January Beauty Bag

month

These are all the items that I am using in the month of January. I am hoping to use up some of these items, but I want to see progress on everything this month and every month. If I don’t use it, I declutter it. If I don’t like it, I declutter it. I have a serum, a primer, a blush, an eye shadow trio, an eye liner and a perfume. Oh, and a lipstick! I really am enjoying the blush and I have already popped the stopper out of the liquid lipstick. I will let you know if I use up anything, hit pan, or declutter in my February bag post. The liquid lipstick is a my lips but better color and is so easy to wear. It fades naturally and doesn’t look awkward at all.

December Sephora Play!

The last box of the year and it came on December 23rd. Seriously. I usually get my box from 10-20. I feel like it took FOREVER! Okay, I’ll stop complaining. lol. I really do love the Sephora Play subscription that I get every month. Some months are better than others, but overall, I think you get good bang for your tenner. I might not use everything immediately, but I am happy to try everything that I can. I am rotating through my makeup collection and making it a big priority next year that if I don’t love something, I give it away. If it is too old, throw it out. If I’m not loving it, it isn’t worth the effort to use it up or pan it.

IMG_3299

I love the bag! It is very cute, but I really don’t have a need. I usually just donate these bags away to be recycled and proceeds goes towards a local charity. I’m actually going to be using my card, because I am hitting up Sephora. I want to buy something during the 20% off sale and possibly cash in some points.

hair

Drybar Triple Sec, 0.35 oz for $2.17

This is a 12th of the full size, so to me it seems like a tiny sample. I would have at least liked to have seen a half of an ounce for a hair product. This will probably only be a couple of uses. I have to use a lot of dry shampoo to soak up the second day oil in my hair. It gets oily super fast. I think it smells nice and I cannot wait to use it once I use up my Not Your Mother’s dry shampoo. So far, I really love the Amika Perk Up dry shampoo for my hair. I don’t have to put a ton in and it really works.

perfume

Stella McCartney perfume sample

I love that this is a natural rose scent. I’ve been really into rose scents lately. I would love to receive a foil packet instead of a perfume every other month though. I haven’t gotten one yet and I would really like to. I have too many perfume samples at the moment since I’m trying to work through a bottle of perfume.

eye

Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen, 0.34 g for $7

I’m going to say that this is a third of the full size, since I cannot find how much is in a pen anywhere. I look forward to using this when I don’t currently have an eye liner open. I am trying to use up a black and glitter eye liner. I’m pulling it out in January, so we shall see if it is still good or not. I’ll be blogging about my makeup clearing journey, so you guys won’t miss a beat. Subscription bags are great, but if I don’t like it, I’m not going to be keeping them around anymore.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Matte Au Natural, 1 g for $17.40

This is more than half of a full size! It is pretty close to a full size and way more than half. I am very pleased with the amount of product in this one. This is a nude color that I will be using all of the time. I actually prefer to work with cream shadows, so I am excited to try this out in my January rotation. If it wears nicely on my eyes, I will be very happy. Eye shadow creases on my hooded eyes like crazy, especially creams. I had a hard time getting rid of the swatch so I have high hopes for this one. I would work this on the lid and crease and pop a bright eye shadow on the lid.

eye cream

Caudalie Vine[Activ] Energizing & Smoothing Eye Cream, 0.16 fl oz for $13

This is a third of the full size of eye cream, so I am happy that it is a really decent sized eye cream sample. It takes me a while to go through eye cream. I almost never need to buy it, because these samples carry me throughout most of the year. I am curious about this brand, but I feel like the beauty world is over it. I’d like to try more of it. I really love the beauty elixir, but I can buy a Smashbox Primer Water for less and get more. I feel like they are overpriced and trying to be luxury.

MUFE Artist Rouge Creme Lipstick Fuchsia Pink, 0.04 oz for $7.34

Another generous size for being a third of the full size. This lipstick is super soft. While I love the purple pink color, the bullet is already being smashed around inside of the tube. I would not buy a full size of this. I will be pulling it out in the spring and summer, but this really isn’t a winter color. I would have appreciated a soft pink or a winter berry.

$46.91 is the total value of this box. I would give this box 3 out of 5 stars, because of the great value and I’m not excited for the lipstick and the black liner. I am excited to see what the next year brings to the Sephora Play! box. I have been really happy with the items that I have received this year. I plan on going through my collection soon and getting rid of the samples that I didn’t enjoy.

