Dean’s Recap 11/17/17

It’s been a hot minute since I did one of these posts last. I’m like a week behind. I’ve been so busy this past week with a mouse trapped in Dean’s bedroom, so naturally, he had to sleep in bed with me. We are finally getting back into the swing of things. I’m going to post later this week how my visits went with each of the ABA service providers and tell you which one I chose and why. It’ll be an educational post if you like to hear these things from a mother’s perspective. If you have any topics you want to request on Autism or any questions you have, post them down below and I can incorporate them into a post if the answer warrants its own post.

11/15/17 Speech therapist:

Respiratory virus with fever past couple of days. Dropped off Authorization forms for Hannah to sign to get ABA referrals in the process. Hannah has opted to meet with all three providers and decide from there which company is a better fit.

11/17/17 Speech therapist:

Sick all week with cold. Not eating as well due to cough, congestion. Better eye contact when settled in his chair. Worked on shape sorter and was persistent – longer time willing to work. Able to place circle in several times. Square 1x. After work time, he went back to bucket to throw shapes in. Happy sounds, nice smile and laugh.

  1. Continue “time to work” with shape sorter.
  2. Fax referrals to Autism providers

It was a short week for him, because he was still sick. The next one of these that I do, he has three visits, so it will be a bit longer with more information. I’m proud of my boy. He conquered his first cold AND I SURVIVED!

Insurance Course & Blog Update

I am taking an insurance education course to get my Associates degree in Information Technology. I am currently taking AIT 131 and have to take three more courses after that for the certificate of completion. My work is paying for my courses and all of the fees. I have to pass or I have 60 days to pay them back. I scheduled my test for December 9th at 2:30 pm, but I have to be there at 2 for check in. It is at a business center that is certified to give the test, which is 84 multiple choice questions that you answer on the computer. This is my first test that won’t be on pen and paper.

My plan is to do at least a chapter a week. So, that gives me 11 weeks for going through the book and study guide and about 3 weeks of studying for the test. Before I get into my books and materials, I wanted to make a little announcement. Working full time, taking an insurance course, and raising an almost nine month old full time is no joke. These are my priorities in order to make a better life for my family. This means that my blog will be on the back burner for when I have time for it. I’m not going to sacrifice my studies for my blog. If I have time, I’ll blog. I’ll have a post up tomorrow as well. Next week? I might just have one. It depends on how much of my work on Chapter 2 that I get done. I hope you guys understand.

This is my textbook Using Information Technology by The Institutes. The Institutes is my Insurance Education college. As you can see, the book is thick, but there is another chapter missing from it. It’s missing chapter 11, which I was sent as a separate little blue book. What I like to do, is read a two page spread and highlight as I go along: pink for title headers, blue for the text underneath of what the section is about, orange for any vocab that is bold and underlined, and yellow for any important information in the sections.

After reading, I’ll take notes in my Hot Chocolate notebook. I love the gold accents! I’ll just write down whatever I highlighted in different colors. I like to color code and it helps me to recognize different sections of my notes. Every chapter is a different set of pen colors, so I can also recognize when I flip into a different chapter.

I love the Papermate Ink Joy pens. They write the smoothest and really are effortless. I also bought some new Sharpie highlighters. I already had an assortment of page flags and sticky pads. I like using the sticky ads to write down what I want to get accomplished that day. There is a certain satisfaction to completing it and throwing it out.

Above is the extra chapter that I was taking about. I haven’t looked at this yet, since I am not there yet. At least, it isn’t an actual “assignment”. lol

This is the workbook that came with my textbook. I don’t have to hand this in or anything, but it is a great study aid to do after reading the chapter and taking notes. It comes with an outline for each chapter that I record in a separate Kate Spade notebook. I answer all the questions and do the vocab in the book. I check my answers with the answers page to make sure I understand the material. If I get it wrong, I highlight the answer, so I know that I need to work on it. This even comes with a practice exam for when the time comes.

I love the gold accents and it matches my other notebook perfectly! I love the saying on the front and it perfect for what I wanted it for. I used up my remaining Birchbox points for this guy and I love it!

I got the hair tie as a freebie from Birchbox. I wanted to compare my two notebooks for you and I had to stick that sticker on my planner spread. So cute. Until next time!

Baby Vitamins *Day 22*

For Enfamil Liquid Vitamins A, C, & D Supplement TrViSol

Vitamins

What It Is:

A multivitamin for breastfed infants.

