Makeup Collection June 2019: Eyes

I am starting off my makeup collection with all of my eye products. This is everything in use and in storage. This is every single piece of eye makeup that I own. I enjoy makeup and collecting pieces of makeup. Skincare and makeup is my passion and what I love wearing, buying, and reviewing. I enjoy blogging about all of this in my free time. As far as makeup is concerned, I will not be going out and buying any this year. I already made my birthday purchase and I tend to only indulge then. Black Friday, is usually for skincare, body care, and perfume if needed. I usually like to indulge in food at Christmas, so I like to buy gingerbread houses and things like that. Any makeup that comes to me this year will be from my FitFabFun box. So, I really want to make some progress in six months with some of these items being used up.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara

I have only one mascara and it is currently being used. I will be needing a mascara to replace this one, however, both my mom and my best friend has said that they have some mascara that they don’t want. So, I don’t think that I’ll need to go out and buy one. If I do need to buy some, I would buy the Sephora Lashes to Go kit that is $25 for 5 minis and a coupon to redeem a full size. That sounds like a hell of a deal. That’s like 3 years of mascara, since you can have a tube open for 6 months.

20190529_103149.jpg

I have three glitter eye shadows. One is a balm and the other two are the Stila Glitter & Glows. I would like to use these up this year. I have already hit pan in two of them. I want to use up 1 by the end of the year for sure. These are very easy to throw on. I just apply with the wand and I’m done. This is one and done liquid glitter eye shadows. I tend to want to do quick looks in the morning before work. These glitters might be a little fancy for work, but who doesn’t need a little glitter in their life?!

20190529_103250.jpg

I only have one quad and one trio. The quad is all shimmers and the formula is very pigmented and wet feeling. I really love it. The cream and brown is great for a simple eye look. The rusty red would be good for the Fall and the blue is bright for Spring or Summer. The trio has two mattes and one shimmer in the middle. This is perfect for a basic eye look for work. I’m going into the office 5 times a week soon. I am sure that I will start seeing progress on my eye shadows then. Both of these can be very quick, easy, and work appropriate.

20190529_103830.jpg

These are my two priming eye products. One is the Urban Decay Eye primer that I use with powder eye shadow that I want to last all day. The Dr. Brandt is an under eye primer for correcting dark circles that you use over your eye cream. I see it more as a makeup product than as a skin care one.

20190529_103954.jpg

These are all my eye shadow palettes. The oldest is my Smashbox palette that I have thirteen eye shadows remaining in it. I need to start putting them in my projects, but it is a bulky palette. I need to make room for it. There are 6 mattes and 7 shimmer/metallic shades in there. It is very basic for work and all the colors are very blendable. I have already hit pan in two eye shadows. For my project pan. I might rotate all my eye shadows in every week to get progress and use out of all my eye shadows. That could be super fun. The ELF palette was a free gift with purchase and again, this would be a really good palette for work appropriate looks. It has 4 matte shades and 6 shimmer/metallic shades. I’m excited to use the pink and rose gold shade. There is a nice base shade and I like the champagne shimmer. I probably won’t get much use out of the darker shades, but I won’t mind chucking this palette after I finish the first 6 shades. I am super excited about my Ciate palette that I just bought for my birthday. It has 3 pressed glitters, 4 mattes, and 2 metallics/shimmer shades. I think it is a beautiful palette for work and for going out as well. I am itching to play with this palette and make some pretty looks.

20190529_103924.jpg

I have 4 eye liners that I cannot use in my waterline. I want to use these up, so that I can buy some gel eye liners to put in my waterline and tight line. I can use the silver and the nude as an inner corner highlight. The blue and grey, I need to find other uses for. Maybe, I’ll use them as an eye shadow or to line my bottom lashes. I only use eye liner in my waterline. My hooded eyes are too hooded to use eyeliner as it was intended. My line always ends up wonky.

20190529_104049.jpg

I have 6 cream eye shadows. I am currently trying to use up a nude eye shadow stick. The other stick is in rose gold. I have a cream moss green neutral shade and a metallic purple that I need to apply sheer to use it up. I have a moussey white gold jelly eye shadow color that is beautiful. The last potted one is a gold metallic shade that is very neutral to wear. I love the ease of cream eye shadows, but I also love standard eye shadow as well. It really depends what I’m in the mood for.

20190529_103900.jpg

I have two single shadows. One is a peachy pink and the other is a blue in a stick format with a sponge applicator. I’d like to use both of these up and get them out of my collection. We shall see. I want to get use out of all of my eye shadows, because as I write this post, I seriously want to use everything.

20190529_104010.jpg

Lastly, I have two duos and they are all shimmers. The green eye shadow, I am not interested in using. I love the gold though. Once I use the gold up, I will be decluttering the green color. It is too dark for my hooded eyes. The purple and frosted white are both beautiful colors to wear together. I use the purple on the lid and the white as an inner corner highlight.

The more I think about it, the more I do want to cycle through my eye shadow products and get use out of all of them. I will work out a way by my Summer project pan. I am thinking of introducing 4 products: one for each week whether a palette or a single. I could then use one a week and one the next update choose 4 more. I’ll comment on if I declutter a shade or hit pan/used one up, but will comment very little otherwise since I’m not using any of these consistently enough to show progress on them. Hopefully, I can move some stuff up before the end of the year.

With Love,

Selena

Spring Project Pan: Update

I am super happy with the progress that I have been able to make with all of my products. I will be making progress marks on anything that still has product left in them and if I finished anything up, I will tell you what product(s) I am bringing in to get use out of or play with. I can already say that being able to bring in an item that I really want to use is a HUGE motivator for me to use up what is in my project pan. I decided instead of rotating a new product to pan in, I will just be rotating in whatever I want to use and play with. I thought that maybe I couldn’t do seasonal project pans, but now, I see that I just needed a proper motivator. Choosing just 5 items to pan makes it easy for me to focus on them and move them out, knowing that I can play with a Stila glitter shadow or a new highlighter. Also, 5 items are so reasonable. It is enough to get almost a full look of products, but not too much where I feel overwhelmed by how much I have to use up. I also will ALWAYS make sure to include a “cheat” product that is super easy to pan, so I can get that motivating product to help me go through the rest of my pan items.

That was a long intro, but I am just in a rambly mood today. I also have so many new things in my collection that I am excited to play with everything, but I also have some existing pieces that I am still excited at getting a chance to use during my project pans. I do better with a narrow focus (less items) when it comes to a project pan and flexibility in order to not get bored. Plus, the more I push out/use up, the more items that I can buy and know that I love bringing into my collection.