Sephora Play! September

I am not going to lie. I was a bit disappointed with what I got in this Sephora Play. Nothing really wowed me. I did get some exciting brands, but not the items that I would have wanted from that brand. I will still use everything that I got, but I hope next month will bring an exciting product or two. The theme was Fall Into Beauty and I have to say, I really love the bag this month and I’ll be using it for my monthly beauty bag for this upcoming month at least.

The red polka dots on the Play! Card are very reminiscent of Minnie Mouse for me. How can you not love that bright silky hot pink bag though? It’s an ultra girly color with such a cute saying on the front.

My free perfume sample had two perfumes from Clean in it. I wish I could have gotten a foil sample instead, which Sephora will now be doing in addition to the perfume sample. You will either get perfume or a foil packet. I am personally all for the foil packet. I have too much perfume to begin with without having all these samples around.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black 0.25 ml for $11

This is half of the full size making this a generous sample and I am excited to try this out. Everyone loves this eyeliner. I just wish I could have gotten a full color instead of black. I have too many blacks and I tend to use colored ones more often than black. I don’t even use eye liners that often either. I have a different liquid black eyeliner that I should use up first, but I look forward to the day that I can try this one out. I can practice my cat eye or just line my waterline. It will be used eventually.

DevaCurl Melt Into Moisture Matcha Butter Conditioning Mask 1.5 fl oz for $6.75

hair

I will have to wait until I use up my Lush hair masks, but this one does sound promising. My hair has been getting curlier since I’ve stopped coloring it a year ago. Gosh, I cannot believe that it’s been a year and 4 months since I bleached my hair. Now, it is a brassy mess and blonde is too much upkeep for me right now. I intend on chopping off most of the blonde. Once I’m all my natural hair color, I will see what I want to do with it. I’m thinking temporary washout color for when I need a boost. I’ll probably will get to trying this out next year. I think I still have like 6 uses out of each Lush hair mask that I have remaining that will go bad if I don’t use them. I use them GENEROUSLY and they still lasted like two years.

Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb 10 ml for $7.60

I was so excited about this until I looked at the back and saw just how little product would be in there. I still want to try this out immediately. My skin has been flaking like crazy these past few days, because I left a face mask with sulfur on for too long and it dried out my skin bad. It could have been from my retinal moisturizer, but I only used that twice every other night and I didn’t show any signs of sensitivity. I’ll be only using that mask on my nose for now or use it for only 10 minutes on the T-zone. I’m hoping this moisturizes my flaky skin and that it stops peeling soon.

Benefit Gimme Brow #3 1 g for $8

This is a third of the full size, so between this one and the other one I have, I have a full size gimme brow. I don’t really do my eye brows, but I have been because I have it. I don’t need to buy a brow product. I have naturally thick brows. I need to get them reshaped, but otherwise than that, they are in really good shape. I will use this up after I finish my opened tube. I don’t care for this product, because I really don’t need it. Only waxing will shape my brows. I have too much eye brow rather than too little.

Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour in Happy 0.09 oz for $21

This is almost a full size and totally worth the $10 price tag for the box. I was scared at first that it was going to be super pigmented, but it is very buildable. You can do a sheer wash of color or full on glam demonstrated by my swatches. It is such a pretty color and I will be pulling it out for the holidays. I might even wear it at work since it’s such a friendly formula. It has a semi matte look and feels comfortable on the lips. I always put a balm underneath my lip sticks, so it may not be as comfortable if you don’t prep with a balm before hand. I love the subtle metallic finish. It is more of a shimmery effect than a metallic one. I find metallic colors to be unflattering for the most part.

The value of my September box is $54.35!! I think this is one of the highest valued boxes, but I feel meh about it. I would give this box 2 stars. I’m really only excited for the lip stick, but I gave another star for the value of this box. Sephora Play is a worthwhile subscription to me. I get beauty treats every month for $10 and build up my makeup collection for cheap. If I had a daughter, I would get this for her. It’s great for beginners or for the beauty adventurer that loves to try out everything without breaking the bank.

Sephora Play: April 2017

I am super excited for this month’s mostly skincare box.  I am a skin care fanatic, so I am not complaining about this box. I’d rather have more skincare than makeup any day. I know there has been people complaining about the lack of makeup, but two out of five were makeup related. I don’t think the box was too unbalanced. I recieved this box during the week. I always seem to get it on the third week of the month, which gives me less than 14 days to use my extra 50 points card. If they took the cards online, then it wouldn’t be a problem. I haven’t used the card once, because the closest Sephora is an hour away. It’s only worth it if I am going clothes shopping, which I am doing next week. Expect a huge clothing haul and another small Sephora haul next weekend.

