Fall Tag Collab W/Ana Marie

I am back with another collaboration Fall Tag with Ana Marie. You can read her answers to this tag HERE. I am really enjoying our month of tags together and reading her responses to these questions. If you guys haven’t already, you should go check out her blog. Ana and I are both doing a 20 by 2020 year long project pan challenge. I also have been invited to join a masking challenge by the New Year. You can look forward to these new posts coming your way soon. So, go follow Ana Marie, so when she start her 20 by 2020, you can follow along for the year. I will also be having an updated makeup/beauty collection blog post series in the New Year. I am also posting an updated morning and evening skin care routine, now that the cold air has set in. There will be some new, interesting posts on my blog again. I feel like some posts are getting tiring, but some refreshing new ones will brighten it up again. Let’s get to the tag!

I didn’t dress up for Halloween this year or last year. I don’t dress up for Halloween. I am sure when Dean gets older, we will do the whole trick or treat then, but dressing up just seems like a waste of money for me. Why do adults dress up if they are not going to a costume party? If I had a party to go to, I would, but I’m very antisocial.

What is a fall themed food? Umm…..I like pumpkin pie! I love pumpkin pie, but it has to be REAL pumpkin. None of that canned crap for me! I buy a REAL sweet pumpkin, got it, scoop out the pumpkin, and use it in my pie. It’s the secret to why everyone loves my pumpkin pie and why it tastes “pumpkiny”. So, yeah, I LOVE pumpkin pie and it is my favorite fall food.

I don’t have any Fall traditions really. Unless you count watching the end of the baseball season every year and watching Hallmark movies most nights at our house. We don’t go apple picking every year or go chop down a tree. It’s nice to not be so constrained by traditions, especially outdated ones. I like not feeling the pressure to do some tradition that I don’t care about. Thanksgiving is always something done my way as well. Usually, its some of the traditional fare that is home cooked, but I don’t feel the need to have EVERYTHING. I usually make a small turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce (in the can is to DIE for), rolls, real butter, homemade pumpkin pie, whipped cream, sweet pickles, stuffed olives, and sweet potatoes. Simple, but really good.

I don’t listen to any certain music in the Fall. At the moment, I am really into the band Starset and I will have a haul related to that to share as soon as the package is in my hands. But, I listen to whatever I want. I REFUSE to listen to Christmas music until December, before that is BLASPHEMY!

I don’t really watch spooky movies and I do not have a favorite. I recently watched the whole season of Cloak and Dagger and I enjoyed that a lot. It isn’t a movie, but it for sure had spooky elements that I enjoyed.

Pumpkin pie all the way. S’Mores are for late summer nights. I love s’mores during the summer, but when the pumpkins are out, it is pie all the way.

I am a hot chocolate girl all the way. I haven’t found any hot apple cider that I like. I enjoy cold apple cider from time to time, but we usually get that around Christmas. Near Thanksgiving, we get the sparkling cider that is SUPER expensive. On a regular basis during the fall, I love hot chocolate and I usually try all different kinds.

Yes, I do like PSLs. Do I buy them? No. If I am in the mood for one, I will buy something at the store and make it at home or at the office. They don’t float my boat, but I don’t hate them. If I am buying a coffee out, it will be a peppermint mocha during this season.

Well, this is not Fall related. My favorite day of the year is my son’s birthday, because he was/is the greatest gift that I have ever been given. No matter how difficult he is and how much I worry about him, he is the best gift ever and nothing can/will change that. He’s my special boy and he hold my heart.

I don’t understand this question. If you are asking what my spirit animal is, I have thought for a long time about this. My spirit animal would be my horoscope sign, which is a taurus. I am highly intelligent, but fierce and stubborn. I tend to fight over flight, but I have a big heart if you tame me.

The best thing about my town during the fall is that they put up the town’s Christmas decorations in the beginning of November for both holidays. They are old fashion wooden trees, elves, reindeer, and the like painted in festive colors with a good dose of glitter. They are all handmade by a carpenter that we happen to know. I have never lived in a small town that did this. The town I live in currently is even smaller than the one that I lived in before (Seriously, we are talking about small town USA in MA) and they never decorated for Christmas besides twinkle lights at town hall. I really love this aspect of my town and it makes the children really happy.