20190416_133957.jpg

The above is what we started with in the beginning of this project. Now, that is has been a month and a half, I am ready to give an update on my progress so far. This project wraps up on the first day of Summer, so this will be the only update. I was hopeful to use up 3 or 4 items out of this project by the finale. Let’s see how I’ve done thus far.

DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Eau De Parfum, 0.5 fl oz FINISHED

Granted, there wasn’t much of this perfume left, but it did last a month of daily use. Sometimes, I also sprayed this before bed as well. This perfume was nice and long lasting. It is also very Spring and not my favorite, so I am happy to have it out of my collection and used up at the appropriate time to use it during the year. I want the Be Delicious Green Apple, but I have to move out a few more perfumes first. It will be my Summer scent. I love the DKNY apple perfumes. They are hands down my favorite with Elizabeth and James, which I want Bourbon for a nice Fall scent. I enjoyed this perfume, but happy that it no longer clutters my vanity.

20190510_110310.jpg

B&BW Twilight Woods, 0.28 fl oz

This is not the fun replacement that I am replacing my perfume with in this project, but I thought that I would share what perfume I will be wearing until Summer begins. This is a beautiful sweet scent that I love that is long lasting from Bath & Body Works. They no longer make this exact scent. The current Twilight Woods smells nothing like this. I have about 2/3rds of this perfume left. I’m not looking to use it up. I’m just enjoying it until my Summer Project pan scent. This is a scent that I would pan in the Fall.

Too Faced Bronzed Peach Melting Powder Bronzer in Toasted Peach

This is the item that I am having fun with after using up my project pan perfume. It is a super nice glowy bronzer that disappears into my skin. I have never had any bronzer look as natural as this one does on my skin. Too bad they are discontinuing it, because this bronzer is amazing. I apply this bronzer with my finger. I swirl my finger around the bronzer and dot it along my forehead, nose, under my cheek bones, and along the jaw line. I take my ELF Blending Brush and blend it into my skin. It leaves a beautiful sun kissed look that is natural. The shimmer isn’t too much and just gives the skin a glowy look. I have been SO into a glow lately. My skin looks fantastic with a bit of glow rather than the matte face I’ve been doing. This bronzer isn’t orange nor brown. It just melts into my skin. If you want more obvious bronzer, this may not be the right product for you. Oh yeah, and it smells fucking amazing.

MARC JACOBS Sugar Sugar Enamored High Shine Gloss

OMG. I didn’t realize how much of my MARC JACOBS lipgloss I used up until I had to take out the stopper to see a tiny bit left at the bottom of the tube. I will have no problem using up the rest of this before the project is done. I will be so happy to be one lippie next. I would purchase this brand of lip gloss again, just not this color. It is a concealer/sick color on my lips. It was just way too light and not a good color for me. I use this at my desk at home alternating with my favorite lip balm at the moment which is Palmer’s. I find that lip gloss goes pretty fast once you take the stopper out. I will always add a lippie into my project pan, even if I don’t use it up completely. They need attention and I have way too many, but I love it!

MAC PREP N PRIME FIX + In Lavender FINISHED

I knew that this would be an easy win, but I am happy to have it out of my collection still. I am switching to work on my coconut scented one, which will NOT be featured in my next project pan. Based on how long this one lasted, I do not think it will be used up in that amount of time. Plus, I use this every time I do my makeup without fail. I don’t need the extra motivation to use it up. I am keeping it to “Back2MAC” the whole set of three, which counts as one. I need a few more MAC empties to utilize the program. I don’t currently own enough MAC to do it. lol

20190520_100204.jpg

MAC PREP N PRIME FIX + In Coconut

This is a full bottle. This will not be my fun replacement in the project. I just wanted to show you what I’ll be using to prime my face and add hydration to the skin. I love these, but I do not feel like it is a necessary step. I just bought them when they were on sale for $12 for a set of 3 minis. I would much rather use a regular primer and setting spray at the end to seal in my makeup. I will happily use these up and accept them as gifts. Also, I would grab them again on sale. At full price, they do not have a priority in my skincare nor makeup routine.

20190520_101316.jpg

STILA GLITTER IN GLOW in Rose Gold Retro

I have a big window in this already and this is my fun replacement. I put the cream eye shadow down as a base and I put this on top. I want to use these up before they dry out on me. I really love them, but they seem to start to dry out fast. I have three pressed glitters in a palette now, so I feel good about using these ones up. They are very beautiful. Once I use up all of my cream eye shadows, I would buy another mini set of these. Ideally, I would like to have a nude cream stick and minis of these after I use up everything in my collection. I might be able to use this up in a month. I would say that I have a third of this left. We shall see. This isn’t something that I wear everyday, but only when I have time to add an extra pop.

PIXI Sheer Cheek Gel in 002 Sun Kissed

I have made a nice dent in this blush. I’m not sure that I can use the whole thing in a month by the finale, but this will be something that I will use up this year. I won’t be rolling this into my summer project, because I actually want to pull in that other cheek gel to try to use up. If I use that one up before the end of the project, I will put this one in there. I love cheek gels in the summer for an effortless look. I kinda love it year round tbh. lol. I just can’t get away with that sunkissed look in the winter, which is when powders come in handy.

Laura Eye Caviar Stick in Bare Nude

I think I finished a 1/3 or a 1/4 of what I started out with. I am unsure if I will finish it in time, but I am very impressed by how much I have used up since I started the project. I have been using this almost every time that I wear makeup and I love how effortless it is to achieve a nude eye look. It is a one and done cream eye shadow, which I do love for quick looks. That being said, you could easily achieve this with a powder eye shadow as well. However, when I use powders, I always use at least 3. I use my base eye shadow or lid shade, crease, and another to darken the outer V. Once I finish all my creams, I would like to pick up a nude one for quick out the door days. Otherwise, I am perfectly happy with my powder eye shadows and creating different looks.

I have used up 2/5 in this project so far and I will for sure use up 1 more item by the end of the project. For me, any used up item is a success in a project pan. I also know that I have been using everything on a consistent basis. I love doing these shorter project pans, because I can rotate through my collection better. It is no surprise that I used up my two easy items. For my Summer project pan, I think I will give myself 1 easy item to have a bit more of a challenge. If you are doing a project, leave a link or comment down below and I’ll go check yours out. I’m enjoying everything and that’s what counts!