Key Ingredients:

Glycerin, water, Vitamin A, D3, ascorbic acid

How It Smells/Looks/Tastes:

It is a brown colored liquid that smells like Twizzlers and tastes like red licorice rope from when I was a kid.

Why Dean Didn’t Like It:

He hated the taste of this liquid multivitamin. He is now on a different brand and doesn’t have a problem taking it. If your child doesn’t like this vitamin, try a different brand. I didn’t think that it would make a difference and it does. Nothing against this brand, though. My child just doesn’t like it.

It looks like two pieces of thin granola bars and they smell like granola and honey. It also tastes like granola and honey. I enjoyed the crunchy texture. Crunching is very satisfying to me for some reason.

Why I Like It:

It is a healthy and satisfying snack that I really enjoy once in a while. I like to have it as a pick me up with 11 grams of protein. It is my “meat” for the day.

Dresser Clean Out *Day 17*

My whole dresser from the inside out was a mess with all of our clothes. I’ve been cleaning out our clothes more often since having Dean. He grows out of clothes so fast, so I need to keep up with purging clothes and consigning them for a little extra money.Dean just turned 7 months, so I wanted to clean out his 3-6 month old clothes that weren’t fitting him anymore. We also entered Summer, so I wanted to put away the heavier items that still fit him like his fleece sleeping sacks. It seemed like a great opportunity to clean out the places that need cleaning like the dresser, his crib, his “corner”, and the walk in closet. I decided to make it a little series. I hope you like it. I might continue this series for other places in my apartment that need cleaning as well.

The first thing I did was clear off the top of the dresser and throw (or place) everything on my bed. I wiped down the top of the dresser with a Clorox wipe and let that dry. Then, I replaced the items that are necessary back on the top like the lamp and T.V.. I threw out the trash and placed games away. The clothes, I kept on the bed to go through and I put back my planner, album supplies, keepsake baby journal, and some clothing items that I placed in a gallon Ziploc bag. I will be buying some storage for under my bed that these things will go in to save for Dean, when he gets older. Lastly, I place back his toys and a few odds and ends. It looks better now, but it will be much improved with the new storage bins.

I took apart Dean’s drawers first and threw everything on the bed. I then, went through his clothes, piece by piece to see what fits him and what could be consigned, donated, and trashed. His top drawer remains the “underwear” drawer with socks, shoes, onsies or undershirts, and t-shirts. The next drawer, I put in his shorts, jeans, overalls, light sweaters, bibs, outfits, pajamas, cloth sleeping sack, and enclosed feet outfits. I ended up with an empty drawer for him, which is great. I know that it will be filled soon, since two people are giving me some more lightly used baby clothes.

I organized my underwear drawer much the same way and had my dad go through his. The last drawer is a junk drawer for my dad to put odds and ends into. I really need a home of my own instead of an apartment. It’s too small with three of us. Nevermind, when guests come over.

June Reads 2016 *Day 8*

Another month has come and gone and I’ve managed to read two more books in that time. I am happy that I am still a book ahead on my Goodreads goal of reading 25 books in 2016. As I am writing this, I finished an ebook and am almost done with a book from my personal library. I am hoping to read at least four books in July and almost two books down is a good start to the month at only a week in. Here’s what I read in June:

L.A. Candy (L.A. Candy, #1)L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this story. I feel like it is very unique and not just a celebrity endorsement. I don’t know how true this book was to her life story or TV show, but I enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the next book. I also have the first two books of the spin off series. I will definitely be reading them soon now. All of the characters are dimensional for the most part. People are complicated and Lauren Conrad got that part right. I found it to be believable that this could happen, however unlikely as it sounds. It was witty without over doing it and I cannot wait to read the next twisted web of lies and half truths.

Confessions of a Shopaholic (Shopaholic, #1)Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I absolutely LOVED this book to DEATH. It was laugh out loud funny and highly entertaining. I could really relate to all of the cringe worthy moments. I am also drowning in debt, but I don’t spend like her. My debt are all student loans and a car payment. I would never want to be in debt over a pair of Jimmy Choos! I can pay for those by saving up. Her spending was ridiculous, which was partly why this book was so fun. That being said, I found Rebecca to be petty at best and downright childish at worst.

View all my reviews

Now that I’ve reviewed these on Goodreads, I found out that I’m one book behind! It’s funny how in 30 minutes, I fell a book behind. Goodreads is strange. LOL. What have you been reading lately?

