Body Care BACKUP Collection 2019

I feel very good about this category. I don’t feel like I have an excessive amount here. I think I can empty this bin by the end of the year, if I don’t get any new products coming into this category and I might with my FitFabFun box. I feel like at the end of the year, I can condense the remaining products with my skin care bin. I am feeling more confident that I can get myself down to two bins by the end of the year. I had a goal to free up one drawer in my jewelry chest and I actually already freed up two drawers. That’s just proof that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. I have come a long way in not hoarding in the body care section. I used to have a TON of stuff waiting in the wings.

VS PINK Sweet & Flirty 2-IN-1 Wash & Scrub

Currently, this is the next shower gel that I will put in my shower once I use up my current one. If I have matching sets, I like to use them together. If one outlasts the other, I will use a shower gel, scrub, or body lotion that I don’t have a matching set of. This is to ensure that I use sets together, but also so that I use up stragglers and products that don’t have a partner. I do have the matching body lotion for this, so they will be used together until one of them dies. I no longer buy skin care/body care from VS since they are not cruelty free, so I would not repurchase any of them for that reason.

VS PINK Sweet & Flirty Body Lotion

I like the Sweet & Flirty scent and the lovely lavender bottles that they come in. I like that this lotion has a pump for easy of use. It is a good big size, so it will take me awhile to work through. I find that these lotions since in fast and don’t leave a greasy or sticky residue. I really like them. I just wish that they didn’t test on animals. It is such a shame.

Avon Foot Works Lavender Comfort Foot Soak

I only have a few uses left and this will most likely be used up this Summer. I tend to pamper my feet during the summer, because I wear sandals. I am looking forward to targeting the products that I discover only have a few uses left in June and July. I really want to knockout as many as I can this year. I want to hit that $500 mark, but I also want to use these products and enjoy them. I no longer purchase from Avon, because they are all pyramid schemes and scams.

20190529_100228.jpg

Claire’s Ear Care Solution

I use this to prep my ears and earring to go into my ears. I have the standard ear piercing, but I also have my right ear cartilage pierced. This helps to soothe my ears after wearing earrings as my ears are very sensitive to any earring that I put in there it seems. Metal, gold, silver, platinum, it doesn’t seem to matter. My lopes are more sensitive than my cartilage, so it tends to get used more than my traditional piercings. This huge bottle is gonna last me a lifetime and I don’t mind.

20190529_100211.jpg

VS Bombshell Wild Flower Smoothing Body Polish

I am currently more than half way through a different scent of the same body polish. I am really enjoying these. It leaves my skin so moisturized that I don’t need to follow up with moisturizer after a shower. I just pat dry with a towel and my skin is good to go. I wish VS was cruelty free, because I would buy more of these. I am glad to have an extra, because I think that I will be onto this one by July. I use a body scrub every other shower, so 1 to 2x a week. I like to also take baths and I never use a body scrub in the tub. I enjoy the flower scent of these. The one I’m currently using is floral and sweet. It is the perfect scent for me.

20190529_100142.jpg

Smart Stuff Mineral Based Sunscreen SPF 30

I bought sunscreen, but it won’t be included here or in these counts. I bought a spray version (twin pack) for my son. I keep one in his diaper bag for going out to my mom’s, daycare, etc. The other one is in the bathroom water closet until the current bottle is used up. This is my own personal sunscreen that I need to use up. I am sure that I will finish this up with a few trips to the lake at my boyfriend’s mom’s house. I don’t have very much left. I just need some occasions to use it. I even keep sunscreen in my purse in case I plan on going out at work and my tattoo is exposed or I’m wearing a dress, etc. I should have no cataloged backups until the end of summer when all the bottles are pout in storage again. Who knows? Maybe we’ll use every last bit up.

20190529_095630.jpg

Manna Kadar Champagne Charcoal Scrub

I got this body scrub in my Spring FABFITFUN box. Once I use up my VS scrubs, I will move onto this one. I am excited to try it and see how moisturizing it is. I know this brand is cruelty free, so depending upon the performance, I might purchase this one. I haven’t even opened it to smell it yet. I am getting so much better at not opening up products until I want to use them. So, this will stay super fresh until I am ready to use it. It is almost double the size of the other ones, so it’s a good value for the money.