Yes, that is my favorite sound. I do not step on wet leaves though, because they stink like wet dirt. But if the leaves are dry, I love to hear that crisp sound. It is one of my favorite things to do besides jumping into a pile of leaves.

I have never been to a pumpkin patch. I don’t know of any pumpkin patches around here. I’d love to go to one some day. Preferably a hay ride through a pumpkin patch.

I don’t go hiking. I enjoy walking, but I don’t get to do it outside most of the time with Dean. So, no, I don’t go hiking during the fall.

I am on the fence with B&BW, but I have been buying my candles from Marshalls instead for all seasons. Occasionally, I will buy a candle from Walmart but not too often. I found out that Glade is not CF.

No, I do not enjoy carving pumpkins. I am not creative and carving pumpkins is HARD. I like to gut pumpkins though to cook the seeds and make authentic pumpkin pie and bread. But carving? Leave that to professionals. Nobody want to see me wield a knife.

My favorite Fall colors are red and gold. I just think they look so pretty together. Everything looks prettier with gold right? lol.

I’m not a tree hugger, so I will say a maple tree. Because maple syrup. Seriously. I don’t look at trees. Should I be looking at trees? I mean, they are pretty, but I don’t know most of the names….Maybe, a Chinese cherry blossom tree. Those are really pretty!

Corn maze all the way! I don’t like haunted/spooky stuff in real life. I like to watch ghost stories and all that fun stuff. I used to be OBSESSED with Ghost Hunters and actually met them and got autographs. I fell in love with Dave….awe… Those were the days. I’ve been to a corn maze once and really like it. It was an easy on though.

No, I am terrible at carving pumpkins. They never come out right, even with a simple design. I am just not an artistic person. Even my makeup is super simple.

I’d rather have a sweet treat than something spooky. I think we have determined by now that I am not the horror/Halloween type.

I do like to visit graveyards. In particular, I like to visit my grandparents and great uncle’s graves. I also am learning to drive in a cemetery. Granted, I visit during the day and not at night.

My favorite fall memory is going apple picking with my family when I was younger and getting those honey sticks at the end of it. We used to go apple picking for like two hours, no joke. We were a family of five growing up (add 2 adults and you have 7), so we had to pick a lot of apples. My mom also made apple pie and bread until I got old enough where she could force me to do it. I actually enjoy baking though, so the joke was on her.

My best fall ever would have to be the fall that I was pregnant with Dean, so fall of 2015. I was so happy, glowing, and felt the possibilities were endless. I wasn’t constantly uncomfortable or worries about giving birth. I was enjoying feeling his kicks and actually popping out and looking pregnant. Honestly, the best time of my life was when I was pregnant and the year after having a little baby to take care of. Don’t get me wrong, I still love Dean and enjoy watching him grow, but there is just something special about being pregnant and that first bonding year.

I wear gloves. I need all of my fingers to be individually wrapped and independently movable. I hate mittens. You cannot do anything in mittens. There are so many stylish gloves that have a mitten cover, so you can have the best of both worlds. Those are the gloves that I own.

I love the rain. I love being in the rain and listening to the rain. I like to watch it rain and be caught in the rain. You get the picture. I think my enjoyment of the rain started from the epic kiss scene in the movie The Notebook in the pouring rain. It opened up something inside of me. I have yet to experience a kiss like that, but it’s my inspiration.

I would spend fall in Greece, because I really want to go there. Spending Fall anywhere but in the USA would be nice really. I would love to travel abroad.

My dream Halloween outfit is to be a faerie again. I just love glitter on my face and the wings. It’s my favorite mystical creature. I’m not opposed to a fallen angel as well with black raven wings. If I ever dress up, it will be one of the two.