March Reads 2016

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

Another month has come and gone. I actually finished two books this past month, which is my goal for every month. I’m happy that I met my goal this month. I will be giving a mini review of both books. It’s really informal like my movie reviews. I just don’t have the time that I used to with full time work, being a mom, and my own limited social life. And I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Bitter Demons (Peachville High Demons, #3)Bitter Demons by Sarra Cannon

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I enjoyed the third book in the Peachville High Demons series, now called the Shadow Demons Saga. It is a very interesting plot about witches and covens, but they are supposed to be good ones not bad ones. Even the good ones though are tied to a demon, which sometimes turns them evil or resentful. I enjoyed the first one more than the next two. I feel like this one was a bit more predictable and not as fun as the first when everything was just so dang new.

I hope the next book gets better from here, because if the series loses another star, I won’t be continuing. I like the originality, but if you keep making it predictable, it will quickly get boring and overtired. I hope it gets better, even though I liked this one. I just don’t want it to be another EVER series fail. Starting off with such promise, than takes a wrong turn into that would never happen and then predictable and boring.

The Carrie Diaries (The Carrie Diaries, #1)The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When Danielle bought me this book for Christmas and I was so excited to read it that I had to read it right away. It became the second book that I finished in March. It was quirky and fun. It was unlike anything that I have ever read before. The only thing I could relate it to is a racy Princess Diaries and even then, its not really like that series. I will read the rest of the books, because I want to know more about what kind of misadventures will happen in New York. This Carrie is refreshingly normal for a main lead and not overly pretty or smart. She’s just your average girl making her dreams come true.

Those are the two books that I got to read in March while pumping away at work. My goal is to read at least two books a month. So far, I have read 5 books, making me one book behind. Maybe, this month will be a good reading month. I’m actually half way through my April book, so I might be able to squeeze in a third. Happy reading!

Nursing Mom Clothing Haul

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

It is so hard to find clothes to fit when you are nursing a two month old. I was shopping for tops for work and at home that would make nursing and pumping easier for me and less of a clothing hassle. I hate shoving his head up my shirt and I fear that the humid air from being trapped in my shirt cuts nursing sessions short, making them more frequent than they have to be. I don’t mind throwing a cover over myself when nursing my son when my dad is around, but I wanted a way to nurse that wouldn’t make my friends uncomfortable. I am fully comfortable nursing my son in front of friends and relatives, but I would never do it in public. That’s just not me. I get limited time to pump at work, so I need clothes that are easy to push aside. I don’t have time to take off layers and put them back on and straighten myself out. That is a few minutes too many. If I have 15 minutes, I want to use twelve minutes on the actual pumping, not ten minutes. At lunch, I’ll be able to pump for 27 minutes and I’ll have 15 minutes left to see my baby. On Mondays, I have an extra 15 minutes to pump as well. The rest of the days, I just have my paid break and lunch.

Let’s get onto the haul!

Macy’s: This baby haul came to $20 USD total, because everything was on clearance. Macy’s is really great for their clearance.

Carter’s Sleepy Sack in 0-9 months:

I love these sleepy sacks! They are great during the Winter time for Dean to sleep in. He can now roll over on his own, so no more swaddling. This is the next best thing and I don’t have to worry about his feet getting cold. It keeps him all warm and snugly. I also love the cute prints as well. The zipper feature is great as well for middle of the morning/night changes. They are ultra soft and Dean seems to enjoy wearing them.

zipper onsie

Carter’s Terry Cloths Onsie in 9 months:

Dean is my little dinosaur and now he can dress like one. I like putting him in this night and day. It soaks up the night sweats and the sweat in the day from the heat in the apartment. We sit on top of the boiler, so it can get hot without the heat on. This is nice and big on him, which helps prevent heat rash from sweating. He has been getting a heat rash/moisture rash from sweat. It is a lot better than it was before. It disappeared off his back and face. It is a bit on his chest, but mostly on his arms. I think it is because he is chubby and the sleeves tend to be a little tight on the arm, resulting in sweat collection. I believe this terry cloth has helped to promote healing of the rash. Again, zippers are my friend.

winter onsie

Carter’s Plush Onsie in 9 months:

My dad spotted this one and it is very plush. This outfit is great for taking your little one out and about. I have a winter blanket thing that attaches to the infant car seat, but when he outgrows the car seat (He is already 11lbs and the car seat only goes up to 20lbs), this would be nice and warm to wear out in the convertible car seat. I also like that it says “Little Guy” on it. I’m always about buying things that fit now and later. He has so much 3 month and 3 to 6 clothes! I have three drawer out of six filled with his clothes! I decided to consign a bunch of my clothes and all the good things that he outgrows. I’m going down with my first batch today. I’ll let you guys know how it goes!