20190529_100126.jpg

B&BW Seaspray Body Splash

I am currently working on a VS body spray, but besides my glitter one, this is my last body spray in back stock. I am so happy to be almost done with these. I know myself that I do not enjoy using these. I use them as bathroom sprays. If I get more as gifts, that is fine and I will use them as bathroom sprays. I will not be buying more for myself, because I know that I do not care for them. I cannot wait to be out of these. It’s exciting.

20190529_095646.jpg

Lush Bar Soap

I have long since forgotten what the name of this soap is. I enjoy the scent of it and once I am done with my current body wash, I will use this soap next. I enjoy bar soap every once in a while. I just don’t feel like they get me as clean as shower gel or body wash and leave a residue. I know the Lush ones don’t do that, which is why I enjoy them. This will be gone before the end of the year after sitting around in my collection for over a year. I should have used it up sooner!

20190529_100111.jpg

AXE Dual Shampoo & Conditioner

This is a little throw away bottle that I keep for traveling to wash my hair. If I happen to take a shower at the YMCA after swimming or at the lake or the ocean, I’ll have this with me to use. I’ll buy one at Walmart every time that I run out. I enjoy the scent of axe products and its a two in one which is convenient for just doing a quick wash. I need to pick up a travel wet hair brush as well and I’ll be all set.

20190529_095617.jpg

Week From Hell Hand Rescue

I’m waiting for my hand cream to be used up at work and I’ll bring these in. I like to take a mental break at work at my desk and rub lotion on my hands. I don’t necessarily have to have a hand cream. I sometimes use body lotion. I just have to be careful that it doesn’t leave my hands feeling sticky or greasy. I don’t like to type with greasy hands or sticky fingers. It feels so good to have my weekends back and be at the office again. I’ve had enough working from home and being isolated.

20190529_095537.jpg

Gingy Assorted Body Lotions

I have 4 mostly full bottles left out of the set of 8, so I finished half of them. I think it takes me like 2 weeks of daily usage to finish a bottle. That is a two month supply of lotion technically. I have gotten out of the habit of lotioning everyday though, since I haven’t been going into work. Now, that I am again, I am going to slowly build that up again. My legs were in much better condition when I was doing that. I plan on wearing lots of dresses this summer, so I want my legs to look as nice as possible.

20190529_095604.jpg

Julep Rock Star Hand Creme

Another hand cream to bring to work to use up.

20190529_095551.jpg

Claire’s Glitter Mist in Sparkling Strawberry

Who doesn’t love a little glitter? I’ll get some use out of this over the summer on bare shoulders, arms, and legs. This will be something fun to use up. Hopefully, I can use this up over the summer. I would rather own a more adult glowy bronzing oil than straight up glitter, but I will use it up.

Hopefully, I am able to cut this collection down to half size by the end of the year. I just want to enjoy and use up what I have before buying more stuff to clutter my tiny apartment. As long as I have a healthy amount leaving my collection every month, I will be happy about all of the progress that I have been making towards decluttering my back stock bins. I will always have back stock, but the amount that I have is a bit ridiculous for my comfort standards. Makeup, I can get away with having a collection of, but skincare, hair care, and body care does not warrant the massive stock that I own. Here’s to a lighter New Year!

Makeup Collection June 2019: Eyes

I am starting off my makeup collection with all of my eye products. This is everything in use and in storage. This is every single piece of eye makeup that I own. I enjoy makeup and collecting pieces of makeup. Skincare and makeup is my passion and what I love wearing, buying, and reviewing. I enjoy blogging about all of this in my free time. As far as makeup is concerned, I will not be going out and buying any this year. I already made my birthday purchase and I tend to only indulge then. Black Friday, is usually for skincare, body care, and perfume if needed. I usually like to indulge in food at Christmas, so I like to buy gingerbread houses and things like that. Any makeup that comes to me this year will be from my FitFabFun box. So, I really want to make some progress in six months with some of these items being used up.

20190529_103446.jpg

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara

I have only one mascara and it is currently being used. I will be needing a mascara to replace this one, however, both my mom and my best friend has said that they have some mascara that they don’t want. So, I don’t think that I’ll need to go out and buy one. If I do need to buy some, I would buy the Sephora Lashes to Go kit that is $25 for 5 minis and a coupon to redeem a full size. That sounds like a hell of a deal. That’s like 3 years of mascara, since you can have a tube open for 6 months.