Selena

Birthday Hauling: ELF

Last but certainly not least is my ELF haul. There would have been a LUSH haul as well, but my tub isn’t getting fixed until June. It would be a moot point to buy anything now and I doubt that I’ll want to take many baths during the summer. So, a Fall Lush haul is most likely in my future which is fine with me. I’ll make sure to stock up on my favorite Halloween and Christmas staples. For my ELF haul, I basically stocked up on makeup wipes and makeup brushes that were desperately needed in my collection. I ended up with 2 freebies as well, so I am happy about that. My whole haul was $27 USD and change. I need the $25 to get free shipping.

20190508_134439.jpg

ELF Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths

Each 2 pack was $5, so I spent $10 on makeup wipes for an 80 ct. I think this is a fantastic deal if they work well. I am halfway through my morning cleansing water, which I bought these as replacements for. I am also sometimes really lazy at 11 oclock at night and I thought that these would be really convenient to not sleep in my makeup. I want to keep my skin as clear as possible, especially since I struggle with acne prone skin. Nowadays, its mostly texture acne that I deal with, but still, gotta keep this face clean.

ELF Lip Exfoliator in Mint Maniac

I bought this for $3 to replace my Lush potted lip scrub which is almost used up as a backup since I won’t be doing my Lush order for a few months. By then, the Coco-Cola one should be back in season. The cherry cola is my favorite lip scrub that Lush makes, so I will be a happy girl when I can have it in my life again. Using a lip scrub has become a daily part of my night routine before I wash my face. My lips have never been in better condition. No flakes, plumb, and liquid lippies look fantastic and are easy to apply (as long as the formula is good).

ELF Lash & Brow Wand

I bought this for $1. It is totally worth $1. I use this to comb my brows into place and through my lashes to get rid of any clumps. It won’t work if the mascara is reallllly clumpy, but for minor clumps, it works like a charm. I think I need a lash comb to salvage clumpy mascara, but at that point, I think I’d rather just chuck the mascara. This was much needed in my brush collection though as I had none.

ELF Pointed Powder Brush

This is so incredibly soft! I paid $6 for this brush, mainly for baking/putting powder under my eyes and setting concealer. I can see using this to set my whole face though if I used foundation. I have a big fluffy powder brush, but it is more geared towards the body with how big it is. This is a better size for the face with more control. I can go back to using the other powder brush to apply my Lush powdered dry shampoo. I am so happy to have new brushes in my collection to help my powders perform better. I bet I will see a big difference. I actually like the ELF brushes better than Real Techniques.

ELF Angled Blush Brush

I actually got this $4 makeup brush for free for my birthday. This will be great for blending out blush and contouring the face. I might reserve this for contouring and use a different brush for blush. The angle is perfect for getting under those cheekbones. I have a kabuki brush that I usually use for blush from ECO TOOLS. It is a nice freebie. It isn’t as soft as the other brushes that I bought, but it is still soft and not scratchy.

ELF Ultimate Blending Brush

I bought this brush for $6 and again, the ones with the white tips are super duper soft. I have that dupe Artist foundation brush, but I hate it. I want to be able to chuck it and a few other brushes, but I needed to buy replacements for them first. I wanted a really good blending brush to buff foundation into the skin. I am so happy to have a few brush “empties” for May. I cannot wait to actually use this brush. I have a particular foundation stick from Hourglass that I want to try with this. I have tons of foundation samples that need to be used up before I purchase one from Sephora. I only buy high end base products, so that it doesn’t clog my skin and is healthier for my acne and texture prone skin. Ingredients really do matter and Sephora has a better selection of cruelty free brands. I would try a foundation or cc serum from ELF though, because I haven’t had a problem with their products breaking me out.

ELF Need IT Nude Eyeshadow Palette

I also got this $10 eye shadow for free. I am actually happy to have this in my collection. It has good buildable pigmentation, which is what I look for in an eyeshadow palette. I don’t like anything too pigmented unless its a lid shade like the Stila Glitter and Glows. It is soft, but I have felt softer and it has a tendency of being chalky with the matte shades. My Ciate palette is higher quality and doesn’t do that. It is really good for a $10 10 pan palette. That is $1 an eye shadow. The metallics are beautiful and by far my favorite from this palette. I do like the matte rose as well though, even though it didn’t show up great in my photos. The three browns on the end are virtually the same swatched out. The one in the middle has gold flecks in it. They aren’t too dark though, so they will be usable on my hooded eyes for darkening the outer v. This is a great palette for nudes when using other eye shadow products that I have to build a complete look. I’m sure I will have a few pans showing this year.

Birthday Hauling: Etsy

If you have seen my previous post on my new vintage obsession, then it should come as no surprise that I picked one up. The shop that I bought from ended up being 3 days late on shipping it out to me, so they included a gift that was on my list as well. So, I got 2 for the price of one, which I am very happy about. It’s nice of the shop to have included it, but they also must have a ton of them laying around. Both of my items are new old stock, meaning that they are old from the 1960s and 1930s, but never opened or used. I had plans on using one to store my face powder, but it is quite large as you will see and filled with perfumed powder. I haven’t decided if I will use the powder, keep it intact, or dump it out and fill it with my own or with other things. I know it isn’t recommended to use, but it is only perfumed powder used on the body. Either way, they are lovely display pieces.

As you can see this, pretty piece is actually quite large. It is from the 1960s and I just love the design and color of it. It is made of heavy duty plastic but appears to be glass upon looking at it. It is an elegant piece. As I develop my collection, I might decide to give away pieces of my collection. I can see this staying with the aesthetic that I am going for. I am very happy with my purchase and it was really inexpensive as well for this piece.

I love this cute little box and had it in my cart, but did not buy it. It was included because of the delayed shipping as a gift. A paperboard box will not sit in my collection, but it is a pretty piece. It is from the 1930s and I am keeping it for now. If I find someone else interested in vintage pieces, I might give them this one. It isn’t going to stay in my collection long term. I want real weighted pieces, so cardboard doesn’t fit in with that. It is VERY pretty though and happy that I have it. I guess perfumed powder was just very popular back then instead of liquid perfume.

Birthday Hauling: Sephora

I did a little Sephora haul for my birthday and I spent $57 USD and some change. I was very frugal as I usually spend $100 at Sephora alone for my birthday. I organized everything by samples, free gift with purchase, birthday gift, and purchases from low to high. I am brimming with excitement over everything that I have picked up. I have swatched everything out and it is so beautiful. Everything is exactly how I thought it would be. I read so many reviews and do a lot of research before I pick anything up at Sephora. It is an expensive place to shop and I want to end up with something that I will more than likely love instead of return.

