Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum

It should come as no surprise that I have chosen to partner up with Valentia again on one of their amazing serums. This is the third serum that I have tried from them and I have loved every single one of them. This one is no exception. I always use a serum night and day. My skin drinks them up and they actually do something. I hardly use toners, because I don’t think they really work. Using Valentia’s Night Revive Retinol Serum, I saw results in how plump my skin looks and the little bit of acne bumps disappear. Retinol is a great in ingredient for anti-aging, but also for clearing acne.

Here’s what Valentia says about their serum:

Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum – A transformative retinol serum that fights wrinkles and provides hydration, for visibly smoother, rejuvenated skin.

This Retinol Serum Will:
– Diminishes wrinkles
– Stimulates collagen
– Improves skin tone
– Manages breakouts
– Conditions skin

Specially selected ingredients work together to achieve optimum results.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

– Retinol (Vitamin A): Works at the cellular level to stop winkles, manage breakouts, and evens out skin discoloration.

– Vitamin C: Guards skin against environmental free-radicals to prevent premature aging.

– Vitamin E: Provides intense hydration to diminish the drying effects of retinol.

– Squalane: Derived for pure olive oil to soften and condition delicate skin.

The serum sinks right into the skin and feels hydrating. It also feels very light, because the skin just soaks it right up. I am glad that the serum has a dropper instead of a pump. Having a dropper made the process of getting the right amount of serum so easy. The pump made it difficult to get every last drop. I know a bit went to waste, which made me sad. Now, there will be no waste with the dropper. More bang for your buck, since you can use all of it. There is no scent, which I actually prefer, since there are so many scented products these days. I don’t feel overwhelmed with another scented product and I know there is no perfumes to irritate my skin.

Valentia serums are so affordable at 25 to 35 USD (This one is 35) for over 1 fl oz, which is unheard of with other popular Sephora brands. Valentia serums are just as effect, if not more so. I’ve been more impressed with Valentia than my Ole Henrikson serum. Also, message me for a promo code for 20% your purchase of any Valentia product!

Sweet Dreams *Day 14*

For OleHenriksen Invigorating Night Treatment

Treatment gel

What It Is:

An overnight resurfacer with twelve sources of AHA complex in a light gel formula.

Key Ingredients:

? The jar contains little information.

How It Smells/Looks/Feels:

It smells very chemically and oddly enough, a little bit like play dough. It looks clear and the gel is very thin but not watery. It feels smooth going on the skin and sinks right in. It feels a little drying, so I always put moisturizer on afterwards.

Why I Like It:

This did the best job of exfoliating my skin and getting rid of my acne. It actually did peel my skin every morning after I used it. I would have repurchased this, but I found something that I like better. I bought Paula’s Choice 8% AHA Gel, which is basically the same thing as this product except I don’t physically peel the next morning. So, I want to stick with the Paula’s Choice product. It is also a more natural choice as well. I do love love this brand, but I found a similar product that is better and cheaper than this one. It is still a great product though.

February Empties

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

I cannot believe that I only have a handful of empties this month. It seemed like a lot of things were close to being used up, but I guess not. Maybe, I’ll just have a massive empties next month. I’m getting my hair done next month as an early birthday present to myself which is exciting! I don’t get my hair done that often, so whenever I do, I get very excited. I dye my hair about once or twice a year. Last year, I didn’t dye my hair. I got highlights and low lights done in September of 2014 and that was the last time dye touched my head. So, my hair is a virgin again. Danielle couldn’t believe my hair was that dark. She’d never seen my virgin hair and she’s known me for 10 years. Anyways, only 5 empties this month.
