can be used for other celebrations like the 4th of July.
I am a sucker for foil and this clear sticker sheet does not disappoint. I am going to have a lot of fun with it in a few months.
These holographic stickers just looks cool as hell! These stickers might be the first to disappear. I have already used one of them in my first week in my new planner.
I tried to capture another photo where you can read most of the stickers. They are just so pretty and I just can’t get over it.
I love planning, so I had to get the love to plan sticker pack. That is a no brainer. These pastel stickers are super pretty and girly. I wanna use them all!!!
These remind me of candy hearts at Valentine’s Day. I think some of these will be around to use for that day as well as it is also Martin and I’s anniversary of when I proposed to him.
OMG! I just can’t get over this sheet. It has everything that I love.
I love the pastels of this pack. All of the light hues really work together.
I only purchased one of these books and I had a second one tossed into my order. This is about a $15.50 value that I did not expect to get for free. It was quite the great surprise.
I love the quote boxes. I have used a few of these already.
I love the watercolor design of the stickers. You can never have too many flags and I like to use mine as headers as well.
More flags, but in the Silver Foil this time.
I haven’t figured out how I am going to use these stickers yet, but I think I will use them as bottom washi and for decorating the monthly spread. I’ll be stretching my brain to use these up though.
I used the beautiful watercolor sticker as my bottom washi for this week. I couldn’t not use it. It is so beautiful!
I love these full boxes. I cannot wait to use these in my planner to add some pizazz to it.
In the Rose Gold foil, a mixture of flags and functional stickers. I’m excited to use these as well! I am excited to use all of my stickers and they all give me a thrill of excitement just looking at them.
Not my favorite sheet, but I will definitely use these stickers. I’m just not a fan of how they look. They almost look childish and not in the same style as the rest of the stickers is further off-putting.
Another practical sheet that I will enjoy using.
I am a super fan of quotes and script. These will be used to their fullest.
Again, while I like these stickers, these are a bit childish and not in the same vein as the rest of the Erin Condren stickers in the book.
A better look at the Rose Gold Foil, which is my favorite.
I like these stickers better than the more “childish” ones, but they still aren’t my favorite.
I ordered one set of the colorful kaleidoscope theme and I got two sets.
These are super pretty and I have already utilized them in my planner. I like to use them to mark important events or activities that take up a good part of the day as they do take up a good amount of room in the planner.
Again, I am a sucker for flags and this will give me the motivation that I need to use up some of the habit trackers that I have. This week, I definitely want to do some reading as I will have a lot of free time until my teaching job starts. I don’t want to waste the majority of the week of time all to myself.
I enjoy the amount of birthday stickers and deco this sheet has. I have many birthdays to celebrate and I like to mark it on my monthly and weekly spread, so I go through a lot of birthday stickers.
I have used almost all of the orange for the October monthly spread. I like being able to match the monthly theme with corresponding colored stickers.
I also got the identical set in the neutral colors, because I was loving all of the pastels and the cooler colors.
I wanted some more coordinating stickers with the monthly color scheme. This is a nice mix of practical icons and headers. I have almost used up all of the orange stickers for October.
I wouldn’t get this sheet again, but I bought it so I will use it.
I love my personalized Hello Kitty cover that I put on the notebook that I am using for my new teaching position. I took it to two interviews with me, so it’s my good luck charm.
I took off the cover to use my Hello Kitty one, but I do think this is a pretty color as well.
I already tore the stickers out from the back of the notebook to use in my planner. I don’t tend to use stickers in my notebook.
I am very happy with my little haul and I have two more yet to share with all of you. Plus, I just bought some stickers from a new sticker shop that I am obsessed with. I’ll also be buying more stickers from her for sure.
This is actually my last FITFABFUN box. It isn’t because I didn’t like the products or anything like that. If my situation changes, I would love to go back to it again. Right now, I have too many products sitting in my stash to use up currently to justify keeping the subscription right now. I also have purchased a pure bred Maine Coon male kitten that cost a lot of money. It also costs a lot of money to get all the starter supplies for owning a cat and I am planning on feeding the cat raw, which is more work and only slightly more expensive than dry food. I had to buy a pure bred as these ones are specifically bred to produce low allergens, so people with allergies can own a cat. My dear Martin is very allergic to animals, so I am hoping this cat will be good for him. We get to pick him up at the end of the month. Without further ado, here is the FITFABFUN summer unboxing!