I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of the bag. I decided to use this bags to hold little gifts for the people I work with. One might be promoted to supervisor, so I might add a couple of goodies to this bag and give it to her for congratulations.

Daisy by Marc Jacobs 1.2 ml for $3.86

I really like the scent of this perfume on me and I would consider buying a full size if I couldn’t get my hands on the Donna Karen perfume that I want. I’m not sure that the perfume is selling anymore. Just did a quick search and Macy’s still carries it. I still will consider this perfume though. I would like to have just four perfumes, one for each season. I might bend the rules and get this one though. I need to finish up a few perfumes first. If I finish 6 this year or close to it, I will buy a perfume during the November Sephora sale.

Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover 25 ml for $3.75

This eye makeup remover is really affordable! If this works well and doesn’t sting my eyes, I will be repurchasing it. I am always on the hunt for a good eye makeup remover that I don’t have to really rub or tug at my eyes with. I’ve been using my Garnier micellular water, but I need something a bit more heavy duty. Hopefully, this doesn’t irritate my eyes and actually works to remove stubborn mascara.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream 7.5 ml for $8.13

face

So far, this is the most expensive item in the box and I am really excited for it. I love light weight moisturizers. Right now, I have a day and night cream that I don’t really like by Derma E. They are way too heavy for my skin that I only use both at night. Once I’m done with the Glam Glow illuminating moisturizer that I use all over my face and make sure to powder, I will crack open this baby and see if it is light as a cloud but very hydrating. I enjoy Peter Thomas Roth products for the most part. I just think that most of his products are overpriced and that only his masks are really worth it.

Make Up Forever Aqua XL Eye Pencil in M-10 Black for 0.01 oz for $5.25

This is a fourth of the size of the full size, which is very generous for an eye pencil. I will not be using this, so I did not swatch it. Anything I don’t like/want from my subscription box that is makeup, I will be selling to this company that I heard about through Youtube. You send them at least 10 makeup products that is on their list (mostly brands sold at Sephora) and they tell you the low to the highest that you can get for your items. You send it in a prepaid envelope and wait for the check in the mail. It is that easy. You aren’t going to get the best price for your new/gently used makeup, but at least, it’s something. I don’t need another black eye liner. I have to many and I don’t use eye liner, because I don’t have a sharpener. Really need to pick one up at the store next week. I still need to go through about 10 that I own though. I also don’t like black eye liner. I much prefer a color. I only use black in my water line.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer 0.25 fl oz for $8

primer

I haven’t tried this primer yet, but I love silicone primers to fill in my pores. I only use primer in my t-zone, where my makeup wears off. This will last me a couple of months of use, I think. I don’t wear makeup everyday, but I love to just minimize my pores everyday. I always use a primer like this and my face looks much smoother. I enjoy trying out new stuff, but I have like three primers before this to use up. I have two illuminating ones, so I might still crack this one out earlier if I want a more matte look. I have been loving the dewy/glowy look lately. I’m surprised by how much I love the glam glow powdered down. Still won’t purchase that, but if this Smashbox doesn’t break me out, I would buy it.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate 0.25 fl oz for $12

I’ve been wanting to try something from Kate Somerville for a long time (hello goatmilk moisturizer) and I am so glad that I received this in the box. I love to use an exfoliating cleanser in the shower, so that’s where this sample will live. I only wash my hair twice a week, which is the perfect amount of times to use this product a week. It is a green cleanser that smells like green tea and mint. This is such a pampering product and the one that I am most excited for.

I really loved this month’s box and I believe that this one had more value than last month due to the focus on skincare. I hope next month has an SPF product in it. I will have to dig through my products to find some facial SPF or I will need to buy some. May is almost here and I use SPF from May to October. So, 5 months out of the year, I wear facial SPF like actual spf. Most of my products have spf in it. I want to buy and SPF spray for the face. I think that would be cool.

This box was worth $40.99. That is such an amazing value! I am happy with 4 out of 5 products, so this month only gets four stars instead of 5. It is still amazing. I am just not happy with the eye liner, if it was in a different color, I would have saved it. I am putting it in my to sell pile though.

