I have another month of empties to share with all of you. I used up a lot of items this month and I am hoping to finish up even more in March. My skincare cabinet has a bit of room to it now. My first thought was to bring in more items from my back stock, but I have refrained from doing that so far. I wanted to bring in another face mask, but I already have 5 open. lol. I love skin care products, but I am trying to convince myself that a little bit of room is good to be able to comfortably reach everything without knocking bottles over.

Gosh, 41 items in the month of February is a lot of items to get through in a very short month. I am very excited to see what March brings. So far, my basket is empty, but that was how Feb started and I ended up with 41 empties. I love getting rid of so much stuff and not wasting it either. I am excited to see how many of these items count towards my Project 200 pan. I feel like at this rate, 200 might be a real achievable goal for me. If I reach it too soon, then I will up my goal depending upon how many months are left in the year.
With Love,
i have a habit over overfilling my cabinet as well. it’s dangerous with products in glass bottles. i’ve broken a few perfume samples by accident. not fun cleaning up glass!
No, it isn’t! So, even though I am tempted by all the space in there, I don’t open anything if I already have something like that opened. It’s a struggle with the skincare, but my makeup shelf is so easy to keep barely furnished. It helps that every month I only choose like 6 items to put in there, but I’ve always been more into skin care than makeup. I love makeup, but great skin care always came first to me. You have less to cover if your skin is taken care of.
That is true. I also keep my hair products in the cabinet. A full size dry shampoo can take up a lot of space! Anything full size really. Also masks which I don’t use every day or every other day like the rest of the products in my cabinet.
My shelf is only skin care. Little bits of hair stuff is on my bathroom sink. lol. But I am getting much better, even my dad agrees. 🙂
Everything I use is in mine, hair, face, and whatever lotion and body spray I’m currently using. It helps me remember to actually use it. I was picking out a different lotion to use as the one I’m currently using is almost gone and my stash has gotten a lot smaller which I’m glad about. If I left my own supplies on the sink my family would be knocking them over all the time! Lol
LOL. Yeah, it’s only my dad and I here and I tend to put things out of the way, so they aren’t knocked over. Still happens some times though. My stash has gotten considerably smaller as well. We are almost three months in and I haven’t bought anything that is sitting in storage right now. Everything that I bought, I needed and I feel good about it. I bought that new hair mask, because I am almost out. That is sitting but I know that I will be cracking into it soon enough. I have a third of my Lush hair mask left and it is a runny consistency. It will not last long.
That is good. I’ve just started using the Amika hair mask, it’s okay but others have been better. I think the only one I have left is a full size tube from garnier that came in a target box ages ago. Did you get the new Walmart box yet? I got mine probably a month ago but have been forgetting to post about it. I think I may end up canceling eventually do I don’t have any new products come in but I usually use the stuff I get from them up pretty quickly.
Nope. I haven’t gotten my Winter box yet. Ohh! I want to see what you got!
I’ve uploaded the pictures it’s just a matter of typing it up. I feel like they’re starting to improve the selection which is nice. They used to have a lot of toothpaste samples.
No toothpaste?! Lol. I’m excited for it, but it’s Spring and my Winter box isn’t here. The Spring box is supposed to be launching now. They are unreliable.
It’s really weird that mine comes on time but yours doesn’t? Maybe they’ve had a big increase in customers. They need more employees I think.
If other companies can do it every month, then they should be able to do it 4times a year. So, now I’m waiting for the Winter and Spring box.
i agree, but i’m also not surprised because walmart isn’t know for the best employee treatment or customer service.
Kinda like my place of employment. lol.
Ha! Walmart is much worse to their employees. They don’t provide any kind of health coverage or benefits, rarely offer any kind of raises or promotions. They maybe get $20 gift cards for Christmas and lunch once a month, but that’s basically it. I think they do it to boost morale because everyone working there is pretty unhappy. Most of the managers are mean. I only know this because my brother mentions it.
Same as Kmart. They both suck. You get nothing at Christmas time. Occasionally, they would buy lunch. The discount was 20% off of clothes and 10% for everything else. I only used the 20% at Sears. 🙂
Same with McDonald’s except they’re even worse. No raises, no bonuses. Kelley has been there since 2012 or 13, and has been making the same wage. A teenager could start today and they would be making the same. It’s terrible.
That’s how it was at Kmart too. No raises, no PTO days. Also, they kept you strictly “part-time” making you work 7 days a week.
i think that may be for insurance purposes? at least in ri and ct. you work the maximum number of hours to be part time so hey don’t have to insure you. once your full time i guess hey do.