20190529_103149.jpg

I have three glitter eye shadows. One is a balm and the other two are the Stila Glitter & Glows. I would like to use these up this year. I have already hit pan in two of them. I want to use up 1 by the end of the year for sure. These are very easy to throw on. I just apply with the wand and I’m done. This is one and done liquid glitter eye shadows. I tend to want to do quick looks in the morning before work. These glitters might be a little fancy for work, but who doesn’t need a little glitter in their life?!

20190529_103250.jpg

I only have one quad and one trio. The quad is all shimmers and the formula is very pigmented and wet feeling. I really love it. The cream and brown is great for a simple eye look. The rusty red would be good for the Fall and the blue is bright for Spring or Summer. The trio has two mattes and one shimmer in the middle. This is perfect for a basic eye look for work. I’m going into the office 5 times a week soon. I am sure that I will start seeing progress on my eye shadows then. Both of these can be very quick, easy, and work appropriate.

20190529_103830.jpg

These are my two priming eye products. One is the Urban Decay Eye primer that I use with powder eye shadow that I want to last all day. The Dr. Brandt is an under eye primer for correcting dark circles that you use over your eye cream. I see it more as a makeup product than as a skin care one.

20190529_103954.jpg

These are all my eye shadow palettes. The oldest is my Smashbox palette that I have thirteen eye shadows remaining in it. I need to start putting them in my projects, but it is a bulky palette. I need to make room for it. There are 6 mattes and 7 shimmer/metallic shades in there. It is very basic for work and all the colors are very blendable. I have already hit pan in two eye shadows. For my project pan. I might rotate all my eye shadows in every week to get progress and use out of all my eye shadows. That could be super fun. The ELF palette was a free gift with purchase and again, this would be a really good palette for work appropriate looks. It has 4 matte shades and 6 shimmer/metallic shades. I’m excited to use the pink and rose gold shade. There is a nice base shade and I like the champagne shimmer. I probably won’t get much use out of the darker shades, but I won’t mind chucking this palette after I finish the first 6 shades. I am super excited about my Ciate palette that I just bought for my birthday. It has 3 pressed glitters, 4 mattes, and 2 metallics/shimmer shades. I think it is a beautiful palette for work and for going out as well. I am itching to play with this palette and make some pretty looks.

20190529_103924.jpg

I have 4 eye liners that I cannot use in my waterline. I want to use these up, so that I can buy some gel eye liners to put in my waterline and tight line. I can use the silver and the nude as an inner corner highlight. The blue and grey, I need to find other uses for. Maybe, I’ll use them as an eye shadow or to line my bottom lashes. I only use eye liner in my waterline. My hooded eyes are too hooded to use eyeliner as it was intended. My line always ends up wonky.

20190529_104049.jpg

I have 6 cream eye shadows. I am currently trying to use up a nude eye shadow stick. The other stick is in rose gold. I have a cream moss green neutral shade and a metallic purple that I need to apply sheer to use it up. I have a moussey white gold jelly eye shadow color that is beautiful. The last potted one is a gold metallic shade that is very neutral to wear. I love the ease of cream eye shadows, but I also love standard eye shadow as well. It really depends what I’m in the mood for.

20190529_103900.jpg

I have two single shadows. One is a peachy pink and the other is a blue in a stick format with a sponge applicator. I’d like to use both of these up and get them out of my collection. We shall see. I want to get use out of all of my eye shadows, because as I write this post, I seriously want to use everything.

20190529_104010.jpg

Lastly, I have two duos and they are all shimmers. The green eye shadow, I am not interested in using. I love the gold though. Once I use the gold up, I will be decluttering the green color. It is too dark for my hooded eyes. The purple and frosted white are both beautiful colors to wear together. I use the purple on the lid and the white as an inner corner highlight.

The more I think about it, the more I do want to cycle through my eye shadow products and get use out of all of them. I will work out a way by my Summer project pan. I am thinking of introducing 4 products: one for each week whether a palette or a single. I could then use one a week and one the next update choose 4 more. I’ll comment on if I declutter a shade or hit pan/used one up, but will comment very little otherwise since I’m not using any of these consistently enough to show progress on them. Hopefully, I can move some stuff up before the end of the year.

Selena

Project 200 Pan: June Update

In May, I used up 61/200 products bringing my percentage to 30% done with the project. I should be at 50% this month, but I do not see that happening based on how much I managed to use up in June. My goal is to use up 5% in June and every month thereafter. I am interested to see how close I am to my goal, but I really need to step up my game and start using my makeup more. I haven’t been using as much makeup as I should, because it has been a really hot summer and I’ve been lazy about it. I need to practice more self-care in July and August to make up for what I think will be a fail in the month of June.

