January Empties

Remember when I said that I would be doing a new format for my empty series? Well, here it is, the moment you all have been waiting for. I decided to show my empties in group photos and flat lays to be able to store more pictures of my products rather than have everything in a single photo. It makes more sens to me this way, since I am a reviewing channel and have been deleting a ton of photos to make room for more photos. I hope you all like this new format. Give me a like if you do!

WOW! That was a ton of stuff that I used up in January. I don’t think I have ever used that much up before. I will be posting my update post on my Project 200 Pan soon after this one, which will show you how many out of this 45 I will be counting towards my 2018 challenge. I might be adjusting the challenge and make it harder. I guess, it all depends upon how much of this stuff I am using up.

Animal Crackers

For Gerber Graduates Animal Crackers

food

These cookies went stale, because Dean did not like the taste of these. They are very bland and have so much cinnamon that it doesn’t taste good at all. He ate half of them. He likes regular graham crackers or animal crackers, but these do not taste that great at all. These would be great for the less adventurous toddler who likes more mild flavors. The quality was good. He just likes more flavor. He eats adult snacks now (chips, animal crackers, Ritz, etc) so I would not repurchase. I do recommend though.

Lil’ Crunches

For Gerber Graduates Lil’ Crunches

These are made with whole wheat and they have a melt-able texture that Dean loves. The pictures above are for the beanies, but you get the picture. I have moved him from the crunches to the beanies, which are made with beans. It helps him get enough protein and they are a really healthy snack. These crunches are more like Cheetos for toddlers, but still healthier than actual Cheetos but still. I love having snacks that I can feed him that are not messy. He takes a bath almost every night, but I don’t always have the time to put him in the high chair for him to have his snack. We snack on the go, so these are perfect for that. I always had a can of these in the diaper bag for when we ate out and go to appointments. They keep him occupied when he starts to get fussy.

Snackers

I cannot tell the difference between these and Ritz crackers. I really like these and I would repurchase them. They were pretty cheap at 2 bucks a box, while the cheapest I can get the Ritz is on sale for $3. Now, I will buy the Ritz if it is on sale or if I can get the big family pack for $4, because it is nice to enjoy name brand items. Especially when it is cheaper than the off brand or a better value. Also, the MB snackers can sell out and I won’t be able to find any in the store. Then, I kinda have to buy the Ritz which happens to be on sale a lot at MB. I think people are buying the MB so much that the Ritz isn’t selling, so they have to discount the Ritz.

Mighty Sticks

For Plum Organics Mighty Sticks in Berry Beet

food

These were so healthy for Dean and he really enjoyed them. They are really overpriced for how many that you get in the box. Over $3 for six snacks. I like that they are made with 100% whole grains and that the brand gives back to the community. This snack is great for toddlers that are still gumming food, but this food goes too fast with a toddler who has a full mouth of teeth. I highly recommend this product, but I will not be repurchasing it.

Fruit & Grain

For Great Value Fruit & Grain Apple Cinnamon

food

Dean and I both love soft granola bars. I have repurchased the Market Basket brand in the berry flavor (Blueberry?) and that one is a hit as well. Dean usually eats half the bar at a time and I break it up into small, easy to eat pieces. It can be very messy, so I always feed him this in his highchair as part of his morning snack between breakfast and lunch. I am surprised that he can eat that much of the bar, but he loves to eat. It really shouldn’t surprise me, but it does. It is made with whole grains and real fruit filling, so it is a healthier snack. Half of the bar will give you 6 grams of sugar, 1g of protein, and 1.25 g of total fat. Half of a bar is 70 calories, so it is very filling to a 21.5 pound little boy, who loves to eat everything in sight.