Too Faced

For Too Faced Starry-Eyed Liquid Eyeliner in Super Freak

What It Is:

A glitter liquid eyeliner.

Key Ingredients:

Doesn’t say on the tube. 😦

How It Looks/Feels/Applies:

It is a multi-glitter eye liner, but it is mostly pink and purple. It gives an overall hot pink look. It feels cooling going on and is easy to apply in just one stroke. You get a consistent glitter line and can build up the glitter intensity. It is a clear formula. The color comes from the glitter.

Why I Like It:

I love how easy it is to apply and the color payoff. I would definitely buy another one of these, possibly two: a normal color and another glitter one. I bought this for around 15 USD on Amazon. These usually go for 25 USD and I would even buy them at that price, because it lasted me a good few years. It is very rare for me to finish up a makeup product and I really loved this one. I cannot wait to have some spare change to get a couple more. I’m also loving my Elizabeth Arden glitter eyeliner in black.

January Birchbox Thoughts

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

This has really been a long time coming and the next three reviews/thoughts are sure to come some time soon. These posts usually take me an hour to write, because I have to research how much my actual samples cost and I like to be as accurate as possible. I cannot wait to resubscribe in March, since that is approximately when I will be back to working after my leave. I won’t be able to afford it on leave, when I only get 75% of my paycheck a week. So, without further ado, let’s get into it.

BirchboxBirchbox

Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45+, 5 ml for 3.40 USD

bb creambb creambb cream

This actually matches my skin almost perfectly. It makes my skin color too pink though. I naturally have a yellow undertone and too much pink just makes me looked between flushed and like my face is a bit red/irritated. I love everything else about this product though. If only they had a undertone that would suit my skin better. It is so hard to find any kind of base that matches perfectly. Most of mine are way too orange for my complexion. A review will coming soon on this, since I recently finished it off.

Harvey Prince Sincerely, 1.5 ml for 4.30 USD

perfumeperfume

I love perfume samples and this one was no different. I love that it comes in a spray bottle instead of that dipping stick thing that always ends up spilling out more than what you want. This is a really fresh and clean scent with a bit of sweetness to it. The hint of spicy clove goes very well with the orange flower and tuber rose. I would consider buying the purse spray, if I didn’t already have so many perfumes to use up. I am working on my collection though. I have decided that for every two perfumes that I use up, I can buy one perfume. I have yet to finish up a full sized perfume, so I am no where nears buying a new one…yet. I did finish a purse spray, but I count that as 1/2 of a perfume. So, I am a 1/4 towards my purchase perfume goal.

Sumita Color Contrast Eyeliner in Jaguar Gold, 0.7 g for 5.25 USD

Eye linereyelinereyeliner

I really like the dark gold almost olive color. It brings out the green/gold bits in my eyes and really complements my skin tone. I don’t have another color like this in my collection. It really is quite unique. The formula off the stick is easy to work with on my eye lid. It is not for the waterline. I need a good eyeliner for my waterline, since I find it to be a lot quicker than lining my eyelids. I also never have a sharpener for these things!

Vasanti Cosmetics BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator, 20 g for 6.40 USD

exfoliator

I will have a review coming up on my blog about this product, since I have already finished this product up. I enjoyed using this product, but if I am going to pay 34 USD for an exfoliate, I will be repurchasing my Glam Glow.

Whish Three Whishes Body Butter in Lavender, .75 fl oz for 3.52 USD

body butter

The scent was more oatmeal than lavender, which I was very happy about. I only have a little bit of this left. It is very greasy/heavy, so I’m saving the last little bits for winter time when my hands tend to suck up the oil better. It is a quality lotion, but I think it is too greasy for my taste and I’m not crazy about the scent either.

Well, the total of my box was twice the amount that I paid for clocking in at 22.87 USD. This is one of the cheaper boxes that I got, but I loved the variety of items that I received. It only had one makeup item (not including bb cream b/c I use that everyday), which is great to slowly start a collection. I hope that these subscriptions stick around for a long time. I love the mystery to it and the cheapness of it.

Girl Meets Glitter: November Ipsy

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

I know that I am really far behind on this, but I swear I will be catching up within the next month or so. So, this week, I am breaking down the November Ipsy bag piece by piece and letting you all know my first impression on the product based with playing around with it for a couple of months now. I will be showing you product pictures as well as swatches and how the product looks on my skin/hair. The hair spray will be hard to demonstrate, but I’ll just show you a hair style look that I locked in with this pray and nothing else. You will get the general idea of it at least. I’m just going to jump right into it now!