IMG_4053

I was able to use up two skincare items in June. I should try to use more sheet masks, because I have a lot of them and my skin has been drier lately. I think I convinced myself to do one tonight after my shower. My dad and I share skincare products of whatever isn’t too girly, so my dad shared this with me. I did not care for this gel cleanser and have moved onto a foam one that is too squeaky clean. I need to find a good cleanser that does the job and is a bit nourishing at the same time. 63/200

IMG_4054

I am only counting the pink hair color here. It was supposed to be a soft pink but came out way too bright in my hair for the first few washes. It lasted about 6 to 8 weeks, so I do recommend it. I am dying my hair grey again, but after that I am expanding to other colors that I might like the look of in my hair. I should have at least a toner done in July and possibly the grey color. My hair is a bit brassy, so I want to counteract that before putting on the grey. I like to give it at least a week before putting in the color to recover, but I prefer two. 64/200

IMG_4055

I am only counting the makeup remover here. It takes me a long time to use makeup remover, because I only use it if I put on eye makeup. I really need to use my makeup more, because I have about 4 or 6 of these makeup removers in my stash right now and at least three of them are in my current skin care cabinet. This was decent, but it made my vision blurry if I got some in my eye. I did that every time that I used this. 65/200

IMG_4056

I am counting all of these products. Dean finished up his last paint soap from Christmas time. I need to be on the lookout for more of these. It makes bath time super fun for him. The other two are sunscreens that I had laying around from my subscription boxes. I really enjoyed the boxes when I had them, but I need a good year to really purge my collection before I would sign up again. I have a couple of other ones to use up and then, I can buy some sunscreen from Ocean State Job Lot. 68/200

IMG_4057

My toothpaste is the bomb. I will keep repurchasing until there is a good cruelty free whitening toothpaste. I just repurchased another tube of diaper cream. Even though Dean is 2 1/2, it is still great to have this on hand for rashes not on the bum. I still need to buy acetone. I haven’t been painting my nails, because I don’t have anything to remove it with if I don’t like the color or if it starts chipping fast. I have it on my shopping list, so hopefully I won’t forget again. 71/200

8 items isn’t terrible, but it isn’t the greatest either. I only managed to use up 71 items. I am behind a good 29 items that would have brought me up to the half way mark. I have a plan to step up my game. I need to start using my body lotion like I used to. If I lotion once a week, that’s a lot. I want to do it again more regularly. I’ve already stated that I need to take time to do masks and my makeup more often. I want to get my brows waxed or threaded because they are so out of control that it discourages me to do my makeup. I need to paint my nails more and I need to do my skin care religiously instead of skimping out with just cleansing. I am 35.5% done with the project, so at least I kept up the 5% and actually gained 0.5%. I don’t feel as bad now, but I still need to hustle.

June Empties

I am sorry again with the late post. I don’t have nearly as much time for my blog as I used it. I still get the joy of blogging and I love it. I just can only do it an hour every Sunday and maybe squeeze in 30 minutes on my other day off. Believe it or not, I can get about 3 posts done in an hour and not skimpy ones either. I am not going to say how fast June has gone, because July is almost gone right now. June is a distant memory right now. I am a fan of lengthy intros in case anyone is wondering. I like to get my thoughts out there before I get to the point.

That is a total of 13 empties this month. I have a feeling that the trend of less empties will continue for the rest of the year. I don’t know how I am going to finish up 200 items now. I really need to step up my game and start reaching for products that I can hit pan on. I should also really work on my lip collection as well. I could probably empty a couple of those in August if I really try. July’s basket seems to be a bit empty, so I might have less than this month. I won’t really know until I count them out. I am going to shift my focus to makeup now that I have some of my skincare under control. I don’t have time for eye make when I go to work, so I will be focusing on base and lip products. I will make a better effort to do my eye makeup when I am at home. It is time to get serious, so I can drop some serious dough on makeup next year.

Book, Lifestyle, project pan, Reviews

June Reads

I am so happy to have two books off of my to-read shelf at home this past month. I currently sit at 30 books to-read from my personal library. I don’t tend to reread books, so these are all books that I bought or were bought as gifts for me brand new that are sitting on my to-read shelf. I am still working on my to-read Goodreads shelf, which currently stores 700 books. I know that I cannot read all of those and I might not be interested in them anymore. I have been slowly going through it book by book, page by page and have found that some of them I have read and just forgot to switch it from to-read to read. Others, I am no longer interested in. I think I have currently combed through 120 titles to keep on my shelf. I am happy to have two physical books out of the way that I did very much enjoy.