Since it is already Fall, nope! I don’t stock up on anything for the fall. I buy as I see fit. What would I be stocking up on? I just buy as a go. I’m trying not to be a hoarder and more of a minimalist going forward.

I love the Summer, next would be Winter, then Spring, and Fall last. I don’t really care for the Fall to be honest with you. Everything changes and dies. It is kinda depressing as it gets darker. In Winter, everything is covered in white and its chilly. Summer is just epic every year. Spring is new growth and my birthday. Winter is also Dean’s birthday.

Halloween is past now, but I spent my Halloween highly uncomfortable suffering from a Crohn’s complication. So, I was popping antibiotics and steroids, chilling my ass on the couch.

Yes, I love Christmas! I love giving and I love receiving. I love the joy of shopping for other people and being thought of by others. I’m waiting until Black Friday/Cyber Monday to buy a few gifts for Christmas. I usually do a bulk of my shopping then. It is a good time all around. It is especially enjoyable to see Dean’s eye light up with the tree and the presents.

My favorite shop during any season is Lush, because it always smells so divine in there. I haven’t gone in years, but I just don’t have one near me. Otherwise, no place is my favorite in the fall. None of them really decorate or anything. Marshalls is my favorite store though.

Yes, I love the cold weather. I love the chill and wearing a fluffy coat. I enjoy layering up and cuddling up in front of the heater. Burying myself in blankets and cuddling under the covers. There is just something about the cold weather and lower air quality that I enjoy. I like the burn in my lungs and the feeling from sweating in the cold shoveling snow. I’m weird.

My favorite Halloween candy is basically everything. The only candy that I hate is anything black licorice. I am not that picky when it comes to candy and I don’t eat that much candy either. I can take or leave candy. If you offer, I will take it, but I hardly ever go out and buy myself candy.

I <3 FALL TAG Collab W/ Ana Marie

Every Monday in November there will be a new tag up on my blog along with a matching post on the lovely Ana Marie’s blog. Read her tag post HERE. We are calling it a month of tags. 1.     Favorite fall lip product?

My favorite Fall lip product is this Anastasia Lip Gloss in Kristen. It is hella pigmented as a true brown nude on my lips. My natural lip color looks like pink lip liner in that pic, but that is just the gloss over my natural lip color. It is a lovely bold gloss for the cooler months. It is for sure a cool lip look and is great with a natural looking face. I also like to wear berries and darker pinks. I like to bust out the dark nudes and my unusual colors. My purple MAC gloss will be worn for sure as well.

2. Favorite Fall Drink?

My favorite drink for Fall is hot chocolate if we are going for a bargain and a hot peppermint mocha coffee if I want to splurge. I am also a sucker for espresso, but that is not Fall related. I have been buying the International Delight Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer since it came out a few weeks ago.

3.     Favorite Fall nail polish?

I am so bad at painting my nails. Seriously, I need to start taking the time to take care of myself. While I am having all of this time off, I will be painting my nails more regularly and having fun with it. I am loving nude nails and cool blue nails this Fall. I love how easy and classy nude nails are. I also love the way blue looks against my skin. If my blue starts chipping, I throw a silver glitter on top to get another week out of them. It also looks very pretty! It’s my Frozen look. I’ll need to look at what other glitters I have, because I think a gold would look very Fall as well. I never go too dark with my nails, because I don’t want to look pale. I like colors that make me look tanner than I am.

4.     Favorite Fall candle?

I am loving this candle from B&BW that I got in last year’s Black Friday bag. It is in Champagne Toast and while more Winter than Fall, this is the candle that I am loving and burning during the Fall. I will be saving this to reuse the jar. It is too pretty to throw away. I might keep all my lip products in it or something. It could be really cute to hold cotton balls/pads too. It is so pretty and it smells so good. I highly recommend that you give it a sniff if it comes back this year. I might buy the Black Friday bag again this year. It is a great deal at $30 full price or $25 if you purchase $35 worth of product. You get a lot more than $30 worth but it wasn’t quite the number that they claimed last year.