20190506_133428.jpg

High Expectations Cannabis Facial Oil

This is wierd, but I am just going to put it in my bathroom with my skincare to use up the sample this month.

20190506_133455.jpg

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream

I am excited to have another sample of Drunk Elephant and I will put this in with my skin care to use up this month. I don’t want these samples building up again.

20190506_133511.jpg

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in Unscented and Honeysuckle Vanilla

These are always nice to try and I already know that I love this sample. I am putting it in my bathroom to use up immediately.

20190506_133526.jpg

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

I am happy to have snagged a baby size of this to try as it is on my Sephora Love’s List to buy (and the Avocado one). I am putting this baby size in my bathroom immediately as well, because I have been dying to try it. I do have another sleeping mask open, but this is more of a gel and does something different than my other one. It smells like a watermelon jolly rancher, but also a bit fresh in the after note. I am sure that I will be out of this baby soon enough. It is a third of an ounce, so enough to make a decision if I want to purchase a full size or not.

20190506_133541.jpg

Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser & Protini Polypeptide Cream Duo

This was the birthday gift that I picked this year, because I do not support Kat Von D. I still would have picked this up though, because I have been dying to try Drunk Elephant products. I even added a kit to my Love’s List since my declutter post. I am putting the cream immediately into my bathroom as I need a gentle night time cream for after treatments and harsh masks. The cleanser will be put away as I am using something else at the moment as my night time cleanser. I only use a cleansing wipe or water in the morning after a thorough night routine.

Too Faced Bronzed Peach Melting Powder Bronzer in Toasted Peach

I paid $10 for 12.5 grams of bronzer, which I feel is a steal. I only paid a third of the original price making this essentially drug store. The packaging is super adorable and it smells lightly of peach. I don’t find the scent too strong and I really like it. It contains a nice mirror and the bronzer isn’t shimmery. It is glowy, but I don’t feel like it is too much. Even though I have oily skin, I have been into glowy skin and makeup looks lately rather than my matte go to. The bronzer isn’t too brown or orange on me and blends out to be very light. I can be light handed and also build this bronzer up. It is the perfect color for my light skin and it will still match me in the summer since I can build up the color. The cream to powder formula is really nice as well. I like to dab with my fingers and buff out with a buffing brush. It’s perfect.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Highlighting Fluid in Skywalk

I paid $14 which is half priced for this beautiful light blue highlighter. I have heard good things about it being used as an under eye corrector for dark circles that brightens up the area and makes them disappear. This is for sure opaque and a lovely highlighter. You can have it look straight up purple/blue on the skin or blend it in for a diffused lit from within look. It is very thin and lightweight. I can see why it was made in the Naked line. Right now, I just got an under eye corrector in a FITFABFUN box, so I will wait on using this as an under eye corrector. I will be using it as a pretty highlight though. I have been dying to get one in this shade. Blue/purple highlights look really nice on my skin tone and really brighten up my face. Put on my cupid’s bow, it makes me teeth look whiter as well. Overall, I am really happy with this already and I’m sad that it’s being discontinued. I love this cream highlighter and I don’t usually like creams/liquids. It really has to be something special for me to not put it in a project pan.

Ciate London Glitter Storm Palette

I paid $30 and saved $10 off the original price of the palette. I wasn’t going to get a palette originally, but those glitters?!!!! They stole my heart and swatched out, they still look lovely. These are one finger swipe swatched btw. I wanted to see how opaque they were. I like to build up my eye shadow. These have amazing pigmentation. The glitters have a nice eye shadow base to them and I love them all. My favorite glitter would have to be Firestorm, which is the red/pink one. None of the colors are too dark for my hooded eyes. The packaging of the palette is pretty to look at and very weighted. It feels expensive like a $30 palette. The only color I don’t get in this palette if Whirlwind which is the matte peachy shade. It’s a sore thumb. They could have done a soft rose or a cream and it would have looked a lot better. Still using every shade though. I am so excited! This palette is very me, which is why I bought it. This palette will motivate me to use up my project pan items, so I can bring this out and play with it.

I am so happy with my Sephora purchase! Not one product disappointed me right out of the gate that I purchased. I am looking forward to playing around with all of my new makeup. Hopefully, I move out some project pan items in order to do so. Keep my motivation up. I tend to lose motivation around products. I might switch it up and do a monthly makeup rotation instead……let’s see how I do with the first project.

Birthday Hauling: Marshall’s

I went birthday hauling online and in store for the month of May. I shopped at Marshalls, Etsy, Sephora, and ELF. Then, my boyfriend and I decided that we are going to get a hedgehog. I had cashback on a credit card, a rebate, and I added in a few extra dollars for my birthday. I save my cashback all year to spend on my birthday, so I don’t break the bank. lol. Hedgehogs are initially an investment with buying their habitat and the hedgehog themselves. After that, it is a low maintenance pet and very affordable. I am super excited to be getting a hedgehog! It’s going to be a boy and we already picked out his adorable little name. I am hoping in a few months we will be able to buy one. I want to make sure funds aren’t too tight with affording daycare before committing to a pet.

BECCA X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette

I bought this face palette for $19.99, so half off the original price of $40. We were supposed to see a movie on date night, but it was all sold out. We went out to eat instead and browsed at the mall. I wasn’t sure whether I wanted this palette or the Aurora Highlighter Palette by Anastasia. I ended up going with Becca, because it is a face palette and I already know that I love the formula of her products. I love, love, love the packaging on this. It is super pretty! I have no clue who Chrissy Teigen is. I bought this solely as a Becca product.

From Left to Right: Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Rose Gold, Luminous Blush in Hibiscus Bloom, Sunlit Bromzer in Malibu Soleil, and Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Beach Nectar.

I love this palette! I love all of the colors in it. The bronzer isn’t too orange or muddy. It is the perfect brown that can be worn light or built up. The blush is the prettiest pink flush that I know I will be reaching for a lot over the summer. The rose gold highlighter would look good with a bit of a tan, but I can still use it now with a light hand. The peach would be perfect year round and great in the winter. It would be very work appropriate for a glow. I love this palette so much. I might pull it into my next project pan just to get some use out of it.