Hope in a JarHope in a Jar by Beth Harbison

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I don’t read that many adult books. I have been sticking to the YA novels, because I really love reading most of them. However, I have been getting into adult books lately and this one was the best mix of YA and Adult together. The book occurs in flashbacks from middle school and high school and goes back into the reality of being in your 30s. It was a quirky book with so many layers to it. It is very much a coming of age story and you get to play detective to see why two best friends from high school drifted about over one event in their lives. I did not see it coming and I don’t want to spoil it. This book goes DEEP without giving you all of the details. I won’t say that I was invested in any of the characters. The book doesn’t go deep enough for that. It just skims the surface of every character and no one really has that much dimension. It was still an enjoyable book and I do recommend it for those days that you just want to read a book without feeling guilty about it being chick lit.

The Moon and MoreThe Moon and More by Sarah Dessen

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wow. It only took me 16 days to read this book. I was obsessed with reading it. From the first chapter, Dessen hooked me right in and her familiar story arc didn’t seem old and tired. I really enjoyed the characters and how the story flowed. I stopped watching Netflix, because I enjoyed this story more. It takes a really good book for me to chose it over my current obsession Lost Girl. I could relate to the main character Em with her daddy issues. I have a similar tale with my own biological dad. It might have been the familiarity that got me hooked, but it was the way Dessen made her main character so human that kept me reading. She didn’t state every few pages that Em was “beautiful” or “smart”. It is implied in the way she goes about finding solutions and her attitude towards her brother. Dessen doesn’t need a “beautiful” man character that all the boys in the book flock to. Maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much. Em is such a real girl, a real character that I didn’t feel like anything was forced about her. Yes, there were some cringe worthy moments that I wished she would have reacted differently, but it made her more real that she didn’t react in the most ideal way. She is for sure one of the more reserved characters in Dessen’s novels.

View all my reviews

I am unsure of how many books I will be reading in the future with school occupying a lot of my spare time. I think I will either be reading or watching my shows on Netflix and only binge watching my Youtube shows once a week. Youtube has been a major time suck recently and I need to cut down on it. I have never been obsessed with social media before and Youtube seems to be the one that I enjoy most. If I cut down on that time, I believe that I will be able to read a book a month. I am also subscribed to Audible now and I am enjoying the last book in the Meg Cabot series Airhead as I walk on my manual treadmill. Combining reading and exercise is keeping me motivated to workout at least twice if not three times a week at 30 minute intervals. I am already looking through my to-read list for the next book that I should listen to. $14.99 a month is not that expensive for an audiobook if it is also your exercise program.

Makeup Monthly: June

Another month gone. I lost my May photos as you may know if you have been reading my blog. So, I cannot comment on last month really, because I cannot show you the photo and recap the month. Let us start off fresh with the June makeup that I will be using and wearing. I wanted bright, fun, but also easy to wear makeup. On work days, I get up early and only have time for few things. This is reflected in my makeup choices. On my days off and work from home days, I can put in a bit more effort and use all of these products or a good amount anyways.

I really want to use up this B&BW perfume once and for all. It smells great like a lime freshly juiced. The problem? It lasts as long as a body spray, so an hour at most. I like my perfume to last all day or at least, most of it. I totally forgot about this BareMinerals trio that I own. I remember not liking the bronzer, so I am going to try it again and see my thoughts on it. The blush, I don’t think I liked either. I really love the highlight though. I remember getting this on sale at Sephora. If I end up not liking the blush and/or bronzer, I am just going to crack them out of the pans and keep the highlighter. I have a good dip in that. I love the Kat Von D liquid lip in Pool Party. I want to get serious use out of it. The Avon I just want to use up and plan on using at work on my desk. The PIXI cheek gel is SUPER old. I want to use up this gel blush this month. I love how easy eye glosses are to use. But I love my Stila Glitter and Glows. Would love to use up this gloss in June.

This is all the makeup that I will be using this month (for the most part). Do you do a monthly makeup bag to rotate your stash?