5.     Haunted house, haunted hayride or haunted corn maze?

Hmm…. I don’t do scary stuff, so possibly a haunted hayride. Things can’t touch you or anything and you are next to other people, not by yourself. It feels safer. I am not much of a Halloween person. It was fun when I was a kid, but now that I am an adult, Halloween isn’t about candy. People actually practice Satanic rituals on that day… I’d rather not be out during that time. But of course, when Dean is old enough and wants to trick or treat, I would take him to a Halloween party or something.

6.     Favorite scarf/accessory for Fall?

Ummm……OOOH! I know! I just bought these cute shoes! These are BearPaw boots, specifically the Treasure boot in Taupe size 9. They came in a nice sturdy box and only cost me $65 because I had a $20 off of my order coupon. I just love them. I love these types of boots and they are naturally water repellent. I still like to spray them to waterproof them though. I will be wearing these all Fall, all Winter, and all Spring. Seriously, I never want to take these boots off. They are so me!

7.     Favorite candy?

Is this a general question or a fall related question? If we are talking generally, I love
Ferroche chocolates which are the hazelnuts dipped in chocolate with a wafer then more chocolate rolled in chopped up hazelnuts. I guess, they are a Fall/Christmas choice, too. I love them year round, but any really good chocolate will do. I don’t 

8.     Your favorite horror movie? 

I don’t have a favorite horror movie. I don’t really watch horror movies. I mean, I watch maybe a couple every year. I don’t have a favorite. I’ve never watched the same one more than once. I am more of a thriller girl.

9.     Favorite blush for Fall?

I love a good nude blush for fall or a nice berry color if you are going with a neutral lip instead of a bold lip. I am currently loving this Tarte Amazonian Blush in Paarty, which was the Sephora BI birthday gift last year. I love wearing bold Fall lips, so my blush tends to be neutral. For work, I usually have nude lips, so I could wear a berry blush if I wanted. I have been into a more sunkissed gel blush for work though that I am trying to use up, so I didn’t include a picture of the berry blush. I love this Tarte formula, but not loving Tarte’s ethics right now.

10.  FAVORITE THING ABOUT FALL?

My favorite thing about Fall is the fresh, crisp air when it starts to get a little chilly. I love when all the leaves start changing colors and falling to the ground. I love putting the fireplace on and needing to get a little warmth to ward off the chill. I love drinking hot chocolates and watching the holiday Hallmark movies of which there are 22 new ones this year. AND CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY IS IN ONE!

Walmart Fall Beauty Box 2017

The Fall box was so late and the Winter boxes were supposed to start mailing out on Dec 21st. I haven’t heard anything about the Winter boxes, but I’m guessing that those will be very late and out of season as well. If the boxes don’t get better next year with the customization added to it, I will probably cancel. I hate that it’s a season behind and the fact that I was charged for almost a whole month before it shipped. It’s annoying.

At only $5 a box and $20 a year, I can’t really complain, but then again, I can. I paid $5 for something that didn’t ship out to me until almost a month after I was charged. I always keep these boxes, but then, I have NOTHING to put in them. I will save this box, because it is purple. I’m sure I’ll be recycling it in a few months when it is still empty. lol.

Tresemme Tres Two Spray Extra Hold Hairspray, 1.5 oz for $2.17

I needed some hairspray since I am totally out. Right now, I am using a gel that is like a hairspray. I have to say that I like hairspray better than gel, especially when it is a lighter hold hairspray. Although this is an extreme hold, I’m still happy to have a mini hairspray around. I just hate the little dandruff like pieces it leaves in my hair after brushing my hair. I have to wash my hair after using this, so I tend to use something like this on the night that I wash my hair.

Hello Extra Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste, 0.85 oz for $4.43

I was surprised to see just how expensive this brand is. My toothpaste is on it’s last legs, so this came just in time to try. If I see results, I would keep buying, because the name brand ones just aren’t working that well. The mini is almost the same price as the big one, so at least I know that it would be $5 for a big tube. I would spend that if it worked. Plus, a full sized toothpaste lasts like 6 months for just me using it.