Sephora Loves List

Today, I am going through my loves list and ITS MY BIRTHDAY TODAY. I am printing my whole Loves List in this post. I will be telling you what I am removing, what is staying, and which items I want to purchase for my birthday that I really want. I usually indulge a bit for my birthday month and I recently accumulated points to spend on my credit card and I received a rebate in the mail. I usually spend about $100 to $200 on myself for my birthday. I know that I got a tattoo earlier this year that I said was a birthday gift to myself, but I spoil myself. It’s the only time of year besides Black Friday where I really indulge myself. Otherwise, I put everything I have into my son. So, I put myself on a self-induced low buy every year and it’s good for my collection. I want to move a ton of makeup out this year.

Too Faced Bronzed Peach Melting Powder Bronzer – Peaches and Cream Collection
COLOR: Toasted Peach – soft bronze .44 oz/ 12.5 g
WAS $30.00 NOW $10.00

Too Faced - Bronzed Peach Melting Powder Bronzer – Peaches and Cream Collection Toasted Peach .44 oz/ 12.5 g

I am SUPER EXCITED about this one. I already put it in my cart. It is 1/3 of the price and something that I have had my eye on. Do I need it? No, I do not. I am a big fan of a bronzy glow though and I am allowing myself a $50 Sephora purchase for my birthday to get my free birthday gift. I would love to own something by Too Faced and I use bronzer. I know that this will be used. I do have two other cream bronzer/contours but they are in my Smashbox palette that is REALLY bulky and I always forget to pull it out. I will need to put it in my Summer Project Pan. I need to decide if I like the creams or if I only like the powders. I need to use up the creams if I like them.

BECCA Iconics: Prime, Brighten and Glow Trio
WAS $40.00 NOW $30.00
($70.00 value)

Becca

I have tried the primer before. I am a big fan of BECCA highlighters and I really want to try the under eye corrector. Having said this, this will not be going into my basket for my birthday. I just bought a BECCA limited edition kit at Marshalls, I just got an undereye corrector in my FITFABFUN, and I have a full sized primer that needs to be used up. I don’t need to go out and purchase this kit, but I do like it and will keep it on my loves list until it goes out of stock.

BECCA Glow Essentials Kit
WAS $39.00 NOW $29.00
($68.00 value)

Becca

Again, this is another BECCA set with two primers, a mini highlighter, and a mini lip gloss. I don’t need this, but it is staying on my Loves List because it is an incredible value.

Ciaté London Glitter Storm Eyeshadow Palette
WAS $42.00 NOW $30.00

s2115434-main-zoom

This palette is small and absolutely stunning. All of these colors would be usable on my hooded eyes. I added it to my basket to buy for now. This is something that I really want. I don’t have a ton of eye shadow and I plan to be panning a good chunk of it this year. I have been wearing a pretty full face of makeup minus foundation everyday. I have been enjoying doing my eye shadow and throwing on mascara. I would get a ton of use out of this, but I don’t need it. It make not be purchased this time around, but I will keep it on my Loves List for sure.

Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask Set
SIZE 2.7 oz/ 80 mL + Free Eye Mask
WAS $45.00 NOW $39.00

s2167682-main-zoom

I just got a sleeping mask in my FITFABFUN Spring box, so this will be staying on my Love’s List. I really want to try these sleeping masks from this brand though. Has anyone tried them? I love luxury skincare, because I want to put good ingredients on my skin. I only invest in items like these though. I don’t buy high end toner water. lol. I usually spend a bit more on treatments and masks.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask Set

SIZE 2.7 oz/ 80 mL + Free Eye Mask
WAS $45.00 NOW $39.00

s2167674-main-zoom

The same goes for this kit as well. It is staying on my Love’s List for one rainy day. REALLY dying to get one of these bad boys though.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Highlighting Fluid
SIZE 0.21 oz/ 6 g
COLOR: Skywalk – pale iridescent blue
WAS $28.00 NOW $14.00

s1902253-main-zoom

I added this one to my cart as well and keeping it on my Love’s List. Do I need it? No, I have a few liquid highlighters to use, but this one is unique in that it is blue. I could truly use it as a highlight instead of an all over face glow for the ones that I have that have literally no pigmentation. It is also half off and discontinued. I may not get another change to buy this.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Eyeshadow Palette
$42.00

s2093557-main-zoom

These are all colors that I would wear as well. I am keeping it on my Love’s List for when I move out most of my collection of eye shadows. It’s a big palette, but all these colors work for me. I am looking forward to getting this probably next year!

COOLA Full Spectrum 360° Sun Silk Drops SPF 30 1 oz/ 30 mL
$46.00

s2062842-main-zoom

I am taking this off of my list. I’m not paying $46 for 1 ounce of sunscreen. LOL. What was I thinking?! Not clearly apparently.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette – Coconut Fantasy Collection Fantascene
$49.50

s2070076-main-zoom

Another one taken off of the Love’s List. I am never going to wear that dark purple shade. I can’t spend $50 and not wear one of the shades. That would just be wasteful to me, even though the rest of the palette is gorgeous.

Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment
SIZE 0.4 oz/ 13 mL
COLOR: Moonlight – warm glow for fair-medium skin
$48.00

s2072213-main-zoom

Another eye treatment that is staying on the Love’s List. I want to try this one eventually. I did just get an eye treatment though, which is why I am not trying this one. Even though it is in a pot, I am still interested in trying this one out.

Marc Jacobs Beauty
Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter – Coconut Fantasy Collection
SIZE 0.8 oz/ 24 mL
COLOR: Fantasy – warm rose-gold
$44.00

s2070092-main-zoom

This is staying on the Love’s List. I have been lusting after this for soooo long. I cannot justify it though when I still have a ton of liquid highlighters and I am already buying a different highlighter to boot. It will stay here. Hopefully, I can buy this one next year if all I have left are powders.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette
$42.00

s2036481-main-zoom

This one is coming off the list as well for that one black shade and possibly the one above it that I will never use. I am only buying palettes that I can use every shade in, unless there is something uniquely special about that palette that I can overlook one shade. This palette is nothing special, pass.

Too Faced Sex On The Peach Complexion Set
$45.00
($85.00 value)

s2061992-main-zoom

I totally forgot about this being on my list, but I currently have two powders. I am keeping it on my list, but will think about purchasing it once I am down to my last powder. I don’t want to be too much of a hoarder. This will probably be a next year purchase as well unless more powders come into my collection between now and then.

GLOW RECIPE
Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer
SIZE: 2 oz/ 60 mL
$39.00

s2049286-main-zoom

This is for sure staying on my list. It is reasonably priced for 2 ounces of product; however, I have two tubes of moisturizer right now and cannot justify having this sit around on my shelf. This might be more of a November sale buy this year. I might be picking it up then as long as I am almost out of my daytime moisturizer.