June Birchbox

I love the watercolor pastel box this month! It is very pretty and another one that I will be saving. I’ll be going through my make up collection to purge a few things. Is anyone interested in seeing that? I think I’m going to take pictures and do a post on it. I’ll probably bring it to work for a few friends to pick over. Danielle, when I do the post and you definitely want some of it, let me know and I’ll set it aside for you. 🙂

Anyways, here’s my June box, which I’ll let you know now I LOVE it.

Texturizing spray

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, 1 oz for around $5 USD

I love texturizing sprays, which I find are different from dry shampoos. I think they work better than dry shampoos. Even though, they technically are dry shampoo, I think they are a hybrid of some sort. I’m currently using Rusk texturizing spray, but I cannot wait to use this one as well. I see it all over Youtube, so I am happy to have my hands on this product. It will go into my beauty bin for now to use when I use up the Rusk.

Marcelle BB Cream in Golden Glow, 7 ml for $4.20 USD

This is an okay size to sample. I wish it was bigger though. This only has enough for two or three face applications. I like the glow that it gives the skin, but I would definitely powder afterwards. I powder after apply sunscreen. I like being glowy, not shiny/greasy looking. This stuff is expensive, so I don’t think I’ll be buying it anytime soon.

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask, 1 oz for $4.50 USD

As you can see by the picture on the right, this product is a welcome repeat offender. I love that it is now in a squeeze tube, which makes the product easier to use. This tube is enough for two to three masks for my hair. I do a mask about once a month, but now that I bleached it, I think I’ll do it once every week or so. This could be in July empties. I like this product and the scent. I won’t be buying it though.

Cleanser

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, 1 oz & 1 cloth for $11.32 USD

I’m so excited to be receiving these two products in my Birchbox. The potential of getting this product in my box is what made me sign up for it in the first place and now, I am finally sampling it. It is a brilliant moment for me. If I really liked this product, I could see this replacing my GlamGlow cleanser. Now, I just have to sample Emma Hardy’s Cleansing Balm. Anyone else love sampling highend products?! It’s an addiction of mine.

Benefit Gimme Brow Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in 1, 1 g for $8 USD

This was my chosen sample this month. It is also my first brow product EVER. Yeah, I never got on that train. I’m excited to try this product. I need to get my eyebrows threaded first. I’m hoping to get it done next weekend. This seems like a great product and I love trying out new makeup.

That’s my box this month!

Picture Perfect

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

I thought that I would share a few pictures of my trip in June to see the monster trucks. My dad loves going to these events every year and this was his father’s day present from me, especially since he has been so supportive about my decision to have and raise the baby. He really wants to help and is looking forward to taking care of a little one again. He’s even felt the little one kick once. It’s funny that she’s already kicking, but other people cannot always feel it. I have hypersensitivity, so I sensed his kicks pretty early on. I also cannot take my medication while pregnant, so that is why I have been so sensitive to everything. The medication numbs my heightened sense of feeling, so I can be normal. Where my stomach digesting my food doesn’t send me into a frenzy of pain. Anyways, here are some pictures from the event to enjoy.

Say Hello To July!

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

Wow. I cannot believe that it is July already. Half of the year is already gone and it is just so exciting! I don’t have a lot of favorites, but I do have a few. I loved getting my ultrasound pictures and seeing my baby for the first time. It really made everything real for me, more real than what I was already feeling anyway. It was really fun to go to Monster Jam again with my dad. We really had a blast all day long, even standing in line for two hours was somehow fun. I also had a yummy snow cone, so there was that. Otherwise, I loved ordering and getting my Erin Condren Life Planner. I loved decorating the month spread and my first week spread as well. I don’t think I did any other fun things though. I don’t usually have very eventful months, just years.

I enjoy the little things in life really. I didn’t really buy anything this month, except some clothes and things. If I use up a lot of my stuff this month, I might indulge in a Victoria Secrets/Bath & Body Works haul this summer. Oh! My dogs got their 3 year rabies shots and their licenses to walk around. The tags are bone shaped and PURPLE this year! So cute. Anyways, I’m happy that my dogs will not need to go back to the vets for three more years, unless they develop problems. Serena still needs her three year booster and a checkup though. Shadow needs her blood work in September along with her booster as well. So many appointments to keep track of! Anyhow, that was my month in a nutshell.

It is July 1st and the first day of Julamorous! Let the glamorous month begin with last month’s empties. There were so many this past month and I am hoping to hit 10 empties this month in July. I already have two products that are on their last couple of uses, so hopefully they run out instead of lasting forever. Maybe, I will actually empty out so body products as well this month, but let’s take a look at June first!