Plackers Micro Mint Dental Flossers for $0.97

I already have a big pack of these at home. It is by far the easiest way to floss my teeth, especially with the metal bar in my mouth. This travel pack is nice to have in my bag at work, so I can floss after having my lunch if I feel like there is food stuck in my teeth. I can also easily refill it with more flossers from the big bag at home. This is really nice to have around instead of a roll of floss. I don’t need a mirror with these to floss my teeth.

Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Cream Oil, 0.75 oz for $0.97

I put this in Dean’s pile for his dry skin. We are almost out of his Aveno, so he needs something else for the dry skin on his legs. I usually put Johnson baby lotion from head to toe and then put Aveno or this Gold Bond on his dry and rashy parts. He gets heat rash a lot and he has bumpy dry skin. I do this routine every night before bed and clean clothes. Keeping him out of sweaty clothes helps, but he has very dry Winter skin. He wasn’t nearly this bumpy and rashy in the summer.

Body Fantasies in Tropical Wish & Cozy Cotton

Perfume samples are “eh” to me, but I will use them. I appreciate that these have caps, so you can take them on the go with you. I’ll throw these in my sample bag for now. I like that this box has tons of coupons and although I won’t use this one, it’s nice to have.

Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Shampoo & Curl Enhancing Smoothie foil packets

My hair isn’t thick, so I will be passing these on. I think this will be too heavy for my thin hair. If something is too heavy, it makes my hair look greasy the day after washing. The conditioner is very generous compared to the shampoo, which is very nice.

Soo Ae Donkey Milk Sleeping Mask for $0.50

My local store have these masks for 50 cents currently. I went by current my store prices for the price of my box. I love getting sheet masks in my box. I have used the sheet mask from the summer box and I really liked it. I look forward to having the time to use up this mask as well. I’m curious…..oh….wait, this isn’t a sheet mask, but an overnight mask! I am pleasantly surprised! I haven’t tried a sleeping mask yet. I’m very excited! I’ll use this when my skin is feeling extra dry. Perfect for the Winter months.

My box had plenty of samples and coupons. The box overall feels more put together than my previous two boxes. The value of my box was $9.07 which is $4.07 more than I paid for, which is good enough for me. I am looking forward to a customized Winter box in the coming month or so.

14 Before Fall Finale

 

It is finally time to wrap up this project pan and I am sad to see it go. I’m happy as well, because I think I completed my goal this time around! I won’t be doing anymore project pans this year or next year. I’m going to be doing monthly makeup bags, so that all of my makeup gets to spend some time with me every month. For that series, I will be posting the progress of the products when I start the month and then at the end of the month to see how much I was able to use up. Time to finish up this project pan and see how well I did. Anything I didn’t finish will have a final progress picture.

Roloxin Lift Instant Skin Smoothing Masque

I finished one of these packages and didn’t notice much of a different. It’s a nice firming treatment and maybe if I had some fine lines, it would have shown some improvement? It was nice 5 minute mask and I will use the other one up.

Medicell Eye Mask Duo

I really enjoyed these gel eye masks. They are super weird! They are silicon eye patches and I didn’t feel like it DID anything. There wasn’t a lot of serum on them to make any difference in my under eye area. I still had to add eye cream to feel moisturized. I would try other eye patches, but I think I’ll stick to paper ones. I think they have more solution on them and that’s what I want in an eye path and face mask. A lot of serum!

MJCARE Snail Essence Mask

My dad did this mask with me, since I had two of this kind. It has a light earthy scent, but had a TON of serum. To the point where it was dripping down my neck. Not my favorite mask, but I’m not afraid of snail masks anymore. It had a ton of serum in one of the packets (probably my dad’s since his didn’t come out as soaking wet as mine) and barely any leftover in the other. I highly recommend this brand strictly for moisturizing purposes. I don’t notice any other difference with any of the different varieties of masks from this brand.

 

 

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in K-Dub

Still no progress on this tube and that’s fine by me. I’m putting it away until next Spring/Summer where I will probably use it up. I love this really bright color. I wore it a ton around the pool and the house. It’s so nice not to be taking lipstick off of Dean all the time. I cannot help but kiss that boy a ton!

Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow in Pearl

I didn’t use it at all since the last update. I got tired of this shade. I still would like to finish it at some point. I’ll probably bring it out around January or so.

B&BW White Citrus Eau De Perfume

I think I might have mismarked it at some point, because it seems to be at the same point despite using it all month long. I am retiring this scent for at least the next month. I want to give other perfumes in my collection some love and I’m tired of this scent. It is a really nice citrus scent, but after three months, a girl needs a break. It also doesn’t last very long and I had to layer it with other perfumes.

 

Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 8

I am done with this SPF oil and I ended up really liking it. I might look into getting some higher SPF sun oils next summer. I really enjoyed the extra moisture with the protection. It was great for just every day sun exposure and for quick dips in the pool.

 

Temptu Highlighter

This was an easy one to finish off and was a very in your face highlighter. I really love highlighters that are super wham bam and I also love subtle ones. It depends on my mood. I wore this to work a lot and no one ever said anything about it. It was very fresh and wet looking. I have too many highlighters, so I wouldn’t buy this one. I also prefer powders to liquid or cream. I prefer liquid or cream if I’m going bare faced to work.

I didn’t finish any of these replacement items either. I am close to finishing the bronze lip gloss though. They have so much more product than you think and it lasts longer than other glosses that I own in my collection.

I finished up 5 products, bring my total to 14. I FINISHED THE CHALLENGE! I’m so proud of myself for completing the challenge and setting out to use up some products that had been sitting in my collection for a long time. I will be coming back next week with my 5 makeup picks for the month, plus one bonus perfume item.

Project Pan: 14 By Fall INTRO

I was 50% successful with my last project pan (post coming soon), so I thought that I would continue onto that route and make this project more successful. I am very hopeful to complete the challenge this time around. Now, you might be saying, but Selena, how can you finish 14 when you couldn’t finish 6. Ah, I have solved that dilemna. I have chosen products that are easy to use up, but that I just haven’t been motivated to reach for. Some of the things that I added, I am really excited to use like my new Kat Von D liquid lipstick. Without further ado, I would like to show you my 14 products to finish before Fall, which is September 21st.

I technically have 16 items listed here, but I only plan on using up 14 of them. I don’t think that I’ll be able to finish up the perfume, but I want to get good use out of it. That is why I do project pans, to get good use out of my stuff. This is basically how I rotate my stash and make sure that I keep my collection in check. This will also be a rotating project pan, which means that I will replace items as I use them up with a similar or like item: a lip gloss for a lip gloss for example.

Tony Moly Red Wine Mask Sheet Pore Care

This is a carry over from the last project pan. I really need to use up some sheet mask. I really love them, but they are being ignored. It is hard to find time for masking, when you have a little one who is scared when you wear face masks. I’m excited to take a bath and watch Youtube with this one. I’m going to try to use a face mask every time I take a bath which is usually twice a week.

Roloxin Lift Instant Skin Smoothing Masque

This mask has two uses, so I am counting it as two products. It is a smoothing mask that is supposed to make you look ten years younger for 24 hours. Yeah, I don’t believe that for a second, but I thought that this would be fun to do with my dad on a Saturday or Sunday morning before Dean wakes up. I automatically get up at 6 am now, so I have an hour or so before Dean wakes up for the day. This mask is a quick ten minutes.

Soo Ae Charcoal Clay Bubble Mask

The package feels like there is enough for two. This could be another one to share with my dad. I am intrigued by this bubble mask. I’ve never tried an oxygen mask before and I hope I’m not ticklish on my face. I feel like this is an easy pouch to use up, because it isn’t a sheet mask that you have to balance on your face. Apparently, I need motivation to use it, because I haven’t yet and it’s been over a month.

Medicell Eye Mask Duo

I’m not using these eye patches during my nightly bath. I will be using these one Saturday or Sunday morning when I can take the time to use these and have my cup of coffee. I’m sure these will feel heavenly and I don’t want to waste the benefits with using it at night. Eye patches are great for depuffing and this one is no different.