The Theme:

Mooky

[I thought I had pictures of the November Bag, but I didn’t. I had to go back and take all of the pictures you see in this post very recently. So, to make up for not having the card picture, here’s one of the girl!]

I thought that this was a really great theme that month. You all know me! I’m a sucker for anything glittery or sparkling. So, I was very excited for this theme, however I have to say that the contents of this bag have left me underwhelmed. Only one of the items truly had glitter, one had sparkle, and the other had shine. I was expecting more…glitter. Maybe some loose glitter or something. Did anyone else feel that the bag fell short in the glitter department? Please let me know that I am not the only one. I do think that the card is very pretty though.

The Bag:

Ipsy November

I love the bag!!!! It is so glittery and sparkly. It is absolutely amazing and no wonder why?! It is designed by Forever 21, my favorite brand for just about everything. I give the bag a big 5 out of 5 stars for amazing-ness. This bag will not stop me from unsubscribing though. My last bag will be January and my first Birchbox will be soon. Super excited!

The Contents:

Jcat Wonder Lip Paint in Red Potion, 0.33 oz for 4.99 USD [full sized]:

Lip paint

This stuff is super pigmented and a little bit goes a really long way. This stuff is just as good in my opinion to the original Lip Tar. The lip paint is moisturizing and long lasting. Red Potion is not a true red. It is more of a berry red with purple / blue undertones. I love rocking this lip for a night out or just being fancy on a night in. The tube will honestly last me forever. I just wish that it came with a brush applicator tip to make applying this product less messy. This stains the back of your hands, so use a plate or something to put a dot of product on and dip your lip brush into it. This color is unforgiving if you brush it outside of your lip line. It will feather. You cannot achieve a Kylie Jenner look with this. How I like to apply this is with a q-tip and a paper cup (or a cupcake wrapper). I dot the color on my lips to get the color build up that I want, then throw out the extra. I don’t like to stain my brushes if I can help it.

Ipsy November

I put one dot of product into it and I used like a tenth of that. You really do not need much at all. I then like to use a clear gloss on top using a q-tip as well. I like to get a bit of gloss and rub it and mix it into the color, muting down a bit. I am using the pillowplush lip balm from EM Cosmetics in the color sorbet, which does not even tint my lips so I call it clear.

lip balm

As you can see, I love this balm and have used it multiple times. You can also see by the two pictures that the lip paint goes from a blood red to more of a lighter pink with the aid of this gloss.

Marc Anthony Oil of Moroccan Argan Oil Volume Shine Hair Spray, 1.5 oz for 1.38 USD [sample]:

Hairspray

I loved this product so much I already used up all of it and reviewed it. If you want to read the review to learn more, click HERE. It works well and I would consider purchasing it. Right now, I have four cans of hair spray, so I’m all set.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Base in Submissive, 0.09 oz for 14. 99 [full sized]:

Eye baseEye base

I enjoy this base color. I think that it looks great on its own and you can definitely build it up. I like that I can create a subtle eye look with it or a bold one. It still creases on me, but I have very oily eye lids and have not found a primer that works. This does not crease too bad. As you can see by the photos. If you are looking for something as an everyday eye look, I really enjoy this, but I prefer using my Bare Minerals BB Cream Shadows. It is decent and I like it. If you are looking for something better but pricier, I prefer the Bare Minerals, because they DO NOT crease on me AT ALL. They are not a primer, but they work beautifully.

TEMPTU S/B Highlighter in Pink Pearl, 0.1 fl oz for 2.75 USD [sample]:

Highlighter

I reach for this highlighter on a weekly basis. I like to use this to highlight my cheekbones and the inner corners of my eyes. I, even on occasion, use it as an eye shadow. If I get my eyebrows pluck, I use this as an eye bone highlight as well. Speaking of which, I really need to get my brows done. It has been MONTHS since I got them done last. It’s only like 15 dollars with a 5 dollar tip (I give that if I really love my brows, otherwise it’s 2 or 3). This is a very subtle highlighter, which I quite enjoy. It’s not glittery or sparkly, which is another thing that I love. It just gives a nice sheen.