Target: My dad and I both bought clothes here.

denim tunic

Liz Lange Maternity For Target Denim Tunic in Indigo in XXL for $24.99 USD:

I was hesitant to buy this, because I always question buying myself clothes. I knew I needed to buy some new tops though. My boobs made that really apparent. None of my current tops really work for my nursing sized chest. So, new tops was a given. I didn’t get any pants though, because I’m still in my fattest maternity jeans. I get to start an exercise routine tomorrow, so I’m hopefully that I will shed off some pounds in my thighs and butt. I have lost thirty five pounds out of the sixty I gained. I only want to lose twenty pounds. I heard five extra pounds is good for nursing. I’m not in a hurry to lose. I can take my time. It took 10 months to gain. I don’t mind if it takes that long to lose. I really love this top. It is soft and long enough to cover my butt. I plan on wearing this with leggings or skinny pants. I always wanted a denim shirt and this one fits beautifully. I was discouraged at Sears, when none of the tops fit in the Junior section. I guess they think that young people cannot have large chests or something. The button down is a great feature for nursing or pumping at work.

Motherhood Maternity: I spent over $200 USD here. Nursing clothes are EXPENSIVE!

Motherhood Intimates in 36 E in Black and Nude for $24.98 USD Each:

I got one in nude and black. Sorry, I don’t share pictures of my intimates any more. The best basic colors. My older nursing bras that I bought before birth were too small after my milk came in and regulated. I think it was one of the reasons why I got mastitis in my right breast. I love the lacy design and the clip down design. I needed to get a wire supported bra, which leaves marks when I clip the bra down to nurse. It fits comfortably though. I never had a more comfortable wire bra before. There isn’t much more to say, except I miss my bright colored fun bras that I no longer fit into and have to wait over a year to possibly fit back into again. le sigh

IMG_0028

Simple Wishes Hands Free Breast Pump Bra in Baby Pink in I/XL for $34.98 USD:

I love the baby pink color and how well this bra works with any pump. I used this with my electric double pump and my electric single handheld pump. It allows me to be hands free to use my lap top or kindle. It is comfortable, but not as supportive as a nursing bra. I would use this one Mondays at work, where I have to pump three times and have to be a real stickler about the time. Mondays are busy where I work. I have no complaints and I see the value in the money.

Motherhood Maternity Nursing Mock Wrap Top in Navy & Gray in Large for $29.98 USD

Yes, I paid thirty dollars for a nursing top. The prices may be a bit insane, but I did purchase large sizes for my large chest and these have special functions that regular tops just don’t have. You can pull down the grey built in undershirt under one breast and put your child underneath the two wrap layers. Nursing is discreet with nothing to see. This also works well for pumping. The material is very soft and overall, this was worth the thirty. It was just a big shock on how expensive this stuff is, but then again, I’ve seen plenty of clothes at other places be just as expensive. I’m just not use to buying items full priced.

Motherhood Maternity Nursing Tang Top in Navy & White in XL for Free!

There was a clearance sale of buy two get one for free, so this was my free item. It was originally $24.98 USD and reduced to $14.99 USD. I like the side ruching detail and the pull down nursing feature. It is great to put underneath other non-nursing clothes to still get a nursing feature out of it. Fifteen dollars for a tang top is still a lot in my opinion. Oh! All these nursing shirts have elastic underneath the girls for support while nursing.

IMG_0017

Motherhood Maternity Button Down Tunic in Grey & White Pinstripes in XL for $24.99 USD

This shirt was originally $34.98 USD. Since I paid 25 for that other shirt, I don’t consider this a high price to pay. I wasn’t a big fan of it at first, but I love the way I look in it. It sheds off pounds and is very figure flattering with the tie waist feature. It is prettier on than on the rack, that is for sure! It is a stiffer, starchier material than I am used to. I’m trying to have a more appropriate adult wardrobe to be taken more seriously and hey, I have a son now. This fits right in there. I’m still going to have fun with some cool prints and sexy dresses, but I want a more adult style…or more like a young 24 year old would wear who has a kid. Still young but mature at the same time. If you know what I mean.