Mason Ceramic Reed Diffuser – Solstice, $59
We are using this diffuser in our bathroom and it smells lovely in there all the time. We can even skip spraying after using the bathroom as after a minute or two, the diffuser covers any unpleasant smells in the bathroom. I am really happy with this diffuser and I would buy essential oil refills to keep this one going. I am guessing that you would probably need new rods as well with a new refill of oil. 100% worth it and it looks classy.
COOLA Mineral Face Organic Matte Finish Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30, $36
I ran out of face sunscreen, so this came at a perfect time. I have been using it on my face and Jenna’s when we go to the lake to go swimming. I even put it on Dean’s little face, so he doesn’t get burned as well. I keep this in Dean’s diaper bag for anytime that we go out. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, I am not going anywhere, so I don’t need to apply sunscreen everyday. It’s been stormy and raining as well. Also, if I am going out for 20 to 30 minutes, I will not wear sunscreen, so I get the proper amount of sun to process Vitamin D. Longer than that, I am slathering on sunscreen to go out in.
Winky Lux UNI-BROW UNIVERSAL EYEBROW PENCIL, $16
I don’t do my eyebrows really. Also, they are very grown out due to the pandemic. In both photos, I only did one brow. I can really tell a difference with how polished my right eye brow is (left when viewing pics, but its my right brow). It is a good eye brow pencil for an amateur like me as it is pretty fool proof. Once places start to open up, I would consider getting my brows down and would use this pencil for a more precise look.
Spongelle COCONUT VERBENA | HAND CREAM, $18
This hand cream smells really nice, but we are still going through another hand cream. This will be the next one that we use. Hand cream is one of those things that is always nice to have around as our hands are drying out due to the use of hand sanitizer and more cleaning than usual because of the pandemic.
Makeup Drop Hybrid Sponge, $20
It has been a hot minute since the last time that I have used a makeup sponge. I have not used this, so I cannot give an opinion yet. I am hoping the silicone side will be good for spreading product and the sponge will be good for blending. I also might try to use this sponge for baking as well. This heat is making my skin oily as hell. lol
Grace & Stella Hyaluronic Acid Serum, $25
I am using this as my day time serum and I do like it. It is very runny and takes a few minutes to sink into the skin. I think I would just purchase another serum from Marshalls for $10 that does the same thing. It is a very basic serum, so I would never pay full price for this. It is nice if you have the money to spend on it. I haven’t noticed that it has added more hydration to my skin, but it is nice to use and pamper yourself.
I do not think that this is $120 good. It is a nice face oil, but it feels the same as sunflower seed oil or sesame seed oil. I haven’t noticed a huge difference in my skin when I use this. I would not repurchase it. I will use it up though. I use an oil a few nights a week as I rotate through other treatments during the week as well. I only use this at night. It is way too oily for daytime use.
Silked Satin Pillow Sleeve, $69.50
I gave this one to my mom as she had picked this one and it didn’t come in her box. She switched with me for the wireless phone charger that is super cute. I would never pay that much on a pillow case though.
Too Faced Hangover Good in Bed Hydrating Serum, $39
I bought the Too Faced pack for $18 and boy was it a steal! I use this serum if I am doing my makeup in the morning. I have used this only a couple of times, since I got it. I haven’t been out much, but I do love how this feels on the skin. It has more substance than the other hydrating serum that I got in my box. I love Too Faced as the products are really good and cutsey. I can see myself buying this again, especially if I can get this on sale. I might not pay full price, but I have only used it a couple of times so far.
Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Setting Spray, $32
I use this when I use my Too Faced serum. I like to use all my Too Faced products together. I actually haven’t opened this one yet as I am using up a previous setting spray that is really intense and I don’t like as much first. I cannot make any comments on this spray yet. I would pay this much for a setting spray though. It seems a full size lasts me 3 months of constant use. I think it is worth getting a good one that I like for a higher price.
Overall, this box was worth $434.50, which is an amazing value. I look forward to the time when I can pickup this box again. I want to use up a good part of my body products before subscribing again. I seem to get a lot of moisturizers and face products. I really need to use up what I have first. When I run out of a bunch of categories, that will be when I get it again. Probably in a year from now.