IGK
Foamo Holographic Hair Foam
SIZE 2.4 oz/ 70 mL
COLOR: Moon Rock
$22.00

s2030732-main-zoom

I totally forgot about this. I put this right into my cart and keeping it on my list as well. This would be nice to put into my blue hair for a fun color shift or a nice play time with a certain little girl in my life. This could be a lot of unicorn fun. Hopefully, it at least gives off a little bit of color, but its okay if not too. Its making fun memories that really count. I will for sure buy this even if it isn’t during my birthday. For sure in time for Halloween though.

STILA
Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow
SIZE 0.153 oz
COLOR: Starlight – shimmering light gold champagne
$24.00

s2027233-main-zoom

This is coming off of my list. It is really plain and I still have two other minis of these. I would buy this in a mini size, but not in a full size. I don’t want to waste money to have these dry up on me. Maybe once I get used to living here, I’ll see how fast I’ll be going through my makeup. I have already used up a few makeup items, because I have been using it more since the move.

TOO FACED
Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette
$49.00

s2016699-main-zoom

Again, there is 2 shades that I won’t wear and I don’t think it is that unique of a palette. I am taking this off of my Love’s List. I am happy to see that I am chipping away at my list. Sephora has a ton of great items. It would be nice to keep my list somewhat reasonable.

TARTE
Top #Shelfie Essentials
$36.00

s2021038-main-zoom

This is a great mini set! Minis are something that I can finish in a reasonable amount of time. This is a great treat yourself gift. I am keeping it on my list, but passing on it for now. I already know that I love this line and want to keep buying minis of it to refresh my skin once in a while.

SOL DE JANEIRO
Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
SIZE: 8.1 oz/ 240 mL
$45.00

s1802412-main-zoom

This is staying on my list to buy next year. I need to go through my current backstock of body lotions right now. This is a guilty pleasure one that I will indulge in next year though. The scent is too die for and I neeeeed it. I would love it if I could find one of these at Marshalls for even $10 less.

TOO FACED
Diamond Light Multi-Use Highlighter
SIZE 0.42 oz/ 12 g
COLOR: Diamond Fire – diamond blue/ diamond pink/ diamond yellow
$36.00

s2016707-main-zoom

This is a super unique looking highlighter and I would love to add it one day to my collection. I need to move through a few of my highlighters first though. In case you haven’t noticed, highlighters are my weakness. I covet them the most out of any other piece of makeup. I buy tons of lippies, but only have 1 on my wish list. My obsession is highlighters. I will always love them and wear them to death.

SUNDAY RILEY
Space Race Fight Acne, Oil + Pores at Warp Speed Kit
$65.00
($85.00 value)

s1973627-main-zoom

This is staying on my list and I will probably buy it during the November sale. I have a few acne treatments to go through first, but this line really works for me and is worth the splurge. The oil of that size lasted me a year of use, so I know that it is a great buy as well. I highly recommend this kit if you have oily, acne prone skin. It will change your skin for the better if it is anything like mine.

MARC JACOBS BEAUTY
Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter
SIZE 0.8 oz/ 24 mL
COLOR: 50 Dew You? – golden peach
$44.00

s1901982-main-zoom

This is just a lighter more wearable shade that I will be buying in the future as well. I am thinking this will be my winter shade for a believable glow in the cold. My favorite brand is Marc Jacobs. He may be expensive, but it is so so worth it.

CAROLINA HERRERA
GOOD GIRL
SIZE 1.7 oz/ 50 mL
$94.00

s1960707-main-zoom

I want to smell this before I purchase this, but it is a pretty bottle to add to my perfume collection. I want to get down to 5 bottles TOPS. I am keeping this on my Love’s List for when my perfume collection dwindles down. I have already used up one perfume bottle this year and I am almost done with another. I still have loads to go before I am down to five however.

TOO FACED
Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss
SIZE 0.14 oz/ 4 mL
COLOR: Papa Don’t Peach – spiced peach
$19.00

s1894393-main-zoom

I have had this lipgloss on my Love’s List FOREVER. I have been hoping to run into this at Marshalls but no such luck so far. I don’t want to spend $19 on a lip oil when I still have SO MANY lip glosses to get through. This will be staying on my Love’s List until I have used up a good portion of my lip gloss collection or if I need to add a low price item during the November sale to get free shipping.

I have since placed my order, so it will be a surprise in my birthday haul what I ended up picking up including my free birthday gift. I am super excited to be sharing that with all of you later this month or the beginning of next depending upon when I get my hands on all of my orders. I am waiting on my LUSH purchase to see if my tub gets fixed or not. As I write this, it is supposed to be fixed on the 3rd. Fingers crossed for that.

Not Your Average Wishlist

So, my tastes are ever evolving and changing. I develop new hobbies and likes as often as the sun sets and the moon rises. I am going to share a few of the things that I am into now, since my birthday is around the corner. I will eventually buy these things for myself if they are still on my radar when I have the cash. I do like to indulge myself every once in a while and by that, I mean a lot lately. It will simmer down soon enough, especially since I will be paying out of pocket for daycare at least two days a week until I am off the waiting list for a child care voucher. Enough of that though, let’s look at the things that I’ve been side eyeing lately….. all on Etsy. It’s all a vintage trend. Been feeling it lately and I am loving the aesthetic.

Elegant makeup mirror with powder, vintage unused

At this point, I decided to start adding items to my cart for my birthday, since I am really passionate about collecting vintage makeup that mean a lot to me. When I buy a house and have an office, I want to have a vintage vanity and my vintage makeup decorated on it as a show piece. It makes me so happy and I just want to collect it all. I really don’t need any new makeup, skincare, or anything. Instead of doing hauls for my birthday that I had planned, I ended up filling a cart full of Esty items. I am looking for very particular vintage makeup items. Basically, I am looking for new-old stock, which is old vintage pieces that have never been opened or used. Not going to lie, I plan on opening them to see what they look like and the texture of the products. Since everything is sealed, they are probably safe to use, but I don’t think I’d be that brave to use them.

I also plan on buying a vintage vanity, chair, tray, hairbrush, and other antique holding trays. There are lipstick holders and makeup cases. I am just starting out small with the vintage makeup and I already have a vintage hand held mirror plated in real sterling silver. This is just something that has always interested me, but I just didn’t know you could buy some on Etsy. I plan on putting a ton in my save for later and in my cart for when I have the money to purchase pieces of interest. I have a blast just window shopping at all of it. I am excited to have a new hobby: vintage makeup collector. Also, believe it or not, but not all of these pieces are super expensive. I do have my eye on some very pricey items, but all in due time.