Elizabeth Mott You’re So FINE Eyeliner in Glitterati, 0.1 oz for 17.99 [full sized]:

EyelinerEye liner

I like the glitter flecks in the eyeliner. It adds an unexpected touch to your basic black. It is a much needed upgrade and this eyeliner is a breeze to apply. It does not take much practice to get the perfect cat-eye that is almost matching, but remember, your eyes are SISTERS not twins. I always have to keep that in mind when I do my makeup. This is great for a glam look or for something more natural. Sometimes, I just apply the eyeliner with no eye shadow, just to be low key about it. It is quite expensive, but I find that liquid liners last for at least 6 months. You do get your money’s worth and I’m always reaching for this.

Well, the grand total for the November bag was 42.10 USD, which is almost 50 USD! I was surprised about the full sized items and very pleased. I really loved this bag, but I had so many disappointing ones. I was ready and excited for Birchbox. I needed a change for the new year. Do you like Birchbox or Ipsy better? Let me know in the comments!

My overall look using all of the mentioned products, plus a few others:

The Final Verdict: NickAk

For NickAk Shimmer Eyeliner in Green

Shimmer EyelinerGreen Nicka KSwatches

What It Is: A metallic, shimmery green eyeliner with angled, pointed rubber tip for easy cat-eyes.

Key Ingredients: This eyeliner doesn’t contain anything irritating, just a ton of dyes which is normal for eye makeup.

How It Feels/Smells/Looks: This eyeliner smells like apple cider vinegar and it is a metallic, shimmery green eyeliner like I stated earlier. It is very opaque. My eyelid hurt after applying this. Because it has a rubber tip, it drags along the lid, creating pain and a bumpy line. This is not a smooth or comfortable application.

Why I Like It: I liked the color, which is about all I liked about this eyeliner. Not only is this a literal pain to apply, but the formula is chunky and flaky. You cannot build it up and as soon as you touch it, it starts to flake apart. I applied this yesterday and about two hours later, I noticed it flaking just from BLINKING. This eyeliner is unbelievably crappy quality and I am just throwing it out. I wouldn’t give it away, because it freaking hurts to apply and it was near my eyeballs. It ain’t sanitary to give away. I am happy to have tried it from Ipsy, but this is going straight into the trash.

Empties: The January Edit

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

It is that time once again to go over all of the empties of this past month. I didn’t use up too many products at all this month. I have so much stuff that it is going to take a while to go through it all. I am pretty happy with the five things that I did manage to use up though. Any amount is a good amount to me and I have a few things that are almost out. So, I think that February is going to be a heavy empties up, just because I am nearing the end of about half a dozen things. It makes me feel good to get rid of a lot of clutter in my life and few things I actually do repurchase. It has to really impress me by the time the last drop is used up. Not many things really impress me that much to repurchase. And some things that do? Well, they no longer make or it is really hard to find. My favorites post will go up tomorrow, so look for it then. I am also uploading the impressions from the February Birchbox Man post later today as well. You can look for that at around 5 to 7 pm Eastern Time.

Avon Moisture Therapy Hand Cream, 1.5 fl oz.

Avon

Impressed? No, not really.

Just Because Daily Essentials Everyday Facial Wipes, 20 ct

Face Wipes

Impressed? No, but they are decent for wiping off my base makeup before cleansing. It also helps that they are very cheap at 1 USD a packet.

Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Optimizing Skin Serum, 0.07 fl oz

[sample foil packet. Not worth a picture really.]

Mai Tai Floral Dress

Cannot Wait until Summer to wear this again!

Impressed? No, nothing special. It felt nice, but I am not really worried about wrinkles yet. Maybe when I’m 30.

Nickak Shimmer Eyeliner in Green, 0.1 oz

Shimmer EyelinerGreen Nicka K

Impressed? NO!!!!! This physically HURT my eyelid every time I tried to apply it and the formula wasn’t worth saving. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

OleHenriksen The Clean Truth Brightening Cleansing Cloths, 10 ct

Wipes

Impressed! Totally! I loved every single one! They are really expensive though at 18 USD for 40 cts. I would love this as a gift or if I wanted to treat myself and use some of my Birchbox points to make the price more reasonable [that’s IF they sell this product]. If I had a 10 USD Sephora gift card, I would pay the extra 8 bucks which is comparable with drugstore versions at 8 USD for around 30 cts.

That is all of my empties from this month and I was only impressed by one product. I would buy the dollars wipes again, just because they are a bargain. If my Kmart doesn’t have any of those in stock, I might get the ELF 3 USD ones instead. Well, that’s it for now!

With Love,

Selena
