week 4 – Home Sweet Phoenix Cove

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

I usually post this on Thursday, but I totally forgot to yesterday! I was just so busy figuring out what bills needed to get paid, reading a new book that I just started (it’s called Old Magic), and writing a book review to (hopefully) put up this weekend. I might be getting tickets to see Ron White perform at a theater. He is a comedian, for those of you who have never heard of him or The Blue Comedy Tour. I am so excited! I am trying to figure out this weekend, if I can afford the 113 USD for two tickets and a guaranteed parking space. Hopefully, I will be able to buy them for Feb 22nd. I am continuing to go strong on my ban. I haven’t purchased a single beauty product. I might buy some eye gel if I run out of the current one that I am using. I might also buy an eye cream as well, since I don’t have one. Maybe, I’ll just buy an eye cream and use it night and day. Yes, I like the sound of that. I already have an empty and I know that I am super close to finishing 6 more products this month. This month is the month of empties apparently. I might post up some extra review posts. We will see. I don’t have much more to report for this week’s update.

Heya Aspiring Gurus!

It is time to do my weekly recap. I can once again say that I have not bought any beauty related products this past week, but I have bought two new songs (to me) this week. I am totally addicted to both of them. You guys probably know one of them and the other, you will be like who? What? Okay, so the first song that I bough was Blank Space by Taylor Swift. I think it is the best song off of the album and I have been playing it on repeat. Is it bad that I can relate to it? Anyways, the second song that I bought was 135n9 by Lucas Grabeel. If you don’t know who that is, then you never watched HSM (High School Musical) or any of its sequels (there were two, not including the spinoff where he is in it for like the last 5 minutes of the movie).

I LOVE HIM! I was convinced that I was going to marry him someday, but he is engaged. For now, I will settle by keeping up with his music. I wish that he would make an album, but his song are really cheap. 1 USD a song, which is very reasonable. TS was 1.29 USD. I had a 3 dollars credit and I still have some money. I might just buy his other new song and just spend the 20 odd cents to get it. It is called A Beautiful Day. I love music. I do not know how I would make it through life without it.