Yes To Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow Boosting Paper Mask

I feel like this mask is like a chemical exfoliant mask for your skin, because it uses citric acid to reveal brighter looking skin. I wonder if a paper mask is different from a sheet mask? I feel like it is just another way to say sheet mask. I love the brand Yes To and I hunt down their products when they are on sale at Walmart.

MJCARE Snail Essence Mask

This mask terrifies me, which is why I want to use it. The MJCARE masks really all smell the same to me, so this will probably be free, perfumed smelling and not like dirt or snail. I’m going to bite the bullet one of these days and wear this during a tub. These masks are cheap and relaxing. I really enjoy them. I’ve just been too afraid to use this one. Palmer’s Coconut Oil Facial Moisturizer

I will be using this as my night cream until it is used up. Coconut oil is too heavy for my face during the day. It will be perfect at night, when I want to give my face a lot of moisture due to the fact that I use a lot of mattifying products during the day. I don’t want to get my face stripped to the point that it starts to really produce oil again. I have got it balanced so far by using more moisturizing products at night to makeup for my mattifying ones and powdering.

Once I finish the moisturizer, I will be using up this oil next at night. I really love using oils at night as my moisturizer. It sinks into my skin better than any cream I’ve tried no matter what kind of oil. I have used the regular version of this oil before, so I am interested in seeing what makes this the “luminous” version. It does not look like it has sparkles in the tube at all. It looks just like the other Palmer’s oil I used to have.

Model Co Lip Lacquer in Viva

I plan on using this light peach lip gloss at work and just reapplying it throughout the day at my desk. It is smooth, not sticky. It is pigmented, but you do not need to use a mirror to apply. Precision is not needed with this product. It absorbs into the lips, but it only lasts a couple of hours before needing to apply again. I think I can finish this by the first update. It’s really not that big of a tube.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in K-Dub

I am loving this liquid lipstick from Kat Von D. I wasn’t sure about this color when I bought it, but I love it on me and I feel very confident with it on. It locks in place and lasts the whole day through eating and drink with no touch ups. I even took a nap with this on! It didn’t budge at all. It is a fun color for summer and if my dad likes my lip color, than you know it is good. It’s the perfect purple pink and so me.

Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow in Pearl

Now that I have a pencil sharpener, I can use up some of my eye liners and pencil eye shadows. I love this light pearl highlighty shade. I plan to use it as a brow bone highlighter, inner corner, and in my waterline to really brighten my eyes and make them pop. That’s if they will last in my eye liner. It is a pretty soft pencil, so I’m hoping that it will last. I think that I can use this pencil up by the end of the challenge as long as I use it everyday on my day off. I’ll try to sneak it into my work routine. We will see…..

Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm

I feel like this is an illuminating pore filler or primer for your skin and not really a highlighter. I’m going to see if I like it all over the face or more as a highlighter. I love trying new innovative things like these. They make me think, “What are they really for?” I love discovering different ways to use things and not just in the traditional sense.

B&BW White Citrus Eau De Perfume

I am so sad that this scent doesn’t last very long. I just sprayed it an hour ago and I cannot smell it anymore. It is such a fresh unique scent, just like a freshly squeezed lime. I just love the scent and if you can find it, take a sniff. I cannot recommend it though, because the scent just does not last. It is more like a body spray than a perfume.

Davines Natural Tech Replumping Hair Filler Superactive

I really like this leave in spray to make my hair thicker and since it is a spray, you can layer this in the roots over over products. I do notice a subtle difference in my hair, but not enough to buy this product. I enjoy using it, but it doesn’t give me plumped up roots.

Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 8

I am not using this as a tanning oil, but as a body oil to make my legs and arms look nice in a dress. It gives a nice sheen to the skin, but I prefer not to get cancer, thank you very much. I like a high SPF for my body and face and my son. I want to use this up and get it out of my collection or else it will stick around FOREVER.