IMG_0016

Motherhood Maternity Plus in Plaid in 2X for $34.99 USD

I’m noticing that I bought a ton of tunics, but seriously, it is the most flattering on my figure right now and let’s me get away with wearing jeans that right now, are a little too tight to wear with a shorter shirt. I love this cotton soft tunic! It is in a magenta, purple, blue plaid that is simply gorgeous. This originally went for $44.98 USD. It was expensive, but this was the only size that fit my chest comfortably in this style. It may be large, but it fits perfectly on my shoulders and is very comfortable. Again, having a tie waist feature is very figure flattering.

Motherhood Maternity Nursing Cami in Coral Pink in Large for $26.98 USD

Yes, I paid that much for a cami with a built in bra. It is crazy expensive, but very comfortable. It has the clip down feature and is great to wear around the house. I would wear a bra with it, when out and about in it. It isn’t enough support for that. It is the right amount for leisure time at home. This has the ruched siding details on each side as well. I love the bright color and how comfortable it is. I’m all about the comfort these days.

JCPenny’s: I actually found a few regular tops that fit.

IMG_0050

St. John’s Bay Short Sleeve Crew in American Navy in Large for $14.00 USD

There was a buy one get one free and I didn’t realize that clearance was excluded from the promotion. So, I will be returning this and buying two again so I can get the second one for free. This way, I can also use my coupon that I earned for 10 USD off of 25 USD on a jewelry purchase. This is a great undershirt to go underneath my navy polka dot shirt.

IMG_0051

St. John’s Bay Long Sleeve Crew in Chic Pink in Large for $4.79 USD

This was clearance from $16 USD, which is 70% off. I got this to go underneath the pink shirt. I have started to really love pink, especially bright ones. There is just something special about this color that I love.

St. John’s Bay Polka Dot Blouse in Shocking Pink Dot & Navy Dot in XL for $18 USD Each

I got the same blouses in two different colors that is how much I love them! They fit really great. These were buy one get one free, making them 18 each. These ones makes my stomach look thinner as well. This has been long winded, so I’ll end my haul here.

#Julamorous, My Life

Say Hello To July!

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

Wow. I cannot believe that it is July already. Half of the year is already gone and it is just so exciting! I don’t have a lot of favorites, but I do have a few. I loved getting my ultrasound pictures and seeing my baby for the first time. It really made everything real for me, more real than what I was already feeling anyway. It was really fun to go to Monster Jam again with my dad. We really had a blast all day long, even standing in line for two hours was somehow fun. I also had a yummy snow cone, so there was that. Otherwise, I loved ordering and getting my Erin Condren Life Planner. I loved decorating the month spread and my first week spread as well. I don’t think I did any other fun things though. I don’t usually have very eventful months, just years.

I enjoy the little things in life really. I didn’t really buy anything this month, except some clothes and things. If I use up a lot of my stuff this month, I might indulge in a Victoria Secrets/Bath & Body Works haul this summer. Oh! My dogs got their 3 year rabies shots and their licenses to walk around. The tags are bone shaped and PURPLE this year! So cute. Anyways, I’m happy that my dogs will not need to go back to the vets for three more years, unless they develop problems. Serena still needs her three year booster and a checkup though. Shadow needs her blood work in September along with her booster as well. So many appointments to keep track of! Anyhow, that was my month in a nutshell.

With Love,

Selena

My Own Erin

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

I cannot believe that Julamorous will soon be upon us! I have a few ideas for posts, but I don’t have the whole thing planned out. I am thinking that starting next week. I will start to schedule posts for July that way it won’t be a big thing the week before. So, from this week forward until July, I will only have two posts to go up on the week ends, but I will have at least one weekly update during the week. Unless, work gets me to be too busy, then it will just be two posts that week. July will be a new post everyday and in August, I will schedule it so that it is two posts on the weekend and two posts during the week. I think spreading them out is a bit better than having four posts coming out every weekend, because I put all four in one day sometimes. Sorry for plugging up your news feed. lol.

Anyways, you came here to see my new Erin Condren 2015-2016 Life Planner. I bought the 18 month planner in the regular edition. It was a hard decision to make to get one, since I put off buying one last year. I bought a Filofax instead, but I feel like I like it better just to write down my blog posts in. I don’t like the way the weeks are done at all. I like the EC format much better. Also with being pregnant and having a child, my life is going to be so much busier and I need a planner to plan out every week. Not to every minute detail, but to keep track of what needs cleaning, my spa night, honoring the Lord’s Day, reading, blogging, baths for the baby, my million appointments, and quite possibly a college course or two. I have a lot to keep track of, even though I work 5 days a week, I still plan 15 minute cleaning tasks, cooking a dinner, and other things. I think that the days that I work will be more decorated and the weekend will be filled with tasks. It will make me feel good to plan my week and have things to look forward to.