Beauty, First Impressions, Lifestyle, SALE, subscription boxes

FITFABFUN Spring Subscription Box

I decided to try the Spring box of FITFABFUN with a $10 off coupon. I was able to chose 3 things in my box and if I think it is worth the value/money, I will get the annual membership. I like that it has a mixture of beauty, fashion, and lifestyle items. It will feed my beauty addition, but also add a few things our home needs and a few pieces to my wardrobe. If there is anything that I don’t like/need, they would make really good gifts. As long as this month, I get my $40 worth then I will continue the subscription, because it would still be worth it. I am really happy with my 3 picks and it was really easy to sign up for the box. The annual membership, you get to choose more items that go into your box, so I am looking forward to that if I decide to do that. Oh, and this is a quarterly subscription, so the next box that I would get would be in June/July. Plenty of time to decide if I want to get the year plan or just another month. This is something I always wanted to try, but could never afford before.

The Box:

The box is cute as hell and I will be keeping it to collect items for birthday gifts and such. It is the perfect size for things like that to store away in a closet. I can for sure see myself in the future repurposing more of these boxes as they are pretty, sturdy, and generally a good size to have around.

20190422_151010.jpg

The box has a magazine insert in it that has recipes and articles, but also has the list of everything in the box and the breakdown of the prices as well. I will also be double checking the prices online to let you know how true to scale what they say you are getting in these boxes. The magazine is a nice touch and I will be reading/using it for sure. I like having light reading material sometimes.

Ciate London Extraordinary Translucent Setting Powder, $22

I am pretty darn excited about getting this one! I have a finishing powder, but now I have a setting powder that I can pair with my concealer or foundation if I want to wear those types of products or anything that really needs a setting powder to “set” it. Otherwise, on the day to day, I use my finishing powder to give my skin a soft blurring effect. I will be putting this powder to good use for sure and now, I will not be needing to buy any face powder for a long, long time. It is also a pricey brand that I wouldn’t buy unless on sale at Sephora.

20190422_151529.jpg

OUAI Leave In Conditioner, $26

I was just talking with my boyfriend, Martin, that I recently finished up my current leave-in that was doing nothing for me and switched to using my expensive Moroccan oil and the wonders it was doing to my hair keeping it knot free. I am going to immediately start using this instead of my expensive oil and see how it compares. If it doesn’t hold up, I want to finish it up and go back to what works for me. I am willing to try new things, but my hair oil (even though expensive) does the job of detangling, moisturizing, and keeping it tangle free when I don’t wash my hair for days. I am excited to try a prestigious brand from this box. Already, this box is equal to what I paid for and I am very happy. I will give you the grand total at the bottom of this post.

Manna Kadar Champagne Body Scrub, $24

This is a huge and generous body scrub tub. It isn’t very pricey when you consider that VS sells their 8 oz tubs for almost the same price and you are getting more than double the amount in there. I will be setting this aside for when I finish my other two body scrubs from VS. I like to use a body scrub before shaving my legs and about once a week to keep my skin soft and smooth. It’s actually a “secret” of mine. It really works to give yourself baby soft skin and to keep your skin in its best condition. The best part? Most of these scrubs with oils hydrate the skin and seal in moisture. This means you don’t have to put lotion on your skin when you get out of the shower. I love skipping a step when I can, because time is a precious commodity.

Unplug Meditation Aromatherapy Diffuser, $55

We just used this last night and I am in love. It changes colors, so it is a pretty cool nightlight. I love the essential oil included. It is a sweet orange scent that is very uplifting. I filled it when we were settling into our room for the night and it diffused until we fell asleep. Don’t know how many hours it works for, but it was very nice. Only con is that it needs to be plugged into a USB port which is a pain. I will buy a USB charger/battery thing, so it can run on its own. Currently, I hook it up to my laptop at night. It isn’t ideal since I tend to knock things over and I don’t want to get water anywhere near my laptop.

20190422_151517.jpg

Eleven By Venus Jump Rope, $15

Not sure that this jump rope is worth $15, but I will be keeping it as part of my exercise routine indoors that I need to get back to. May is a brand new month, my birthday month, the perfect month to get back to exercising again. This will be nice to rotate into my routine and get some good cardio going. I will be keeping this at my desk, which is in a corner of our living room where I will be keeping my exercise equipment/supplies as I collect them. I like having the extra space over here (next to a cement ledge), because it sort of extends the top part of my desk. I didn’t care for this item, but I will put it to good use and will use it.

Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial, $48

I thought this was a face mask, but it is more like an overnight treatment face cream? I am excited to try Korres, another high end brand that I have always wanted to try before. I will set this in my bathroom to alternate which my night time face oil, since one of the serums that I do use at night is more compatible with a cream than an oil. This will be a good pairing with that. This seems EXTREMELY STRONGLY of roses which I LOVE but may not be everyone’s cup of tea. I feel so fancy! I can say without a doubt that I am keeping the subscription right now. Not sure that I can afford to swing the annual membership for a bit, but I will as soon as I am able. That’s like paying for 3 1/2 instead or 4 boxes. Even saving $20 makes a difference, plus with the upgrade, you get to chose two more products in your box instead of 3.

20190422_151449.jpg

Giadzy Copper Plated Measuring Spoons, $15

One can never have too many measuring spoons when cooking and these are a super nice pair and SO SHINY! I am reserving these for my dry ingredients, since these don’t separate. I am excited to have a plastic set for wet and a nice sturdy pair for dry. You really do need two pairs, because yesterday I had to use a TBS of oil and then a TBS of sugar. I had to wash and dry in between cooking. A second pair will just make things so much easier while cooking.

Dr. Brandt Skincare Needles No More No More Baggage Eye De-Puffing Gel, $42

I have a major problem with dark circles under my eyes (Genes) and my eyes are always a bit puffy in the morning. I am currently using a roller ball by ELF for $3 that I am enjoying for depuffing but it does nothing for my dark circles. I am excited to give this a try once I finish up my ELF morning treatment. This will be put in back stock until then, but at least I know that I don’t need to buy any day eye cream/gel anytime soon. My evening eye cream is getting low though. I have a few things on my list to get for my birthday that I limited myself to 4 stores: Lush, MAC, Sephora, and ELF.

