Project 200 Pan: Feb Update

I am so late on this update, but that just means that March will come faster and you won’t have to wait as long for the next one. From where we left off with the January update, I have finished/hit pan on 14 items out of 200. This project is 7% completed. Now, let’s get into the items that I finished in February that count towards this 200 pan goal.

I finished these two deluxe sized hair items, so my count is now at 16 items used up. I didn’t care much for either of these items, so I am glad to have them out of my collection.

22 items used up with the 6 items in this picture. I used up cleansing wipes, toner, 2 serums, 1 eye cream, and a facial cream. I am happy with the amount of skin care empties and I think I emptied out a few in March, too. I love skin care and I love to splurge in certain categories in this area.

24 items with this picture. I used up both hand creams, although I did use the Gold Bond on Dean. I used the last bits in the Equate, but my dad used most of it. He hates using up every last drop, so I usually finish off the tiny bits left in his products.

31 items with this picture. I used up a body spray, which only took like a year to use up in the bathroom as a bathroom spray. I am never buying another body splash again. I just don’t use them, because they do not last on the skin. I used up a liquid eye liner, but it really just dried out from lack of use. I have hooded eyes, so me and black liquid eye liner do not mix. I don’t do the cat eye thing. I used up two lip glosses, one lipstick, and one lip paint. I have been going through lip products like crazy. I have been wearing my red in the house and reapplying every two hours or so. I’m getting used to seeing myself in red, but I still don’t like how I look in them. I used up a perfume sample and a sample of the Becca primer which I would buy. I need to use up my purple corrector first though.

I’m about 15% done with this project now. That was an 8% increase, so I am on target to finishing the 200 by the end of the year. March has been really light, so if I get a 4% increase, I would be happy. I don’t know what happened with March. I think I used up a lot of almost empty stuff and have been working on fuller products in March. I bet April will make up for March though.

February Empties

I have another month of empties to share with all of you. I used up a lot of items this month and I am hoping to finish up even more in March. My skincare cabinet has a bit of room to it now. My first thought was to bring in more items from my back stock, but I have refrained from doing that so far. I wanted to bring in another face mask, but I already have 5 open. lol. I love skin care products, but I am trying to convince myself that a little bit of room is good to be able to comfortably reach everything without knocking bottles over.

Gosh, 41 items in the month of February is a lot of items to get through in a very short month. I am very excited to see what March brings. So far, my basket is empty, but that was how Feb started and I ended up with 41 empties. I love getting rid of so much stuff and not wasting it either. I am excited to see how many of these items count towards my Project 200 pan. I feel like at this rate, 200 might be a real achievable goal for me. If I reach it too soon, then I will up my goal depending upon how many months are left in the year.

February Empties

Another month gone by and another basket full of empties! I have a couple of empties for March waiting to go in here, so I thought that the sooner I write this post, the better. I’ll be saving some of these items for reviews to do in a separate bag, but some of these are repurchases and I won’t be reviewing those unless my opinion changes on them. I think I might have more than last month, but we’ll see soon. 🙂 I’m so happy to be using this stuff up instead of having it sit around. February Empties

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

I cannot believe that I only have a handful of empties this month. It seemed like a lot of things were close to being used up, but I guess not. Maybe, I’ll just have a massive empties next month. I’m getting my hair done next month as an early birthday present to myself which is exciting! I don’t get my hair done that often, so whenever I do, I get very excited. I dye my hair about once or twice a year. Last year, I didn’t dye my hair. I got highlights and low lights done in September of 2014 and that was the last time dye touched my head. So, my hair is a virgin again. Danielle couldn’t believe my hair was that dark. She’d never seen my virgin hair and she’s known me for 10 years. Anyways, only 5 empties this month.

Birchbox Unboxing: February

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

So, this video was not the best. It was really steady and I thought I was organized. The end of the video got cut off, because my kindle decided that that was a good time to tell me that I was almost out of space. I still had 10%, but it decided that that wasn’t enough. There wasn’t much left to the video anyways, so I just decided to upload it. If you saw my previous post my impression of the November Ipsy bag was uploaded. I plan on uploading the December Ipsy impressions next week. Let me know if you like this style of videos and posts.