Planner 002

The box is a lot pinker in real life than the salmon color in this picture. It’s a bit beat up, but it protected the goodies inside!

The planner came with some goodies on top in their Welcome package for 1st time buyers, which I think is a very nice touch. I thought that the stickers were so pretty and inspirational. The gift stickers are very useful for me and I am sure that I will use all of them. They are so unique that I am sure whoever is receiving them will like them as well. I think that I will stick them on the envelopes to cards, because I know that I save all of my cards in their envelopes. I also love that they give you a 10 USD off code for your next purchase. I will be using this to get that cute sticker book, coil clips, and possibly a few more stickers. The notebooks and notepads are too expensive for me. I would only consider the notebook for when I take a college online course next Fall to keep track of when assignments are due, tests, and quizzes, as well as taking notes. The deluxe 35 USD notebook would be great for that. In my EC planner, I would put when I would study and when I would have to watch the lectures. Everything else, I could put in the notebook to keep my planner from being too cluttered. Oh! I also received a coupon for a free personalized cover, since I picked the ready to ship option. I am hoping on getting a Rose Gold Foil Cover, even though I would have to pay 4 USD extra for it. The coupon only goes up to a 10.95 value since I got the regular version. It expires in September, so I am ordering it then and I will do a separate order in the same month for the other stuff I want to buy.

Planner 014

I just love the pretty teal color!

I love my new EC Life Planner! It is so pretty! I love the purple color. The flyleaf is beautiful! Not so beautiful? The top part of it is a bit broken, but that’s a minor flaw that I will not freak out about. It just irks that perfectionist in me. It looks a bit plain without the flyleaf. It really makes the planner pop. You gotte love the colorful, durable monthly tabs. I like that the two years at a glance is in the front of the planner. I will be highlighting all of my paydays, so it will be easier to remember when I do the monthly spreads in the future. I also love the two pages of goals. I’m going to be making them monthly goals starting in 2016. They will be great to track Lemon/Dean’s progress of when solid food should start, crawling, and first words. Planner 029Planner 030Planner 031Planner 032

I also like that at the start of every month you have a page for monthly notes and an inspiration quote to keep me inspired. The notes page I will use for things like meal planning, big events, the pet’s, and grocery lists. You can use this page for so many things and I am sure that within a few months, I will find out how I like to use it best. I think it would be great to jot down notes and things to not forget so that you can plan it later as well. I love the monthly spread, which I did not have in my Filofax setup. This will be very useful to me to see when bills are due and how much they are. It will have major things of that day all marked out and it will be a great tool to see all of my days in a month at a glance. It will be easier to keep track of vet appointments and fun nights out. I can juggle all areas of my life better with this planner.

The planner also comes with a clear ruler that you can use to plan the space in your planner. I think it is also convenient to add sticky notes to it for things that come up that you need to do or plan. I love the way the week is spread out and I am a vertical girl. It is easier to see in my brain to plan things out. I like that it has some space for weekly notes that continues onto the bottom of each column. I think that I will use this space for bills, water intake, exercise, and other things that I don’t necessarily want to plan but just keep track off.

Honestly, this advertisement on my birthday month is a waste of space where I could have had a longer Goals line. I will probably cover up with a sticker and a sticky note for extra writing room if I need it.

The end of the planner has some lined notepaper, graph paper, and some blank paper. I think these would work really well with blogging months that I have to plan out all the posts that I will do for the month ahead of time and to list out tasks for them like taking pictures and dates to write out which ones. I feel like they would be real useful for planning events like that. I don’t host parties or do things like that, but these would be nice for it.

Found another small imperfection! But that was all, I triple checked.

In the back of the planner, you also get a 2017 calendar at a glance. You get tons of stickers. I like the vote sticker for the election year, but it is going to take me a couple of years to use all of the birthday stickers. lol. I love that there are blanks included that I can write my own stuff into them to customize them. The other stickers, I will go through quickly, because I go to the dentist, doctor, vacation, etc. I like that there is a folder in the back and a perpetual calendar that I will use as a journal where I write what I am grateful for everyday or any milestones. I love the sample of do it all dots. I think that these would fit well in the monthly spreads to maximize space. I will be ordering these. The compliment cards I could have done without as well as the referral cards. I will use them though. I love the sample of the coil clip. I will be using this to put in my baby’s birth certificate.