That is everything that came in my box. So, I paid $42 with shipping and the value of this box was…..$247. I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth from this box and will use everything. I had nothing set aside for gifts, because I know that I will use everything. This was a very nice surprise! On future calculations, whatever I set aside for gifts will have a box total and a usage total of what I will actually use. I am very happy with my first box and I am looking forward to the Summer box in June/July.

20 By 2020: Project Pan

Let’s start the year off right with a project pan announcement. I have way too much stuff and I want to get my money’s worth out of as much stuff as possible this year. I’d love to use up 1K worth of product in my collection this year. I’ll be focusing on that dollar amount as my goal this year instead of a finite number of empty products. Along with my empty posts, I will be creating a spreadsheet of items that I am using up with the dollar amounts over there. This series will just focus on the project pan and the progress being made on the items that I have selected. I have chosen way more than 20 items to start out with and over the course of the year, I hope to get it down to 20. I just have so many last little bits of things to use up that I’d rather start out with a ton of stuff to move out of my collection early for a nice motivating start. Let’s get into it!

Hair Care: 5

KODAK Digital Still Camera

I have a ton of hair things open at the moment. I have two purple shampoos that I would like to use up. The Shimmer Lights, I use as a primer to strip my blonde hair of any remaining previous color. I use it on dry hair like a hair mask. Speaking of which, I will be doing my hair a different color again. I have three more semi dyes to use up that only last about a month before I can buy my demi colors again. The other purple shampoo is my “daily” shampoo to keep my hair from getting brassy again, so I don’t have to do the Shimmer Lights very often. The hair mask has like one more use left in it. The conditioner is two thirds empty and the Nexxus split end fuser has the tiniest bit left. So, we are starting out with five in this category. I’m not using any styling products at the moment, but that could change.

Body Care: 5

KODAK Digital Still Camera

Again, we are starting out with 5 items in this category as well. I have a few foot masks left in this tube and I’d like to get a new one when its done. Its a lazy girl solution to a pumice stone. I have a quarter of the body splash left that I use after a shower and I have like 3 more to get through. Don’t know why I ever bought these. I’d rather use perfume. I have a fifth of the body butter left, so only a few more uses to go. I love the apple blossom scent, but VS is not CF. I have half of my Lush shower jelly left and I just want to use it up. It’s so annoying to use. Lastly, I like to go through 1 Summer’s Eve product every year, so I’d like to see this gone. Not my favorite scent, but it is nice especially during the winter when I tend to get a bit of heat rash on my legs.

Skin Care: 10

KODAK Digital Still Camera

As you can see, we haven’t even hit the makeup yet and we are already at 20 items. I have a ton of skincare open right now, so I’d like to get through what I have before opening any new things. I have a third of my coconut rose spray and I think I’ll switch to Dean’s baby wipes that are so gentle and effective on the face for a bit. I pay $9 for 480 wipes, so I figure one pack should last me a good long time and be more cost effective in the long run versus buying the liquid and the cotton. I have a tiny bit left in the Paula’s Choice serum and then I have another serum to go through. I kinda don’t want to buy anymore until I’m 30, then I’ll invest in an anti-aging one. My Curology serum is only used when I see texture on my face or a breakout. Otherwise, my bc keeps my skin pretty clear. It just needs a boost sometimes. I have a morning serum that literally does nothing. I don’t find it particularly hydrating and I can just use a moisturizer.

I have the Curology cleanser and moisturizer. I just want to use these guys up. I would not purchase either. Overpriced for what they really are. I have a couple of more uses of my MAC cleanse off oil for when I wear a full face of makeup. I tend to wear that for work, because when I’m at home, let’s be real, I’m not wearing a full face. I have an eye cream that I hate and just want to use up. I have a tiny bit of the Lancer exfoliator left that I just need to push myself to use. Lastly, I have a facial oil that I would like to use up by the end of the year. I have my eye on the PIXI rose oil.

Makeup: 26

KODAK Digital Still Camera

So, my makeup category is really a bonus, since it consists of 26 items. I am going to try to get this done to 20 over the next month, but no promises. The 4 nail polishes, I am counting as one. I just want to use all of these colors in January and see if there are any that I want to declutter from my collection. I will rotate another 4 in every month. I added the two different nail stickers as one, I want to use these up this month as accent nails to just use them up. I do enjoy nail stickers though. The potted lip balm is for home use that I hope to use up by the end of the year and the EOS is for my desk at work. The long BareMinerals palette has a highlight, blush, and bronzer. I only have plans to use up the bronzer. It is basically untouched. I have a mascara that I would like to use up and I feel like it is near the end of its life.

I have a brightener eye shadow pencil that I want to use up, because I have plenty of pencils to get through. I have a liquid eyeliner as well, even though I suck at a wing. I have three primers pulled in currently: a dewy one, a matte one, and a pore filler. I should be able to use the matte one up by Feb no problem. I already cut into the tube. I have my lip scrub that I have a third left and I’d like to just buy a new pot. I have my bouncy blush that I just want to use up on those no makeup days. It doesn’t layer well over foundation. I have a lip gloss, a liquid lipstick, and a bullet lipstick that I’d like to use up this year. I don’t think that is too ambitious and I am sure that I will be using these up to add new ones into the project.

I wanted to enjoy my brand new highlighter, so I added it into the project. I have no plans for this highlighter, but if I hit pan on it, I will be extremely happy. I want to use up this eye primer that I think is pretty unnecessary. I usually just use my concealer. I have a perfume, With Love by Hilary Duff, that I am SO CLOSE to finishing up. I love this scent, but I will be happy to say goodbye to it. I have a mini Fix + to use up in Lavender that I recently purchased that is good for after powdering and before makeup. I have my big jar of finishing powder that I would like to use up this year. I am keeping the jar though and just filling it with a different powder. It’s too pretty to throw out.

I have a cream eye shadow in a very nude shade that I can wear for work and use it up quickly that way. It has a tiny bit of shimmer. I have my Kat Von D concealer that I want to use up, because I no longer support her and her anti-vax ways. I have my Hourglass and Anastasia stick foundations to use up. Last but not least, I have a little liquid highlighter that I like to mix into my moisturizer for a bit of a glow.

So, I have a 46 item project pan currently. I’d like to get down this project to 36 by Feb (before adding items in if necessary). I am a bit ambitious in this project this year, but then again, I always am. Really isn’t much of a surprise to be honest. If you are doing a similar project, please leave a link to your blog down below so I can check it out. You think I can do it? lol. I think I will use up 20 in 2020. I’m more worried about the 1K net worth.

With Love,

Selena
